Conference Held in Beijing to Mark the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality

On October 3, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a Cabinet of Ministers meeting via digital communication. During the session, the results of Turkmenistan&#39;s socio-economic development for January&ndash;September of this year were discussed, including progress in the oil and gas sector.

The reporting period revealed significant achievements in the country&rsquo;s energy sector. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov presented a detailed report on the activities of the state concern &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; and oil refining enterprises. It was noted that in the first nine months of the year, &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; fulfilled its oil production plan by 109.7%. For oil refineries, the figure reached 109.4%. Gasoline production met 108.8% of the plan, diesel fuel &ndash; 101%, lubricants &ndash; 100%, and the production of natural and associated gas &ndash; 103.1%.

Steady growth was also recorded in the production of high-quality products such as polypropylene and liquefied gas, and in the export of natural gas abroad. These figures indicate the effective use of production capacities in the oil and gas sector, modernization of its technological base, and the strengthening of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s position in the international energy market.

After hearing the report, the President emphasized the need to further enhance the efficiency of production capacities, integrate new technologies, and broadly utilize digital systems. He outlined clear tasks for discovering new hydrocarbon reserves using modern technologies and for developing new methods of processing oil and natural gas.

Additionally, specific instructions were given to expand export routes of the gas industry and develop cooperation with foreign partners. These directives aim to ensure the continued stable development of the energy sector, which is a key pillar of Turkmenistan&#39;s economic growth.

As is well known, extensive geological exploration is currently underway in the country, new fields are being developed, and effective cooperation with international companies is being established. Ongoing work at major gas fields such as &ldquo;Galkynysh,&rdquo; &ldquo;Bagtyyarlyk,&rdquo; and &ldquo;Yashlar&rdquo; contributes to the growth of gas exports and further enhances Turkmenistan&rsquo;s reputation in the global energy market.

On October 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a mineral fertilizer production complex at the S.A. Niyazov Chemical Plant in Turkmenabat.

The project for the new mineral fertilizer production complex at the S.A. Niyazov Chemical Plant of the T&uuml;rkmenhimi&yacute;a State Concern is being implemented by the Korean company Daewoo Engineering &amp; Construction Co., Ltd. The new complex will produce 350,000 tons of superphosphate and 100,000 tons of ammonium sulfate per year. The commissioning of the complex will significantly increase the capacity of the country&#39;s chemical industry.

The closing ceremony of the World Expo 2025 was held in Osaka on October 13. The Turkmen delegation was led by Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Nazar Agakhanov.

Consequently, the capacity of hydrocarbon processing plants is being expanded.

These enterprises are being modernized using innovative technologies and are fully equipped with technical and technological equipment. The following oil and gas fields are currently located in the regions: Galkynysh, Dovletabad, Malay, 10 Years of Independence, Bagadzha, Gazlydepe, Korpedzhe, Nebitlije, Akpatlavuk, and Chekishler. In the future, to further increase production in this sector, plans are underway to develop new fields, reconstruct existing fields, and identify promising oil and gas deposits.

In our country, the Turkmennebit State Concern is carrying out important work in the production and use of oil. This &quot;black gold,&quot; one of our national treasures, is produced at such oil-rich fields as Uzynada, Barsagelmez, Northern Goturdepe, Gamyshlydzha, Keymir, and Altyguy. Furthermore, in addition to onshore production, existing fields in the Turkmen section of the Caspian Sea are being effectively developed. Turkmenistan plans to develop new oil and gas fields

Last week, 14 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Turkish entrepreneurs used foreign currency to purchase urea produced at the processing facilities of the T&uuml;rkmenhimi&yacute;a State Commodity Exchange.

Portland cement, uluk, and raw fabric were also sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries included Turkey, Singapore, and Azerbaijan. The total value of the transactions exceeded $6.5 million.

Equestrian competitions also allow riders to demonstrate their skills and bravery. Along with this, great importance is attached to the training of highly qualified specialists, in particular, the establishment of the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annaev in the city of Arkadag gives a new impetus to the development of the profile industry, multiplies the glory of Akhal-Teke horses.

Special training centers are also being created to train jockeys and professionals to train horses for horse racing. The Ashgabat Equestrian Complex with an open arena, which is designed for show jumping competitions, provides significant assistance in the development of equestrian sports in the country. In addition, the state takes care of improving the life and working conditions of industry workers.

Domestic horse breeders are doing everything possible to preserve the purity of the breed of Akhal-Teke horses and increase their livestock. Work is being intensified on the development of horse breeding and equestrian sports in the independent Homeland, the exchange of useful practical experience and constructive cooperation with foreign countries. The Chairman of the Mejlis, members of the Government, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and sectoral departments, public organizations, mass media, elders and youth gathered here. Among the participants of the celebrations are the heads of diplomatic missions and missions accredited in our country, as well as foreign guests.

Everyone is very enthusiastic to welcome President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who has arrived at the Akhal-Teke International Equestrian Complex.

Vernissages of works of national decorative and applied arts, folk crafts, paintings are deployed on the territory of the complex. Artists and sculptors presented their works at the exhibition. Proud horses are depicted on paintings, in metal and stone, other materials and in original publishing projects.

The bright color inherent in the real Turkmen toy was brought to the palette of the holiday by inspired performances of artists and creative collectives, as well as an ensemble of bakhshi musicians who demonstrated virtuoso skills of playing the dutar, and the demonstration competition in goresh wrestling reflected the continuity of national traditions.

Artists of folklore and dance ensembles performed in front of the main building of the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex with a festive musical dedication. The inspiring chord of the holiday was the song &quot;Bedewim&quot;.

The traditions of Turkmen horse breeding, the effectiveness of which has been tested for centuries, the national horse training school attract the most interested attention of professionals. After all, the Turkmens were not only able to present to the world such a work of the highest art of national breeders as the Akhal-Teke steed, but also to preserve the thoroughbred blood of these priceless horses.

In total, seven races were held at various distances, each of which was attended by 12 horses who demonstrated their best athletic qualities.

Three-year-old racehorses competed in the first three races at a distance of 1600 meters.

In the opening race, the best result of 1 minute 52.1 seconds was shown by the horse Gonubek, owned by the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan and driven by jockey S.Charyev.

In the second race, Gulbakhar, a dark brown Arch horse belonging to the B&auml;herden horse farm of the State Concern T&uuml;rkmengaz, with a rider Ya, came first to the finish line.Saparov overcame the distance in 1 minute 51.6 seconds.

In the third race, the best result &ndash; 1 minute 53 seconds &ndash; was demonstrated by the beautiful bay Dorsekil, owned by the agency &quot;T&uuml;rkmenaragatnaşyk&quot; and driven by the rider O.Yalkabov.

The remaining races were contested by racehorses aged four years and older.

The leader of the fourth race at a distance of 1600 meters was the bay horse Biasleshik, belonging to the Ministry of National Security of Turkmenistan, with a result of 1 minute 50.9 seconds. Jockey &ndash; K.Ovezov.

In the fifth race at a distance of 1800 meters, Dagbedev&#39;s horse, belonging to the Akhal&ndash;Teke equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan, jockey T.Babayev, finished first. The time is 2 minutes 03.3 seconds.

In the sixth race for a similar distance, the bay horse Dayanjim, owned by the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan and managed by jockey B.Bajamov, became the best. The winner&#39;s result is 2 minutes 05.5 seconds.

In the final, seventh race for the same distance, there was a struggle for the main prize, established by the President of Turkmenistan. The first to finish with a score of 2 minutes 06.8 seconds was the salt-colored horse Bezirgen, belonging to the Ahal-Teke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan.
