One of the industrial giants that contributed its labor achievements in honor of this holiday is the State Concern &ldquo;Turkmennebit.&rdquo;

This concern, one of the largest industrial and economic associations in the country, carries out extensive work in the exploration and industrial development of oil and gas fields throughout our great homeland. The activities of the concern&rsquo;s production units in the Balkan region are particularly important in implementing the objectives set forth in the &ldquo;Turkmenistan Oil and Gas Industry Development Program until 2030.&rdquo;

According to experts, among the leading enterprises, the &ldquo;Nebitgazburawlayysh&rdquo; trust of the concern stands out. Recently, the trust&rsquo;s labor collectives successfully completed drilling three wells at the Uzynada field in the Caspian coastal zone and put them into operation, which became a significant labor contribution to the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality.

Wells 72 and 86 of the &ldquo;Goturdepe&rdquo; Drilling Operations Department produce 44 and 43 tons of gas condensate per day, respectively, much to the satisfaction of the specialists. In addition, well 87 of the &ldquo;Ekerem&rdquo; Drilling Operations Department at the Uzynada field, with a design depth of 6,800 meters, produces over 45 tons of gas condensate per day. After technical and commissioning work, these productive wells were handed over to the oil workers of the &ldquo;Gumdagnebit&rdquo; Department of the &ldquo;Nebitgazchykarish&rdquo; trust.

It is noteworthy that modern ZJ70DB drilling rigs, purchased from the People&rsquo;s Republic of China at the initiative of the esteemed President, were used in the drilling process. This significantly increased the volume of extracted valuable raw materials and had a strong positive impact on the performance of the industry. The high pace of work strengthens specialists&rsquo; confidence that even greater achievements will be reached in the future.

On December 12, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, congratulated the nation on International Neutrality Day and on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent neutrality.

&ldquo;From the very first days of independence, having chosen a foreign policy course and a national path aimed at integration into the system of international relations, Turkmenistan, on December 12, 1995, with broad support from the international community and in accordance with a historic United Nations General Assembly Resolution, acquired the legal status of permanent neutrality. Large-Scale exhibition opens in Ashgabat in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality

A solemn ceremony was held in the capital of Turkmenistan to inaugurate the Monument to the 30th Anniversary of Neutrality and to raise the flags on the square in front of it. The ceremony featured a speech by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov.

In his address, the head of the foreign policy department expressed deep gratitude to all the delegations that arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the Forum of Peace and Trust, emphasizing that their presence reflects a shared commitment to the ideals of humanism and justice.

On November 10, the International Conference &ldquo;The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation on the Path to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals&rdquo; was held in the &ldquo;Avaza&rdquo; National Tourist Zone. Conference on the role of women in modern society held in “Avaza”

A large-scale exhibition of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s economic achievements, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country&rsquo;s permanent neutrality, will take place in Ashgabat on December 11 and 12.

The venue at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will showcase the capabilities of national industries, which will further stimulate entrepreneurship and deepen international cooperation.

Interested specialists from Turkmenistan&rsquo;s sectoral ministries and agencies, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), as well as foreign companies, are invited to participate in and attend the exhibition.

Large-Scale Exhibition of Turkmenistan’s economic achievements to be held in Ashgabat on December 11–12

On December 9, a ceremony was held in the National Tourist Zone &ldquo;Avaza&rdquo; to mark the opening of a branch of the Charity Fund named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which provides assistance to children in need of guardianship. The new branch of the Fund will serve as a coordination center for organizing charitable and cultural events, as well as medical consultations for children.

At the ceremony, Oguldzahan Atabaeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Charity Fund, spoke about the significance of this historic event. She expressed strong confidence that it would become a worthy gift for the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s neutrality, coinciding with the International Year of Peace and Trust. It was emphasized that peace and trust are the foundation of humanitarian values and the country&rsquo;s foreign policy activities.

Following this, Oguldzahan Atabaeva, to the enthusiastic applause of the audience, officially opened the facility by cutting the symbolic ribbon.

Participants of the event were introduced to the conditions created in the new modern building of the Fund&rsquo;s branch, which is equipped with advanced facilities. Opening of a Branch of the Turkmenistan Charity Fund in Avaza

The 116th Session of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Council opened in Geneva on December 8. The delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Chairman of the State Migration Service Dowran Bayramov, is taking part in the session.

In his speech, Dowran Bayramov outlined Turkmenistan&rsquo;s position on key issues of migration policy, emphasizing the need for coordinated international cooperation and a comprehensive approach to managing migration processes. He highlighted the importance of integrating global framework documents &mdash; including the 2030 Agenda and the Global Compacts on Migration and Refugees &mdash; into national development strategies.

The efforts of Turkmenistan aimed at modernizing its migration system were also presented, including the simplification of legal migration channels, improvement of entry and exit procedures, and ensuring equal social and labor rights for migrants.

On December 7, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a presentation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov&rsquo;s new book, &ldquo;Turkmenistan&rsquo;s Neutrality &ndash; A Bright Path of Peace and Trust.&rdquo; The new work by Arkadagly Hero Serdar has become a festive gift to the people on the occasion of the upcoming significant date, widely celebrated in the Homeland.

As noted by participants of the event, the work consists of nine chapters that pay particular attention to the milestones in the formation of Turkmen neutrality and the importance of our country&rsquo;s legal status&mdash;recognized three times by relevant UN General Assembly resolutions&mdash;for ensuring universal peace, security, and sustainable development.

It was highlighted that over the course of 30 years, Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent neutrality has achieved unique progress and has become an important instrument for ensuring regional and global stability. Speakers also emphasized that in recent years, the country&rsquo;s neutrality policy has been acknowledged as a reliable foundation for effective international cooperation that encompasses all aspects of modern life.

On December 7, a ceremony was held at the administration of the capital for the presentation of the Certificate confirming Ashgabat&rsquo;s inclusion in the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.

On December 4, Ashgabat was admitted to the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, along with 72 cities from 46 countries around the world. This decision recognized the high achievements of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s capital in the development of science and education, as well as in creating opportunities for lifelong learning for citizens of all ages.

Established in 2013 and currently encompassing 425 cities worldwide, the Global Network highly valued the special efforts and commitment of the new member cities to implement, at the local level, the right of people of all ages to education.

Ashgabat&rsquo;s admission to the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities is an important step in the international recognition of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s efforts to develop human capital and build a society focused on knowledge and innovation.

Independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan, successfully implementing its foreign policy based on the principles of its permanently neutral status, which has been recognized three times by the United Nations, continues to strengthen effective cooperation in the interests of universal well-being. Turkmenistan also actively promotes important initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and trust in the international arena through dialogue. Indeed, our permanent neutrality, the 30th anniversary of which is being widely celebrated, is an enduring and sacred value of our people&mdash;a doctrine that affirms peaceful life, friendship among nations, humanism, mutually beneficial cooperation, and development throughout the world.

As is well known, the proclamation by the UN General Assembly of the year 2025 as the &ldquo;International Year of Peace and Trust&rdquo; became a high recognition of our country&rsquo;s significant contribution to strengthening global peace, trust, and security. The fact that this remarkable year coincides with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the UN and the 30th anniversary of the recognition of our permanent neutrality carries profound significance. The neutrality status of Turkmenistan, based on the ancient humanitarian traditions and wise life principles of the Turkmen people, fully corresponds to the universal values that underlie the UN Charter. Today, Turkmen neutrality acts as a factor that positively influences the encouragement of cooperation between states and international organizations in addressing pressing global issues. It is also directed at promoting the successful implementation of the UN&rsquo;s objectives through multilateral cooperation.

Our country advances the philosophy of &ldquo;Dialogue is the guarantee of peace&rdquo; in interstate relations and diplomacy. Indeed, the culture of dialogue, and the readiness and ability to build relations on the principles of mutual respect and equality, are among the most important tools for ensuring peace and sustainable development today. From this perspective, our Homeland&rsquo;s attainment of permanent neutral status is a historic event of great importance. It demonstrates our country&rsquo;s unwavering commitment to a policy of peace, good-neighborliness, and cooperation with the world&rsquo;s nations for the benefit of universal prosperity, well-being, and development.

Turkmenistan, acting as the initiator of numerous important proposals on the international stage, makes a significant contribution to aligning them with the interests of the global community. The immense creative potential of neutrality, which forms the political, legal, and substantive foundation of all our country&rsquo;s initiatives, serves the benefit of all humankind. Thanks to the initiatives inspired by the wisdom of the Hero Arkadag and advanced by our Arkadagly Hero President, the prestige of Independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan continues to rise, while friendly relations with the countries of the world and international organizations steadily develop. In particular, the threefold recognition by the international community of the permanent neutrality status of independent Turkmenistan stands as a high appraisal of our neutral policy, which embodies the millennia-old historical experience, humanitarian principles, and culture of our people, and is aimed at ensuring peace and development in the world. In this regard, the International Day of Neutrality will be celebrated in our country on a grand scale with unforgettable festivities. This will once again demonstrate Turkmenistan&rsquo;s firm commitment to the principles of permanent neutrality and peacebuilding, as it pursues a benevolent foreign policy.

Neutrality of Turkmenistan – Great value for Humanity

On December 8, a meeting was held in Ashgabat between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Turkmenistan (with residence in Tashkent), Girts Jaunzems. At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador presented copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment to this responsible post, the Turkmen side expressed its readiness to provide the diplomat with comprehensive assistance and support in his activities aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Latvia in areas of mutual interest.

The diplomats confirmed their intention to continue constructive cooperation within international structures, above all the United Nations. The need to maintain regular contacts between the foreign policy agencies of the two countries was also noted.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for its hospitality and assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
