During the visit, the delegation of the International University for the Humanities and Development held talks with the leadership of the branch of Kent State University (USA) in Florence. The meeting continued the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in October 2024.

Within the framework of the State Program for Ensuring Cybersecurity of Turkmenistan for 2022&ndash;2025, approved by Resolution No. 2623 of the President of Turkmenistan dated March 2, 2022, important measures aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of specialists are being implemented in the country. A special place among these initiatives is occupied by the &ldquo;Cyber Competition&rdquo; in the field of information security.

Products of State Concern “Türkmennebit” are at the trade exchange in Turkmenistan

Guided by the specific tasks set by the esteemed President to develop the nation&rsquo;s oil and gas industry, local workers of the Nebitdag Drilling Operations Directorate of the Trust under the State Concern &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; have presented a worthy labor gift to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

Throughout this landmark year, drillers have successfully completed the drilling of a total of nine productive wells. During this period, exploration specialists reached an aggregate drilling depth of 24,814 meters.

Recently, a team led by Dovletmyrat Gulamsoyunov, Head of the Drilling Department, successfully completed the drilling of Well No. 965 at the Nebitdag field. The design depth of this well&mdash;2,400 meters&mdash;yielded a commercial inflow of &ldquo;black gold&rdquo; from a reservoir at a depth of 2,235 meters. Following technical operations, the new oil well was brought into operation by oil workers of the Gumdagnebit Oil and Gas Production Enterprise. The well is currently producing 50 tons of crude oil per day.

In addition, a drilling team headed by Ezigeldi Hangeldiyev worked diligently to reach the productive reservoir of Well No. 1847 at the Goturdepe field. As a result, the well is now producing 15 tons of crude oil per day. This stands as a worthy labor contribution by the drillers to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

Participants also noted that previous meetings held in Seoul in September 2023 and in Ashgabat in October 2024 clearly demonstrated the relevance and demand for this format of inter-parliamentary interaction.

Following the meeting, a Joint Declaration of the Third Meeting of the Heads of Parliaments of Central Asian States and the Republic of Korea was adopted.

Turkmenistan Participates in the Third Meeting of the Heads of Parliaments of Central Asian States and the Republic of Korea

High-level participants of the International Forum of Peace and Trust in Ashgabat&mdash;heads of state and government&mdash;welcomed the work of the Group of Friends of Neutrality for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development, as well as the application of the principles of neutrality in conflict prevention and in addressing humanitarian issues. This is stated in the Ashgabat Declaration adopted following the forum.

&ldquo;Welcoming the establishment and continued activities of the Group of Friends of Neutrality for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development&mdash;an informal group initiated by Turkmenistan in August 2020 and operating on the basis of the Final Declaration of the first Ministerial Meeting of the Group as a mechanism for maintaining broad multilateral dialogue on the practical application of the principles of neutrality in conflict prevention, the elimination of their root causes and consequences, the resolution of humanitarian problems, and the promotion of neutrality in international relations,&rdquo; the Ashgabat Declaration reads.

At the same time, special emphasis was placed on the fact that 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent neutrality, which has become an example of a constructive and peace-loving foreign policy that contributes to strengthening trust and cooperation among nations.

The International Forum of Peace and Trust, dedicated to the International Year for Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, was held in Ashgabat on December 12.

Turkmenistan’s Efforts in Conflict Prevention and Addressing Root Causes Based on the Principles of Neutrality Welcomed

On December 16, a ceremony was held at the Center of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmen alaba&yacute; itleri&rdquo; to present the Certificate confirming the inclusion of the national nomination &laquo;The Art of breeding the Turkmen alabay&raquo; in UNESCO&#39; s Representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The ceremony was preceded by presentations on the activities of the International Association &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmen alaba&yacute; itleri,&rdquo; as well as on state policy aimed at improving and preserving the purity of the breed. During the event marking this significant occasion, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Tanryguly Atahalyyev delivered a speech in which, on behalf of the ceremony&rsquo;s participants, he expressed gratitude to the Head of State and the Hero-Arkadag for the measures taken at the state level that contribute to the recognition of national values by authoritative international organizations.

The certificate, affirming the place of Turkmen alabays in the world, enhanced the sense of pride and joy of our people in their national heritage.

Following the speeches, those gathered adopted an Address to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which they, in particular, expressed sincere appreciation for the successful implementation, under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, of the initiatives put forward by the Hero-Arkadag to promote our national values.

UNESCO Certificate on the Art of Breeding the Turkmen Alabay presented in Ashgabat

On December 16, a meeting of the Turkmen&ndash;Austrian Friendship Group was held at the &ldquo;&Yacute;yldyz&rdquo; Hotel, during which the results of the work carried out over the current year were summed up.

During the meeting, a number of key issues aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding the activities of the Friendship Group were reviewed and discussed.

The main discussions focused on the development of mutually beneficial economic partnership and the further strengthening of bilateral relations, including through cultural diplomacy.

The meeting also considered other promising projects for 2026 and reviewed wishes and proposals aimed at intensifying the activities of the Friendship Group and engaging leading Turkmen companies in joint efforts.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s neutrality and the 17th anniversary of the Turkmen&ndash;Austrian Friendship Group, the contributions of several members of the Friendship Group were recognized for their significant input into the development of economic and business projects between the two countries, as well as for many years of productive work.
