This milestone once again confirms the status of OGT 2025 as one of the largest energy business platforms in the history of the Eurasian region. Record number of participants confirmed for OGT 2025

On October 17, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyyev reported during a government meeting on the preparations for the upcoming Days of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s Economy in Frankfurt, Germany.

According to reports, the forum aims to present participants with investment projects in the oil and gas and chemical industries, modern agricultural technologies, innovations in the textile sector, as well as developments in healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry, including the Medical Cluster of the city of Arkadag.

As part of the event, bilateral meetings are planned, and documents related to business partnerships are expected to be signed.

Days of Turkmenistan’s economy to be held in Germany

On October 17, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported on the draft &quot;Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026&ndash;2052&quot; and the Resolution approving it.

The strategy aims to improve the higher professional education management system in accordance with international standards and national experience, implement modern planning and management mechanisms taking into account demographic indicators, labor market development, and economic planning, and create a national environment for competitive higher professional education based on advanced teaching methods, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence.

At the same time, it is planned to radically modernize educational activities through state and international accreditation, continuously improve the professional skills of faculty, staff, and managers, and create modern tools for interaction between science, education, industry, and business.

Turkmenistan Approves New Strategy for Higher Professional Education until 2052

On October 17, at a government meeting, Turkmenistan&#39;s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov noted that the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) was successfully held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in August of this year. Following the international forum, the Avaza Political Declaration was adopted.

In this regard, the Foreign Minister shared the good news that, given the political significance of this International Forum and the enormous importance of its outcomes for the global community, the Resolution &quot;Avaza Political Declaration&quot; was unanimously adopted at the 18th plenary meeting of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, held on October 14, 2025, in New York City, USA.

Avaza Political Declaration was adopted as a UN General Assembly Resolution

On October 17, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of public issues were discussed.

Mejlis Speaker Dunyagozel Gulmanova reported on the ongoing work to modernize national legislation. As reported, amendments and additions are currently being made to the Code of Administrative Offenses, the Criminal Code, the Arbitration Procedure Code, the Criminal Procedure Code, the Criminal Executive Code, the Family Code, the Social Protection Code, and several other laws.

Acting Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Khodjamyrat Geldimyradov reported on the ongoing preparations for a scientific and practical conference marking the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of the national currency, the manat. The forum will be held on November 1.

The Fourth Meeting of the Strategic Advisory Council "Turkmenistan – UN" Held in Ashgabat

The organizing committee of one of the region&#39;s most prestigious international energy forums &mdash; the 30th International Conference and Exhibition &ldquo;Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan &ndash; 2025&rdquo; (OGT 2025) &mdash; has announced that China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) will act as the platinum sponsor of the anniversary event, scheduled to take place in Ashgabat from October 22 to 24, 2025.

CNPC began its operations in Turkmenistan in 2002, investing in the oil and gas sector and providing engineering and technical services.
