During the visit, the delegation of the International University for the Humanities and Development held talks with the leadership of the branch of Kent State University (USA) in Florence. The meeting continued the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in October 2024.

Within the framework of the State Program for Ensuring Cybersecurity of Turkmenistan for 2022&ndash;2025, approved by Resolution No. 2623 of the President of Turkmenistan dated March 2, 2022, important measures aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of specialists are being implemented in the country. A special place among these initiatives is occupied by the &ldquo;Cyber Competition&rdquo; in the field of information security.

Guided by the specific tasks set by the esteemed President to develop the nation&rsquo;s oil and gas industry, local workers of the Nebitdag Drilling Operations Directorate of the Trust under the State Concern &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; have presented a worthy labor gift to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

Throughout this landmark year, drillers have successfully completed the drilling of a total of nine productive wells. During this period, exploration specialists reached an aggregate drilling depth of 24,814 meters.

Recently, a team led by Dovletmyrat Gulamsoyunov, Head of the Drilling Department, successfully completed the drilling of Well No. 965 at the Nebitdag field. The design depth of this well&mdash;2,400 meters&mdash;yielded a commercial inflow of &ldquo;black gold&rdquo; from a reservoir at a depth of 2,235 meters. Following technical operations, the new oil well was brought into operation by oil workers of the Gumdagnebit Oil and Gas Production Enterprise. The well is currently producing 50 tons of crude oil per day.

In addition, a drilling team headed by Ezigeldi Hangeldiyev worked diligently to reach the productive reservoir of Well No. 1847 at the Goturdepe field. As a result, the well is now producing 15 tons of crude oil per day. This stands as a worthy labor contribution by the drillers to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

On December 17, Turkmenistan&rsquo;s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Myahri Byashimova, met with Kurt Edwards, founder and president of the consulting company FIT International, in Ashgabat.

Deals Concluded at Wednesday’s Exchange Trading for the Sale of Products of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”

The Third Meeting of the Heads of Parliaments of Central Asian States and the Republic of Korea was held in Tashkent on December 16. Turkmenistan was represented at the meeting by officials from its Embassy in Uzbekistan.

During the event, participants exchanged views on pressing issues related to the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue and the expansion of multilateral cooperation between Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea.

Plenary sessions and thematic discussions focused on deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation in areas such as social justice, environmental protection, climate change mitigation, sustainable use of natural resources, and the improvement of environmental legislation.

Participants also noted that previous meetings held in Seoul in September 2023 and in Ashgabat in October 2024 clearly demonstrated the relevance and demand for this format of inter-parliamentary interaction.

Following the meeting, a Joint Declaration of the Third Meeting of the Heads of Parliaments of Central Asian States and the Republic of Korea was adopted.

​President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has left on a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation in order to participate in the XVI BRICS Summit. The head of state was escorted by officials at the Ashgabat International Airport.

One of the priority vectors of Turkmenistan&#39;s foreign policy strategy, based on the principles of positive neutrality, peacefulness and constructive cooperation, is the development of a fruitful dialogue with reputable regional and international organizations and structures. In an effort to realize its peacemaking and creative potential for the common good, our country comes up with specific initiatives, the relevance and relevance of which is confirmed by the realities of the time.

Neutral Turkmenistan actively participates in the efforts of the international community aimed at ensuring universal peace and security and achieving Sustainable Development Goals. Being aimed at an equal and mutually beneficial partnership that meets common interests, our country demonstrates openness to expanding its range and geography.

A clear confirmation of this is the current working visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Kazan, which has become the venue for the next BRICS Summit. The fact that the head of the Turkmen state was invited to the current summit in the status of an honorary guest is evidence of the high international authority of the Motherland, recognition of its proactive and responsible position in matters of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with foreign partners. It should also be noted that this is the first participation of the President of Turkmenistan in the BRICS Summit.

As you know, this interstate association was founded in 2006 as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The purpose of the BRICS activities is the development of a consistent, active, equal dialogue and effective cooperation.

As for Turkmenistan&#39;s traditionally friendly relations with the Russian Federation, which are of a strategic nature, their integral component is the strengthening of close cooperation with the largest regions and subjects of the Russian Federation. A good example here is the long-term productive partnership with the Republic of Tatarstan, built on the principles of long-term, mutual benefit and solid positive experience of working together.

Regular meetings and negotiations at various levels have laid a reliable foundation for Turkmen-Tatarstan cooperation. In recent years, a new impetus has been given to bilateral trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties. The existing potential creates favorable opportunities for entering new promising areas of cooperation and diversifying business contacts.

For centuries, our peoples have maintained friendly relations based on common cultures, similarity of languages, common religion, equality and respect for each other. The high level of mutual understanding and trust inherent in the Turkmen-Tatarstan dialogue is a solid foundation for the constructive development of bilateral cooperation.

The mutual participation of representatives of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation in major international events and national festive celebrations has become a good tradition. Regular bilateral meetings and visits fully contribute to the development of a multifaceted upward partnership. So, in May of this year, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to Kazan, where he participated as an honorary guest in the XV International Economic Forum &quot;Russia &ndash; the Islamic World: KazanForum&quot;.

It is also noteworthy that this month the delegation of the Russian Federation, headed by President Vladimir Putin, which included the head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov, took part in the International Forum &quot;Interrelation of Times and Civilizations &ndash; the basis of peace and development&quot; dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker of the East Mahtumkuly Fragi.
