Diplomatic evening in Moscow celebrates Turkmenistan’s Neutrality

On October 17, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Galymzhan Koishybayev.

The guest emphasized that Kazakhstan highly values the traditionally friendly relations with Turkmenistan, whose foreign policy is based on the status of permanent neutrality and plays a significant role in strengthening peace and sustainable development in the region.

The parties noted that trade and economic partnership holds a special place in the agenda of interstate dialogue. Days of Turkmenistan’s economy to be held in Germany

On October 17, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported on the draft &quot;Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026&ndash;2052&quot; and the Resolution approving it.

Turkmenistan Approves New Strategy for Higher Professional Education until 2052

Avaza Political Declaration was adopted as a UN General Assembly Resolution

The Fourth Meeting of the Strategic Advisory Council "Turkmenistan – UN" Held in Ashgabat

The organizing committee of one of the region&#39;s most prestigious international energy forums &mdash; the 30th International Conference and Exhibition &ldquo;Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan &ndash; 2025&rdquo; (OGT 2025) &mdash; has announced that China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) will act as the platinum sponsor of the anniversary event, scheduled to take place in Ashgabat from October 22 to 24, 2025.

Conference Held in Beijing to Mark the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality

On October 3, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a Cabinet of Ministers meeting via digital communication. During the session, the results of Turkmenistan&#39;s socio-economic development for January&ndash;September of this year were discussed, including progress in the oil and gas sector.

The reporting period revealed significant achievements in the country&rsquo;s energy sector. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov presented a detailed report on the activities of the state concern &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; and oil refining enterprises. It was noted that in the first nine months of the year, &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; fulfilled its oil production plan by 109.7%. For oil refineries, the figure reached 109.4%. Gasoline production met 108.8% of the plan, diesel fuel &ndash; 101%, lubricants &ndash; 100%, and the production of natural and associated gas &ndash; 103.1%.

Steady growth was also recorded in the production of high-quality products such as polypropylene and liquefied gas, and in the export of natural gas abroad. These figures indicate the effective use of production capacities in the oil and gas sector, modernization of its technological base, and the strengthening of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s position in the international energy market.

After hearing the report, the President emphasized the need to further enhance the efficiency of production capacities, integrate new technologies, and broadly utilize digital systems. On October 14, a meeting took place in Ethiopia between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Mekan Ishanguliyev, and the Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mohamed El-Amine Souef. On October 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a mineral fertilizer production complex at the S.A. Niyazov Chemical Plant in Turkmenabat.

The project for the new mineral fertilizer production complex at the S.A. Niyazov Chemical Plant of the T&uuml;rkmenhimi&yacute;a State Concern is being implemented by the Korean company Daewoo Engineering &amp; Construction Co., Ltd. The new complex will produce 350,000 tons of superphosphate and 100,000 tons of ammonium sulfate per year. The commissioning of the complex will significantly increase the capacity of the country&#39;s chemical industry.

Under the wise leadership of the head of state, Turkmenistan&#39;s chemical industry is rapidly developing and becoming an important part of the national economic diversification strategy. The country&#39;s vast natural resources allow the industry to supply itself with raw materials.
