In Ashgabat, yesterday, on September 25, a solemn ceremony of awarding creative workers awarded honorary titles of Turkmenistan and the winners of the competition of the President of Turkmenistan &quot;T&uuml;rkmeniń Altyn asyry&quot; among literary, cultural and artistic figures, young performers and gifted children took place.

The audience listened with great enthusiasm to the Address of the President of Turkmenistan addressed to creative workers on the occasion of awarding them state awards and awarding a prestigious award to the winners of the &quot;T&uuml;rkmeniń Altyn asyry&quot; competition.

In his message, the Head of State congratulated the laureates on the current event and the upcoming holiday &ndash; the 33rd anniversary of independence of neutral Turkmenistan, emphasizing the role of their activities in the spiritual life of society, the development of national traditions, the preservation and popularization of historical and cultural heritage, in increasing the glory of their native Fatherland and strengthening friendly relations with the peoples of the world.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of further development of Turkmen culture, art and literature in accordance with the requirements of the time of the &quot;Turkmeni Altyn asyry&quot; competition held in our country, in which cultural and artistic figures took part with their creative works.

Then the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on awarding state awards and the Decree on awarding the winners of the national competition &quot;Turkmeniń Altyn asyry&quot; were read out.

Heads of creative teams, poets and novelists, singers and musicians, masters of fine arts, media representatives expressed deep gratitude to the head of state for creating all conditions for full-fledged creative activity and professional growth.

As the laureates of the competition noted, they perceive this award not only as a high honor and responsibility, but also as another evidence of the creative and unifying role of art.
