Ashgabat has become a platform for discussing one of the most pressing global issues: the 7th Central Asian Climate Change Conference has begun in the capital of Turkmenistan. The conference has brought together specialists from the countries of the region, as well as representatives of the United Nations and other international structures. The key goal of the meeting is to analyze the impact of climate change on Central Asia and develop joint response measures. 
The event is taking place at the &quot;&Yacute;yldyz&quot; Hotel. Its organizers are the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) and the Government of Turkmenistan, with the support of the World Bank and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). An international conference titled "Heydar Aliyev — Energy Diplomacy: Solidarity for a Green World" was held in Ashgabat

The diligent work of experienced employees of the &quot;Lebapnebitgazg&ouml;zleg&quot; expedition of the State Corporation &quot;T&uuml;rkmengeologi&yacute;a&quot; has yielded long-awaited results. An industrial inflow of oil &mdash; a valuable raw material &mdash; was obtained from the exploration well No. 1907 drilled by them in the western part of the Goturdepe field.

&quot;We have confidently stepped into the International Year of Peace and Trust. We are actively expanding geological exploration work in various regions of our country, including the Balkan velayat. Our joint efforts are yielding results, adding new wealth to the country&rsquo;s reserves,&quot; said Sunnat Hatamov, the chief geologist of the expedition, with enthusiasm.

The Lebap geological exploration team drilled a well nearly 4,000 meters deep at the mentioned field. This is the deepest well drilled in this area. As a result, a rich layer of oil and natural gas was discovered in the 13th horizon of the lower red layer. According to specialists&#39; calculations, the production capacity of this well is 93.4 tons of crude oil and 4,430 cubic meters of natural gas per day. The successful completion of exploration work convincingly confirms the field&rsquo;s great potential for producing valuable natural resources.

This significant labor achievement in a landmark year was achieved thanks to the coordinated efforts of the drilling rig supervisor Jumageldy Orazov and his team members.

It is especially worth noting the high qualifications and extensive experience of the team members. Among them, the master driller Magtym Mahmudov, lead geologist Mamurjan Charyyev, driller Tore Bazarov, as well as assistant drillers Gahryman Gurtgeldiyev, Artyk Ovezgulyyev, and others stand out.

Last week, 31 transactions were registered at the trading of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Recently, the city of Gorgan in the Islamic Republic of Iran hosted the first specialized exhibition showcasing Turkmenistan&#39;s export opportunities. It was attended by 12 state-owned enterprises of Turkmenistan, as well as about 50 members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

The three-day event, held at the Gorgan International Exhibition Center, created favorable opportunities to familiarize attendees with our country&#39;s achievements and export potential in areas such as food, textiles, agriculture, and high technologies, as well as for establishing mutually beneficial business ties. The exhibition widely featured products manufactured by our country&#39;s large industrial structures through oil and gas processing. Neighboring countries, rich in hydrocarbon resources, attach great importance to the development of this sector. Our country&#39;s production and technological capacities in this area aroused deep interest among representatives of the friendly state. Environmentally friendly products manufactured by our country&#39;s textile enterprises were also presented. Products of the &quot;Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment&quot; enterprise, created on the initiative of the Hero-Arkadag, were presented to the population of the neighboring country for the first time.

A significant portion of the exhibition participants from the Turkmen side consisted of representatives of the private sector.

The exhibition created conditions for conducting effective negotiations on promoting cooperation between state and private enterprises of Turkmenistan and Iran. Within its framework, a series of meetings were held between representatives of the business circles of the two countries. Representatives of the neighboring country highly praised our country&#39;s economic potential and export opportunities.

Ashgabat is preparing to host the XXIV Multidisciplinary International Exhibition and Conference &quot;White City Ashgabat&quot; on May 24-25, 2025. This significant event will become a platform for demonstrating the potential and dynamic development of the Turkmen capital in such key areas as urban development, industry, science and education. The organizers are the Hyakimlik of Ashgabat city, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Energy Forum company.

The program includes plenary sessions, panel sessions and bilateral meetings to discuss strategic areas of sustainable development of Turkmenistan in general and the city of Ashgabat in particular. Development of urban infrastructure of Turkmenistan: achievements and prospects

The session &ldquo;Modern Construction and Industry: Technologies and Financing&rdquo; will be devoted to issues of modernization of the construction industry and industrial production, introduction of advanced technologies in the production of building materials and effective strategies for financing infrastructure projects.

The session will cover aspects of international industrial cooperation and digitalization. Special attention will be paid to innovations in geological exploration and extraction of mineral resources, also mechanisms for attracting investment in infrastructure and production projects.

The business program will also address issues of public-private partnership (PPP) as an effective tool for the development of construction, industry and transport infrastructure, including a discussion of PPP models, legal and financial mechanisms.

The third session of the conference is &quot;Technological innovations in the modernization of the construction, industrial and energy sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan&quot;. Its participants will discuss key issues of the implementation of advanced technologies and digital transformation strategies in the construction, industry and energy sectors of Turkmenistan, as well as current tasks of modernizing production processes in these sectors. Particular attention will be paid to the role of digital technologies in improving the efficiency, safety and environmental friendliness of production.

The session will also touch on the importance of cooperation between business and educational institutions to prepare highly qualified specialists who will be able to work in the conditions of rapidly changing technological realities. Participants will consider modern practices of training engineering and technical personnel who are able to effectively apply innovations in their fields.

Much attention will be paid to state support for innovation processes, including investments in digital infrastructure and incentives for the development of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI). A reporting meeting was held at the Central Building of Turkmenistan&#39;s oil and gas complex to review the performance of the industry&#39;s enterprises over the first four months of the current year &ndash; the International Year of Peace and Trust. Meeting participants discussed the tasks set for the country&#39;s oil and gas complex by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held via digital system on May 8, where the performance of all economic sectors for the current period was reviewed.

Opening the reporting meeting, Batyr Amanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, specifically emphasized that Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov places immense trust in the workers of the oil and gas industry. Consequently, the state provides substantial support and creates all necessary conditions to enhance the sector&#39;s activities. Deputy Chairman Amanov also noted that it is the duty of every employee to work diligently and conscientiously, thereby making a worthy contribution to the development of our Motherland.

The 15th meeting of the International Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association was held at the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding in the city of Arkadag. The event was attended by heads of relevant institutions of our country, members of the Association, as well as domestic and international horse breeders.

In the morning, in front of the building of the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding, performances by masters of the arts took place. Afterwards, in the university&rsquo;s foyer, participants of the 15th meeting of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding visited an exhibition showcasing works of visual and decorative-applied arts, carpet and jewelry pieces, as well as photographs dedicated to Akhal-Teke horses.
