On April 17, 2025, within the framework of the proclamation of 2025 as the &ldquo;International Year of Peace and Trust&rdquo; and in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&#39;s permanent neutrality, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic organized a round table at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn.

The event was attended by teachers and students of this university, as well as scientists from the University of the Republic of Turkey, who participated via video conference.

During the round table, the significance of the proclamation of 2025 as the &quot;International Year of Peace and Trust&quot; on the initiative of Turkmenistan was presented. A round table dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust was organized in Bishkek

During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on April 18, Cabinet Deputy Chairman H. Geldimyradov reported on the preparations for the first Ministerial Forum on Sustainable Development of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), which is scheduled to be held in April this year in Arkadag city.

As reported, the upcoming event is expected to be attended by heads and representatives of government agencies of the ECO member states, international structures, diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as ministries and industry departments of our country.

The main goal of the forum is to promote partnership in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the ECO region. The event will consider ways to address the SDGs. It is also planned to discuss a comprehensive and sustainable strategy for identifying priority areas of interaction. Based on the results of the meeting, it is planned to adopt the Final Document.

In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches particular importance to the development of relations with the Economic Cooperation Organization. Arkadag to host the first Ministerial Forum on Sustainable Development of the ECO

On April 18, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Prime Minister N.Atagulyev reported on preparations for holding the International trade and services exhibition-fair and the international conference &ldquo;Ensuring Quality in Turkmenistan that Meets International Standards&rdquo; at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from April 29 to May 1 of this year.

As reported, the upcoming event is planned to involve enterprises of the trade complex, relevant ministries and industry departments, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country, as well as foreign companies and organizations. Within the framework of the exhibition, it is planned to organize consultative meetings with the participation of international experts, business consultations on such issues as export development, digital marketing, certification requirements.

On April 17, 2025, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Bashimova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov.

A meeting with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

With the participation of representatives of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation in the Astrakhan Museum-Reserve was held a round table dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust.

President of Turkmenistan Receives Newly Appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Less than a week remains until the opening of the Turkmenistan International Investment Forum TEIF 2025, which will be held on 23-24 April 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to the TEIF 2025 Organizing Committee, registration for the upcoming forum is now closed. In total, more than 355 delegates from 42 countries have been registered.

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), located in the heart of Malaysia&rsquo;s bustling capital, has been selected as the prestigious venue for the upcoming forum.

At this time, applications for individual meetings with key representatives of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s government agencies have also closed. A significant level of interest was registered from the international business community during the application period, demonstrating a keen desire to directly engage with government officials of Turkmenistan. Applications were received from companies across a range of sectors, all seeking to explore the country&rsquo;s investment climate, discuss potential ventures and establish business connections.

Kuala Lumpur gears up to host TEIF 2025

On April 15-16, 2025, a delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs A. Gurbanov was on a working visit to the State of Kuwait to participate in the third ministerial meeting of the Central Asia-Gulf Cooperation Council (CA-GCC) Strategic Dialogue held in Kuwait city.

The meeting was attended by the leadership of foreign ministries of Central Asian countries and six countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council - the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the meeting, the sides discussed deepening of partnership in various spheres and the need to further expand mutually beneficial ties. During the visit of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to Japan, a Framework Agreement was signed on the construction of a new large-scale production facility. The document provides for cooperation in the design, procurement, and turnkey construction of a urea plant in the town of Kiyanly.

The agreement was concluded between the State Concern &quot;T&uuml;rkmenhimi&yacute;a&quot;, the Japanese companies &quot;Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.&quot; and &quot;Mitsubishi Corporation&quot;, as well as the Turkish company &quot;Gap Inşaat Yatirim ve Diş Ticaret Anonim Şirketi&quot;.

According to the document, the production capacity of the new enterprise will amount to 1,155,000 tons of urea per year. The plant will be built in the town of Kiyanly in the Balkan province of Turkmenistan.

Национальный Лидер туркменского народа, Председатель Халк Маслахаты Туркменистана Гурбангулы Бердымухамедов совершил рабочую поездку в город Аркадаг, где провёл рабочее совещание с участием вице-президента Благотворительного фонда по оказанию помощи нуждающимся в опеке детям имени Гурбангулы Бердымухамедова. A Meeting with Representatives of Japan’s Business Community Held in Tokyo

On April 11, 2025, at the 63rd plenary meeting of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York (USA), the Resolution &ldquo;Additional information on the modalities of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries&rdquo; was unanimously adopted. Accordingly, the General Assembly decided to hold an international conference from August 5 to 8 this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

This fact is further evidence of the recognition by the world community of the initiatives put forward by Turkmenistan and their historical significance in the international arena.

The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution “Additional information on the modalities for holding the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries”

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as part of his visit to Japan, took part in the ceremonial events dedicated to the National Day of Turkmenistan at the World Expo 2025.

Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, our Homeland successfully implements a foreign policy strategy based on the principles of positive neutrality, peacefulness, good neighborliness and equal cooperation at the regional and global levels. In this context, great importance is attached to the expansion and development of trade and economic ties with countries of the world. A clear confirmation of this is the participation of our country in the EXPO 2025 exhibition.

World Expos are unique international events that bring together countries, companies and organizations to demonstrate their achievements, technologies and cultures. The first World Exhibition was held in London in 1851 and since then EXPO exhibitions have served as an effective platform for exchanging experiences and presenting achievements.

Turkmenistan is one of the first countries at this World Forum to hold a National Day, which is accompanied by vibrant events.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated those gathered on the opening of the National Day of Turkmenistan at the World Expo 2025.

Our country&#39;s pavilion is designed in the shape of a rounded triangle and symbolizes renewal and sustainable development. The roof of the building is framed by &quot;G&uuml;l&yacute;aka&quot;, one of the ancient women&#39;s jewelry of the Turkmen people, and the exterior design is embodied as an inspiration of the Karakum Desert. The exterior decoration of the building uses motifs of Turkmen carpets, an image of the world-famous Akhalteke horse, as well as beautiful images of our beautiful nature.

The National Pavilion of Turkmenistan is a place where ancient traditions and modernity intertwine, attracting the attention of guests with its magnificent views. While the carpet g&ouml;ls tell the glorious story of brave ancestors, the flowers of the Karakum desert reflect the beauty and diversity of Turkmen nature. It should be noted that environmentally friendly building materials were used in the construction of the national pavilion.
