At present, Turkmenistan is successfully continuing the implementation of digital system capabilities across all sectors. The country is actively pursuing the wide adoption of modern information and communication technologies and artificial intelligence, ensuring their coordinated operation, protecting information, and further developing the support system. All of this provides citizens with access to new digital services, simplifies daily life, and enhances the development and competitiveness of the national economy&rsquo;s sectors.

During the working visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the United States, business forums were held, including &ldquo;Turkmen-American Business Cooperation: New Opportunities and Prospects&rdquo; and the forum dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the &ldquo;Central Asia &mdash; United States&rdquo; cooperation format. At these forums, both sides emphasized the importance of activating cooperation in areas such as high technologies, digitalization, cybersecurity, communications, and digital infrastructure. This is highly significant for the implementation of the &ldquo;Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2026&ndash;2028,&rdquo; approved by the President. Among these, particular importance is given to artificial intelligence. The possibilities for the wide integration of AI technologies into key economic sectors, including finance, agriculture, energy, and public administration, are continuously being explored.

Today, hundreds of millions of people worldwide benefit from digital technologies and eagerly anticipate innovations. Thousands are interested in current and future development trends in this field. Some are thinking about generating new ideas and determining in which areas these technologies will be most effective. Artificial intelligence is one of the most important directions for the development of human society. Therefore, it is interesting for all of us to see what innovations it will bring in the near future.

In the modern world, artificial intelligence has become one of the key driving forces of digital transformation. Today, it is not only a subject of scientific research but also a fundamental tool for the development of society, the economy, and public administration. Over several decades, when this technology existed mostly at a theoretical level, it has now become a real force affecting the daily lives of billions of people. The implementation of AI goes beyond computer programs. Today, it is widely used in healthcare, logistics, education, energy, the banking system, public services, and the arts. At the same time, issues of ethics, employment, and information security are actively discussed.

Over the past ten years, artificial intelligence technologies have developed at a rapid pace. Most tasks previously performed by humans are now carried out by &ldquo;smart&rdquo; algorithms. The main areas influencing modern AI development include the widespread use of big data, the application of more powerful computing resources, the development of self-learning algorithms, and increased investments from major companies in this sector.

Today, AI is implemented through accessible and highly effective platforms such as OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Anthropic, Microsoft Copilot, Midjourney, and DALL&middot;E, which are widely used around the world.

&nbsp;

One of the most discussed topics is AI&rsquo;s impact on the labor market. Even now, some professions are being automated, but at the same time, new ones are emerging: AI engineers, data analysts, cybersecurity specialists, AI ethics experts, and programmers developing AI technologies. It is forecasted that by 2030, around 300 million jobs worldwide could be automated.

&nbsp;

According to experts, by 2035, AI will contribute more than 15 trillion dollars to the global economy. In the future, AI will not only process information but will also think ethically and creatively. Some scientific centers predict that by the mid-21st century, &ldquo;superintelligent&rdquo; AI could emerge. Currently, the key issues involve AI&rsquo;s alignment with moral and ethical values, as the cultural diversity of societies complicates this challenge. Therefore, the use of AI should be guided by certain cultural norms. Since the application of digital technologies is linked to the work of state institutions, their approach to these issues can influence development in various ways.

&nbsp;

In the future, AI may lead to the automation of most work processes, collaboration with AI, personalized education, precise diagnostics, development of drugs and treatment methods, creation of individualized treatment and nutrition plans for the elderly and for disease prevention, and the advancement of digital creativity. In this context, it is worth noting that Turkmenistan&rsquo;s delegations participate in international forums dedicated to AI and its possibilities, exchange experience, and gain positive practices. In addition, in November this year, the capital hosted the III Turkmen-Chinese Scientific and Innovation Forum &ldquo;Innovations, New Technologies, and Their Implementation in Production.&rdquo; This is further evidence that the country is open to international cooperation with the world&rsquo;s scientific centers in science, technology, and innovation and demonstrates state support for the development and active implementation of innovative technologies in economic sectors.

The role of Artificial Intelligence in modern development processes

On December 3, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdisalam Abdi Ali.

The parties discussed cooperation between the two countries within international organizations, primarily within the United Nations. They noted the similarity of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s and Somalia&rsquo;s approaches to issues of global peace and sustainable development.

Turkmenistan and Somalia highlighted similar approaches to global peace and sustainable development

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates, Bayram Bayramov, presented his credentials to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on December 1 at the Qasr Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The President congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to this responsible post and wished him success in further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The first scientific research center in Central Asia has opened in Turkmenistan, under the auspices of the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. The center utilizes equipment similar to that used in the Olympic academies of the United States, Germany, and Japan.

The complex is equipped with Italian BOD POD and Cosmed systems for analyzing athletes&#39; body composition.

The center serves two purposes: preparing national teams for international competitions and training specialists in sports medicine, biomechanics, and psychology.

A gala reception dedicated to Romania&#39;s National Day was held in Ashgabat on December 1. Turkmenistan prepares for Neutrality Day

On December 3, the President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The meeting reviewed the performance of the country&#39;s military and law enforcement agencies for the eleven months of this year.

Important issues related to ensuring security and peace in our independent state, strengthening the material and technical base of the military and law enforcement agencies, and further improving their operations were also discussed in detail.

Addressing the members of the State Security Council, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to maintain a very high level of public order and security during the festive celebrations and international events dedicated to the glorious 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&#39;s permanent neutrality, as well as International Neutrality Day. Furthermore, the Head of State gave relevant instructions to the heads of the military and law enforcement agencies, given the approaching New Year. Turkmenistan held a regular meeting of the State Security Council

A group of Turkmen-Kazakh specialists in hydrological monitoring and rescue operations conducted field research on the Amu Darya River near the Kerki gauging station (Lebap velayat). The purpose of the field trip was to familiarize themselves with the transboundary early warning system and identify locations for future GIS studies.

On site, in the Kerki district, the group confirmed sites for pilot hydrological surveys, which will be conducted until 2028. The main goal of the project is to improve the Central Asian system of mutual early warning for hydrological situations and identify potential risks.

The plan involves installing automated monitoring stations at gauging stations with satellite internet connections and developing effective public warning measures, including siren and voice alarm systems and mobile apps.

A conference and exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality were held

Specialists of the &ldquo;Nebitgazburawlayysh&rdquo; trust of the state concern &ldquo;Turkmennebit&rdquo; have successfully completed drilling operations on three wells at the promising Uzynada field in the Balkan region. The wells have yielded an industrial flow of hydrocarbon raw materials.

According to the trust&rsquo;s report, drilling teams of the &ldquo;Goturdepe&rdquo; drilling department finished work on production wells No. 72 and No. 86, each with a design depth of 6,800 meters, reaching depths of 6,720 and 6,785 meters respectively. The daily output of these wells amounts to approximately 44 and 43 tons of gas condensate, as well as 20,000 and 18,000 cubic meters of natural gas.

Specialists of the &ldquo;Ekerem&rdquo; drilling department also reported the successful completion of drilling on production well No. 87 at the Uzynada field. This well, with a design depth of 6,800 meters, has likewise produced an industrial hydrocarbon flow. Its current daily production exceeds 45 tons of gas condensate and 45,000 cubic meters of natural gas.

After technical adjustments were completed, the new productive wells were transferred for operation to the oil workers of the &ldquo;Gumdagnebit&rdquo; oil and gas production department of the &ldquo;Nebitgazchykarysh&rdquo; trust of the state concern &ldquo;Turkmennebit&rdquo;.

On December 1, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atakhalliyev and regional governors to discuss the development of the agricultural sector and the progress of work in the country&#39;s regions.

Toyguly Nurmyradov, Governor of the Ahal Region, reported that necessary measures are currently being taken to ensure a loss-free cotton harvest, down to the last boll. Furthermore, fields in the region are being plowing in preparation for next year&#39;s cotton planting. In wheat fields where uniform germination has been achieved, irrigation and mineral fertilizers are being applied.

Then, Balkan Velayat Governor Khodjamyrat Ashyrmyradov reported on the progress of the current agricultural campaigns in the region. As reported, work is currently underway to harvest the remaining cotton in the fields down to the last boll and prepare the land for the 2026 cotton sowing. Also, in the region, vegetation irrigation and mineral fertilizer application are being carried out on wheat-sown areas.

Then, Dashoguz Velayat Governor Dovletgeldi Babayev reported on the necessary measures being taken to harvest the cotton grown in the velayat without losses, using agricultural machinery efficiently. Furthermore, areas allocated for next year&#39;s cotton sowing are being ploughed and mineral fertilizer application is being carried out. Uniform germination has been achieved in the wheat fields.

Then, Durdy Gendzhiev, Governor of the Lebap Region, reported that work continues in the fields to harvest and deliver raw cotton to the state, as well as plowing the land cleared after the harvest and applying mineral fertilizers in preparation for next year&#39;s sowing.

Then, Dovranberdi Annaberdiev, Governor of the Mary Region, reported that appropriate measures are currently being implemented in the fields to harvest cotton down to the last boll. Particular attention is being paid to the efficient use of agricultural machinery. Plowing of agricultural land is underway to ensure a bountiful cotton harvest next year. Work is also underway to harvest sugar beets and ensure their uninterrupted transportation to receiving centers.

The hyakims also reported on the steps being taken in the regions to organize and conduct high-level celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of the country&#39;s permanent neutrality, and to ensure food abundance in markets and retail outlets during the holidays.

Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atakhalliyev then reported on the progress of the country&#39;s ongoing agricultural campaigns.

As noted, cotton harvesting is currently underway in the velayats, with the harvest continuing down to the last boll. Agricultural measures, including irrigation and mineral fertilizer application, are being implemented in wheat fields. At the same time, plowing is underway for the cotton crop next season. Appropriate measures are being taken to prepare the equipment that will be used in the agricultural campaigns in the coming year.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the role of agriculture in the national economy as a key sector ensuring food abundance in the country, as well as the need to develop this sector through diversification and the widespread adoption of advanced global practices. He gave the Deputy Prime Minister specific instructions in this regard.

Additionally, addressing the meeting participants, the head of state ordered that preparations be made for the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the country&#39;s permanent neutrality, that 24-hour security be organized at institutions and enterprises in the provinces during the holidays, and that markets and stores across the country be supplied with a variety of goods.

President of Turkmenistan held a meeting on the development of the country's agricultural sector

With the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the new livestock complex of the state-owned enterprise Altyn Halka was commissioned on December 1.

Upon arrival at the livestock complex, the head of state visited the administrative building, where he inspected the facilities. The administrative building offers all the necessary facilities for specialists to work effectively. The offices are equipped with the necessary equipment, including computers, and furniture that fully meets established requirements.

The head of state then went to the digital systems department of the administrative building.

A specialist briefed the President of Turkmenistan on the work being carried out there. It was noted that the department has created all the necessary conditions for monitoring work carried out on the complex&#39;s grounds and in the production buildings, as well as animal care, using a digital system.

Information about the cattle kept at the livestock complex is stored on special chips attached to the animals, which contain information about their breed, health status, daily milk yield, disease prevention measures, and other data.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atakhalliyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, reported on the operation of the new livestock complex of the state-owned enterprise &quot;Altyn Halka.&quot;

As noted, the complex, designed for modern management using a digital system, includes administration buildings, laboratories, a cafeteria, three buildings designed to house 500 cattle, two buildings for 200 calves, a milking parlor, a feeding area, and a covered feed warehouse. There are also veterinary and quarantine buildings, as well as auxiliary facilities for storing agricultural machinery, tools, and specialized vehicles.

The head of state also presented the head of the livestock complex with the keys to newly purchased equipment and vehicles.

These included powerful tractors, grain and forage harvesters from the American company John Deere, various types of agricultural machinery, as well as specialized vehicles and equipment, and passenger cars manufactured in the People&#39;s Republic of China and Japan, which boast high performance characteristics for the productive work of employees.

After inspecting the modernized livestock complex, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished everyone success in their work and departed the site.

A Turkmen delegation, led by Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldy Shamyradov, participated in the 42nd meeting of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), held on November 28, 2025, in Aktau.

Furthermore, the Permanent Council instructed the TURKSOY General Secretariat to prepare a draft document on the development and strengthening of the Organization in pursuance of the decision taken at the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States and submit it to the competent authorities of the member states for review. Final approval of the document is scheduled for the next Council meeting.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent neutrality, on November 26, 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Conference and Exhibition titled &ldquo;The Future of Digital Innovative Technologies and Their Implementation in the Science and Education System&rdquo; was held at the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev. The conference brought together professors and lecturers, researchers, postgraduate and master&rsquo;s students, and undergraduates from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad, as well as specialists from foreign companies, international organizations, and representatives of relevant ministries and sectoral administrative bodies of the country.

Approximately 1,500 scientists, specialists, and students from 22 countries participated in the conference, including China, the Russian Federation, Japan, Malaysia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Austria, Iran, Romania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Panama, Jordan, and Turkmenistan.

The main goal of this international forum was to study the directions of development of digital innovations, discuss opportunities for the integration of modern technologies into the science and education system, and promote international cooperation in the field of digitalization.

The conference work was organized into three main sections:

&middot; Digitalization and digital technologies in the education system

&middot; Cybersecurity and artificial intelligence

&middot; The role of the digital economy in achieving sustainable development goals

At the general session, more than 30 reports were presented, and over 120 scientific presentations were delivered in the sections. According to the participants, a rapid and dynamic development and implementation of digital innovative technologies in Turkmenistan&rsquo;s science and education system has been successfully carried out in a short period. This achievement became possible due to the adoption of global experience in integrating high technologies, software, and artificial intelligence into the educational system.

During the conference, it was noted that Turkmenistan is always ready to expand cooperation with foreign universities, companies, and research centers, as well as coordinate joint projects.

As emphasized by the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in accordance with the concept of the digital economy and within the framework of large-scale reforms, it is important to strengthen the interaction between science, education, and production. In this context, it is essential to create new professions and improve teaching methods in engineering, technical, and technological fields. The Academy of Sciences plays a key role in this process, and large-scale reforms are successfully implemented under the leadership of the esteemed President.

The development of the digital education system allows for the strengthening of the material and technical base of educational institutions, the improvement of education quality, and the preparation of specialists who meet the requirements of the labor market. These measures are aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the national economy and improving the well-being of the population.

To achieve the set goals, the appropriate infrastructure is being created. The &ldquo;State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy of Turkmenistan for 2021&ndash;2025&rdquo; aims at the digitalization of all sectors of the economy. The development of the digital education system and the related digital economy enables the preparation of every individual for life and professional activity.

The widespread use of digital technologies in the education system ensures the collection, processing, transfer, and storage of information. This increases the efficiency of the learning process, updates the content, methods, and assessment mechanisms of education.

The experience accumulated in Turkmenistan is of great significance not only at the national but also at the international level. The country&rsquo;s achievements attract the attention of international experts and are directly linked to the scientifically grounded, modern-oriented policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Development of digital technologies in Turkmenistan and their implementation in the science and education system

On December 1, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan introduced a new polymer 200 manat banknote, along with modified 1, 5, and 10 manat banknotes. This innovation marks the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&#39;s permanent neutrality.

The design of the 1, 5, and 10 manat banknotes remains largely unchanged, but has been supplemented with the emblem of the International Year of Peace and Trust. The new 200 manat banknote features an image of the Arkadag Monument on the front and the Arkadag City Hall on the back. All new banknotes bear the year of issue and a facsimile signature of the Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

The updated and new banknotes are mandatory for all types of payments throughout the country, regardless of the organization&#39;s ownership. At the same time, all previously issued Central Bank banknotes of 2009, 2012, 2014, 2017, and 2020 designations remain valid as legal tender.
