At the &laquo;Şat&shy;lyk&shy;ş&auml;&shy;her&shy;gaz&raquo; gas enterprise of the &ldquo;Oguzhanetrapgaz&rdquo; department under the &ldquo;Ma&shy;ry&shy;ga&shy;z&uuml;p&shy;j&uuml;n&shy;&ccedil;i&shy;lik&rdquo; directorate, work is always carried out according to the established plan, and the activities of all services of the enterprise are organized clearly and efficiently. This ensures that the residents of Shatlyk can use &ldquo;blue fuel&rdquo; throughout the year without interruptions and enjoy the benefits of natural gas.

During the last autumn-winter season, the enterprise&rsquo;s employees prepared the relevant gas pipelines and equipment within the set deadlines to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to the population.

In our country, in order to further improve the standard of living of the population, the territory of the gas city is gradually expanding through the construction of new residential buildings and complexes. Work is also underway to provide gas to newly formed settlements. Last year, for residents who moved into new houses built along Senagat Street, internal gas pipelines totaling 500 meters were laid and commissioned as part of the national program.

Currently, the enterprise&rsquo;s employees maintain medium- and low-pressure gas pipelines with a total length of more than 115 kilometers across the city. Before the start of the winter season, technical inspections were carried out, and the pipelines were painted and protected against corrosion. This allows the city&rsquo;s two gas distribution stations and 31 gas regulating units to function normally and supply households with natural gas without interruptions.

Thanks to the joint work of the gas service staff, 1,768 households and 66 institutions fully utilize &ldquo;blue fuel.&rdquo; Contributions to ensuring gas supply to consumers are made by internal service locksmith Seyitmyrat Amansahedov, external service locksmiths Annadurdy Annadurdyyev and Gadam Gapbarov, emergency prevention service locksmith Batyr Tazebayev, and other experienced employees.

This year, the enterprise&rsquo;s employees are also tasked with gasifying newly developed residential areas of the city. In accordance with the national program, it is planned to lay a 550-meter main gas pipeline and a 500-meter internal gas pipeline on Mollanepes Street, as well as install and commission one gas regulating unit.

&ldquo;Economical and safe use of natural gas is the most important condition for consumers of &lsquo;blue fuel.&rsquo; Therefore, it is also important that gas workers carry out educational work among the population. Our occupational safety and technical security staff, according to the established plan, conduct explanatory and educational activities in secondary schools and kindergartens of Shatlyk on the rules for using natural gas,&rdquo; said Kakamyrat Gummadov, head of the &laquo;Şat&shy;lyk&shy;ş&auml;&shy;her&shy;gaz&raquo; gas enterprise.

Natural gas has its own advantages

In our wonderful era, consistent efforts are being implemented to modernize the country&rsquo;s oil and gas complex, relying on digital system technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of operations. Effective work is being carried out to ensure the profitability of every branch of the industry, increase the production of oil and gas chemical products, and favorably deliver them to domestic and foreign markets.

At the beginning of our glorious year, it was of particular importance that specialists from the &quot;Marynebitgazg&ouml;zleg&quot; expedition under the State Corporation &quot;T&uuml;rkmengeologi&yacute;a&quot; obtained a commercial flow of natural gas from the 2nd exploration well at the Hazarly site. As is tradition, this event provides a basis for forecasting and discovering new deposits of gas reserves within the country. Taking 2024 and 2025 into account, it can be said that the new oil and gas fields discovered in the Lebap, Mary, and Balkan regions have launched a decisive increase in operations within the oil and gas sector. This is because every discovered natural resource and field creates new tasks, lines of work, and positions regarding their development.

The annual plans intended for implementation by the State Corporation &quot;T&uuml;rkmengeologi&yacute;a&quot; envision goals that are inextricably linked.

They are aimed at increasing the volume of discovered natural gas reserves and further deepening the integration of the digital system into geological exploration work.

Effective work is underway

At an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on February 13, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed and approved the &quot;Program for Socioeconomic Development and Investment Program of Turkmenistan for 2026&quot; and emphasized the need to carry out relevant work to successfully implement the objectives outlined in the Program for 2026. This important document outlines the objectives for the current year: ensuring the country&#39;s socioeconomic development, pursuing an active investment policy, introducing modern digital technologies in the industry, creating new jobs, and further improving the standard of living. This year, high indicators will be achieved in all regions of the country and sectors of the economy.

According to the Program, in 2026, Turkmenistan&#39;s oil and gas industry will place particular emphasis on the construction of the Serhetabat-Herat section, known as &quot;Arkadagyň ak &yacute;oly,&quot; which is part of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project. Drilling of production wells for the first stage of the Galkynysh gas field will continue. Furthermore, exploration and deep-well drilling are planned to identify new oil and gas deposits and increase their reserves in the country.

The 2026 Program was prepared based on the successful completion of the objectives outlined in the &quot;Socio-Economic Development Program of Turkmenistan for 2022&ndash;2052&quot; and is based on state budget indicators, production and financial plans, and planned activities. In accordance with this plan, it is planned that, thanks to the comprehensive development of the economy, macroeconomic indicators will grow steadily, and the growth rate of Turkmenistan&#39;s gross domestic product in 2026 will be no less than 6.3%.

Major projects will be implemented in Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector in 2026

On March 7, a reporting meeting was held in the central building of Turkmenistan&#39;s oil and gas sector, focusing on the results of the first two months of 2026.

During the meeting, the objectives set by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the oil and gas sector at the regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting held digitally on March 6 were discussed.

Priorities identified included increasing the volume and diversification of natural gas exports, efficiently developing oil and gas fields, and implementing advanced technologies to expand production capacity. Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation with major foreign oil and gas companies, attracting foreign investment, and improving the professional skills of industry specialists.

The construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, in particular the important section of the Serhetabat-Herat pipeline, known as &quot;Arkadagyň ak &yacute;oly,&quot; was identified as a key objective.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov noted that the President of Turkmenistan places great trust in workers in the oil and gas industry. Turkmenistan&#39;s business community concluded deals with the State concern &quot;T&uuml;rkmennebit&quot; for the purchase of BND 60/90 grade road petroleum bitumen, SN-180 and SN-600 grade base oils, and TPP D 30 S grade polypropylene.

Textile products were also sold on the domestic market at exchange trades held at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week. On the international market, deals were concluded for the purchase of thick licorice root extract, liquefied gas, Portland cement, and aerated concrete blocks. Cotton yarn and first-grade wheat flour were purchased on both domestic and international markets. Oil production plan of the State concern &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo; for January&ndash;February of the current year was fulfilled at 107.3 percent. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via digital system on March 6.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov reported on the results of the work carried out in January&ndash;February of the current year aimed at increasing oil and gas production and expanding the routes for their supply to the global market.

As noted, during the reporting period the plan for oil refining at oil refineries was fulfilled at 107.1 percent. The production plan for gasoline was fulfilled at 122.7 percent, diesel fuel at 106.4 percent, lubricating oils at 102.7 percent, liquefied gas at 119.7 percent, and the extraction of natural and associated gas at 106.7 percent.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of taking comprehensive measures to increase the production of hydrocarbon resources. The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out effective work to ensure the efficient use of the existing production capacities of the oil and gas sector and to explore new mineral reserves.

Oil production plan of the State concern “Türkmennebit” for January–February fulfilled at 107.3 percent

On February 6, President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital system, during which the results of the work carried out in the country over the first two months of the current year were summarized.

Chairperson of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova informed about the results of the national parliament&rsquo;s activities for January&ndash;February of this year.

As reported, work is currently underway to introduce amendments and additions, in accordance with modern realities, to the Code of Administrative Offenses, the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code, as well as to the Laws &ldquo;On Migration,&rdquo; &ldquo;On Fisheries and the Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources,&rdquo; &ldquo;On Licensing Certain Types of Activities,&rdquo; &ldquo;On Accounting and Financial Reporting,&rdquo; and a number of other legal acts.

In order to ensure a high level of the elections scheduled for March 29 of this year&mdash;elections of members of the halk maslahaty in the newly established etraps of the country&rsquo;s velayats, as well as elections to replace deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, and city halk maslahaty and Gengeshes who left their posts early&mdash;organizational and methodological assistance is being provided to electoral districts to explain the significance of the upcoming socio-political event and electoral legislation.

Summarizing the information, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of further improving the country&rsquo;s legislation.

Then the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan delivered reports on the results of activities in the sectors under their supervision for January&ndash;February of the current year, as well as on the progress in implementing various state programs.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov listened to the reports and then addressed the members of the Cabinet of Ministers. The head of state noted that good indicators had been achieved during the first two months of the year.

As a result of the implemented policy, programs aimed at the development of the homeland are being successfully carried out. Transformations in economic sectors are continuing, production industries are being consistently improved, and significant investments are being directed toward the construction of modern enterprises and the modernization of existing ones, the head of state said.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also stated with satisfaction that the GDP growth rate during the reported period amounted to 6.3 percent. As noted, effective work is being carried out in the oil and gas, trade, and transport and communications complexes, and reforms in the spheres of science, education, healthcare, sports, and culture are continuing successfully.

At the same time, the construction of new industrial facilities, residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, and other facilities is ongoing. Emphasis was also placed on the need to conduct effective work to address the tasks and programs adopted.

Arkadagly Hero Serdar also signed a corresponding document on the transfer of the day off from March 8 to Monday, March 9.

President of Turkmenistan held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers

Maral Gullyyeva, a student at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, has developed a technology for producing a dye from ordinary sulfur.

Her invention has been registered with the State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.

The research was conducted in a laboratory at the university&#39;s Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Ecology. Laboratory tests and experiments were conducted with ordinary sulfur extracted from the &laquo;Galkynyş&raquo; gas field.

The first stage involved producing sulfuric acid from ordinary sulfur. Then, through a chemical reaction between sulfuric acid and aluminum, aluminum sulfate was formed. Gypsum, lime, and a number of other components were added to the resulting aluminum sulfate. The resulting combination produced dyes and adhesives.

Testing of the substances showed that they possess resistance to degradation and antiseptic properties. It was also established that the substances are harmless to living organisms, the environment, and the soil.

The production of innovative dyes and adhesives is seen as cost-effective and does not require complex technologies. The resulting products can be used in various sectors of the national economy, particularly construction, paper production, leather, textiles, and other economically significant industries.

New sulfur processing capabilities could have a significant impact on the development of the oil, gas, and chemical industries in Turkmenistan.

A student at the International Oil and Gas University has created an innovative dye from sulfur

An awareness-raising meeting was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University. Representatives of various ministries and public organizations of Turkmenistan took part in the event and delivered speeches. They emphasized the importance of complying with the laws of Turkmenistan, particularly the provisions of the Constitution as the country&rsquo;s fundamental law, maintaining order and discipline, and following the principles of a healthy lifestyle. It was also noted that work in this direction is one of the priorities of the state policy.

During the speeches, the great importance of the traditions of ancestors and the rich cultural heritage in fostering such admirable qualities as patriotism and high morality among the younger generation was emphasized.

An awareness-raising meeting held at the International Oil and Gas University

On March 4, a spectacular cultural event took place at the &quot;Bina&quot; Equestrian Center in Baku, featuring the national equestrian games group &ldquo;Galkynyş&rdquo; from Turkmenistan. The performance of the renowned group was a true celebration of friendship and art, demonstrating the rich traditions of Turkmen horse breeding and the unique skills of the jigits.

The creative collective presented its program to the Azerbaijani public for the first time. The artists demonstrated the most complex elements of horse riding, virtuoso acrobatic tricks, and impeccable synchronisation, emphasising the high professionalism and long-standing traditions of the Turkmen school of equestrian art. The audience warmly welcomed the dynamic and spectacular performance.

The program also featured performances by masters of the State Circus of Turkmenistan and the State Equestrian Circus named after G&ouml;rogly in the city of Arkadag, who presented colorful acrobatic and artistic numbers reflecting the uniqueness of the national culture and modern achievements of the country&#39;s circus art.

A cultural show featuring the “Galkynyş” group took place in Baku

&quot;Asuda Akym&quot;, a business entity operating in the D&auml;new etrap of the Lebap velayat, is increasing production of motor oils under the &quot;IMPEROL&quot; and &quot;Şir&quot; &yacute;ag brands.

The company produces 25 types of motor and lubricating oils, including semi-synthetic and fully synthetic products, which are in demand in both domestic and international markets.

The plant&#39;s production capacity is up to 20,000 tons per year. It uses products from the Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery Complex as its primary raw materials.

The finished products are bottled in plastic containers of 1, 5, 20, and 25 liters.

The plant employs 150 specialists, operating modern equipment from leading international manufacturers.

The company is currently expanding its exports to neighboring countries and plans to increase production volumes in the future.

Production of domestically produced motor oils is growing in Turkmenistan

In this regard, the Secretary of the State Security Council and the Minister of Defense were given a number of specific instructions. 
Then, the heads of the country&#39;s military and law enforcement agencies presented reports on the activities carried out in the first two months of this year in their supervised structures and the implementation of instructions previously issued by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

As noted, work continues to improve the qualifications of personnel and implement digital systems and modern technologies in subordinate structures. The material and technical resources of these structures are also being strengthened, and the legal framework is being improved.

After hearing the reports, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions and directions to the heads of the country&#39;s military and law enforcement agencies.

The President emphasized that, in accordance with Turkmenistan&#39;s defensive Military Doctrine, measures are being taken to ensure a high level of security and territorial integrity for our independent, permanently neutral Fatherland. He also emphasized that priority attention is being given to strengthening the country&#39;s defense capability and improving the social and living conditions of the defenders of the Fatherland and their families. In this context, it was noted that work in this area will continue.

Gasoline Plant in Owadandepe is the most modern and unique complex in the world for converting natural gas into liquid fuel. The plant utilizes TIGAR technology developed by the Danish company Haldor Topsoe. It annually produces 600,000 tons of A-92 (ECO-93) synthetic gasoline, 12,000 tons of diesel fuel, and 115,000 tons of liquefied gas. This plant is considered a significant technological achievement for the national economy. The price of gasoline produced from 1,000 cubic meters of gas is 5-6 times higher than the price of the gas itself. In 2019, the plant was awarded the &quot;Best Project of the Year&quot; award by the British organization Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

The Polymer Plant in Gyyanly is one of the most complex gas chemical complexes. Here, valuable components are separated from natural gas and converted into solid plastics (polymers). The complex has the capacity to process up to 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year, producing approximately 386,000 tons of high-density polyethylene and 81,000 tons of polypropylene annually.

Both facilities fully comply with modern environmental safety requirements and employ innovative technologies. The facilities are consistently improving their facilities. In 2018, at the opening ceremony of the polymer plant in Gyyanly, the complex received a special award from the German association Vereinigung f&uuml;r Gemeinsame Objektdurchf&uuml;hrung aus Westfalen (VGOW) for being equipped with the most advanced and waste-free gas processing technologies.

Gas chemical industry has become a key sector

A ceremonial meeting dedicated to International Women&rsquo;s Day was held at the Center for Public Organizations. The festive event was organized jointly by the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Council of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Industry Workers, and other sectoral organizations. Speakers emphasized that the role of women in modern Turkmen society and the state is steadily increasing. Special attention was given to Turkmenistan&rsquo;s state policy regarding women. It was highlighted that the country&rsquo;s Constitution and relevant national legislation, along with successfully implemented programs related to modern education, healthcare, and women&rsquo;s participation in public life, provide a reliable guarantee for the protection of their rights. Women of Turkmenistan express sincere gratitude for the constant care of the state, for the conditions created for family well-being and the upbringing of the younger generation, addressing their words of boundless appreciation to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

On the eve of International Women&#39;s Day, the Balkanabat oil secondary professional School of the State concern &quot;T&uuml;rkmennebit&quot; selected its most beautiful and talented student. The event was held in a festive atmosphere and became a true celebration of youth, beauty, and creativity.

The competition aimed to unlock the intellectual and creative potential of young people, support active young women, and promote national traditions and cultural values. Participants demonstrated not only physical attractiveness but also a high level of preparation, artistry, resourcefulness, and stage presence. The competition program included several stages, from a presentation where contestants introduced themselves, shared their hobbies, life goals, and achievements, to a national costume show.

The winners of the competition were awarded Certificates of Honor and valuable gifts on behalf of the educational institution and the trade union organization.
