Guided by the specific tasks set by the esteemed President to develop the nation&rsquo;s oil and gas industry, local workers of the Nebitdag Drilling Operations Directorate of the Trust under the State Concern &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; have presented a worthy labor gift to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

Throughout this landmark year, drillers have successfully completed the drilling of a total of nine productive wells. During this period, exploration specialists reached an aggregate drilling depth of 24,814 meters.

Recently, a team led by Dovletmyrat Gulamsoyunov, Head of the Drilling Department, successfully completed the drilling of Well No. 965 at the Nebitdag field. The design depth of this well&mdash;2,400 meters&mdash;yielded a commercial inflow of &ldquo;black gold&rdquo; from a reservoir at a depth of 2,235 meters. Following technical operations, the new oil well was brought into operation by oil workers of the Gumdagnebit Oil and Gas Production Enterprise. The well is currently producing 50 tons of crude oil per day.

In addition, a drilling team headed by Ezigeldi Hangeldiyev worked diligently to reach the productive reservoir of Well No. 1847 at the Goturdepe field. As a result, the well is now producing 15 tons of crude oil per day. This stands as a worthy labor contribution by the drillers to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

President of Turkmenistan Congratulates Emir of Qatar on the Country’s National Day

On December 17, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov departed for Japan on a working visit to participate in the first &ldquo;Central Asia + Japan&rdquo; Dialogue Summit. He was seen off at the international airport of the capital by government officials.

Deals Concluded at Wednesday’s Exchange Trading for the Sale of Products of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”

The Third Meeting of the Heads of Parliaments of Central Asian States and the Republic of Korea was held in Tashkent on December 16. Turkmenistan was represented at the meeting by officials from its Embassy in Uzbekistan.

During the event, participants exchanged views on pressing issues related to the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue and the expansion of multilateral cooperation between Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea.

Plenary sessions and thematic discussions focused on deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation in areas such as social justice, environmental protection, climate change mitigation, sustainable use of natural resources, and the improvement of environmental legislation.

Day of Oil, Gas Industry, and Geology workers was celebrated with great ceremony in Balkan Province

On December 15, on the eve of the New Year, a ceremonial lighting of the country&rsquo;s Main New Year tree took place in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.

In accordance with a long-standing tradition, the square in front of the &ldquo;&Auml;lem&rdquo; Cultural and Recreation Center, located at the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains, was chosen as the main venue for the celebrations. A tall New Year tree was installed there, surrounded by splendid decorative designs symbolizing the festive spirit.

The event was attended by residents and guests of the capital, folklore and dance groups, circus and theater performers, as well as fairy-tale characters. The most impressive moment of the celebration was the lighting of the Main New Year tree with the help of Ayaz Baba&rsquo;s magical staff.

Lights of the Main New Year tree were lit in Turkmenistan

On December 15, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov presented awards at the Martial Arts Sports Complex of the Ashgabat Olympic Village to young people who won prize places at international academic competitions and world-class sports tournaments, as well as to their mentor teachers and coaches.

Hero Arkadag congratulates the President of Turkmenistan on the inclusion of the tradition of breeding alabay dogs in the UNESCO List

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, delivered a speech at the International Forum in Ashgabat dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

In his address, Hero Arkadag emphasized the need for constructive mobilization of potential, political maturity, will, and principled commitment on the part of the entire international community. The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that all states, regardless of their political systems, size, or other factors, today bear responsibility for the future of our planet.

According to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the key mechanism for such unity is the potential of the United Nations.

Hero Arkadag stated that the capabilities of the UN must be utilized as the only international organization possessing universal legitimacy and a mandate. Cooperation on the platform of Peace and Trust presupposes the existence of recognized political and legal foundations, as well as clear and well-defined principles enshrined in the UN Charter&mdash;equality, mutual respect, and non-interference in sovereign affairs.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people stressed that adherence to these principles is the guarantee of preserving peace and predictability and provides an opportunity to rebuild the foundations of civilized communication with one another.

In addition, Hero Arkadag stated that people&rsquo;s diplomacy should become an important support for official diplomacy.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan emphasized that at present, in promoting the concept of Peace and Trust, alongside traditional diplomacy, it is necessary to engage inter-parliamentary channels of communication, as well as women&rsquo;s and youth diplomacy.

&ldquo;Our country is doing much in this regard. Over the past few years alone, Turkmenistan has hosted a number of major events of this orientation, including representative international and regional forums. At the same time, we proceed from the understanding that people&rsquo;s diplomacy can and should become an important support for official diplomacy, possessing additional levers of influence on political decision-making,&rdquo; said the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also called on the distinguished audience of the forum to use the media exclusively for constructive purposes.

&ldquo;Information dialogue also plays a crucial role in establishing respectful and constructive interstate relations. We view it as an important component of our Peace and Trust initiative, as well as the global formula put forward by Turkmenistan several years ago: dialogue is a guarantee of peace. Mass media must be used exclusively for constructive purposes,&rdquo; stated the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty.

National Leader of the Turkmen People voiced a number of important initiatives at the International Forum in Ashgabat

On December 14, Turkmenistan solemnly celebrated the Day of Oil, Gas, and Geology Workers. On this occasion, a conference titled &ldquo;Achievements in the Oil and Gas Sector in the Year of International Peace and Trust&rdquo; was held in the conference hall of the main building of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s oil and gas complex.

The forum, dedicated to the professional holiday celebrated after International Neutrality Day, began with the reading of a congratulatory message from the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, addressed to the workers of independent and neutral Turkmenistan in the oil, gas, and geological sectors. The message emphasized that, thanks to the diligent and purposeful work of oil workers, gas specialists, and geologists, significant achievements have been reached in the industry, and the ongoing comprehensive efforts contribute to strengthening the country&rsquo;s position among the world&rsquo;s leading states in terms of hydrocarbon resources.

It was also noted that the implementation of major international projects is aimed at ensuring that the nation&rsquo;s hydrocarbon wealth primarily serves the welfare of the people, improves the lives of future generations, and benefits neighboring countries. One of the priority tasks of the state&rsquo;s energy policy is to diversify the sector&rsquo;s export capacities and create multipurpose pipeline systems. These measures are intended to strengthen energy security, support regional well-being, and promote economically stable development. The conference participants listened to the President&rsquo;s congratulatory message with great enthusiasm.

Following this, the floor was given to conference guests and employees of the oil and gas complex. The speakers highlighted that, thanks to the efforts of Hero Arkadag, the Turkmenistan&ndash;China international gas pipeline was inaugurated on December 14, 2009, and that this historic day holds deep significance as the Day of Oil, Gas, and Geology Workers. They also noted significant achievements in the sector, including the discovery of new oil and gas fields across the country, the Turkmenistan&ndash;China and East&ndash;West pipelines, and the construction of the Turkmenistan&ndash;Afghanistan&ndash;Pakistan&ndash;India international gas pipeline. In the International Year of Peace and Trust, it was emphasized that the blessing of esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedow for the construction of the Serhetabat&ndash;Herat pipeline, a crucial part of this major project, contributes to the long-term development of the countries involved and ensures sustainable regional growth.

The speeches also highlighted that, in accordance with national programs, comprehensive measures are being implemented to increase production volumes in the oil and gas sector. Regular extraction from hydrocarbon wells and efficient development of fields demonstrate that work is progressing at a high pace. At the same time, it was emphasized that environmental protection, adherence to high ecological standards, and mitigation of climate change impacts remain important tasks in the extraction, processing, and delivery of hydrocarbon resources to consumers.

During the conference, workers of the oil, gas, and geology sectors were presented with valuable gifts on behalf of the President for their outstanding work. Winners of industry competitions were also awarded.

At the conclusion of the event, participants adopted an address to President Serdar Berdimuhamedow.

Subsequently, a festive concert was held at the Cultural and Business Center of the oil and gas complex, where the country&rsquo;s artists created a special atmosphere of joy and celebration with their performances.

On October 5, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country&#39;s Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda included the results of the work of military and law enforcement agencies in January&ndash;September of this year, issues of ensuring security and peace in independent Turkmenistan, strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, and further improving their activities.

The first speaker was the Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdiyev, who reported on the work carried out during the period under review in subordinate structures, practical steps being taken to strengthen the country&#39;s defense capability, and improve the professionalism of the Armed Forces officers. There was also a report on the conditions created for fruitful activities and everyday life of military personnel, the course of retirement from the Armed Forces and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service.

The Secretary of the State Security Council, the Minister of Defense also reported on the results of the military parade held in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Motherland. At the same time, it was reported that during the designated period, with the participation of the head of Turkmenistan, the grand opening of a new complex of buildings of the Berdimuhamed Annayev Specialized Military School of the Ministry of Defense took place, where all conditions are available for training the younger generation of defenders of the Fatherland.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that one of the priority vectors of cardinal transformations implemented within the framework of the country&#39;s defensive Military doctrine is the improvement of the country&#39;s Armed Forces in accordance with the realities of the time and the modernization of the material and technical base of all branches of the armed forces. Speaking about the importance of patriotic education of young people serving in the military and law enforcement agencies, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country addressed a number of instructions to the Secretary of the State Security Council, the head of the defense Department.

Prosecutor General B.Muhamedov reported on the measures implemented in January&ndash;September of this year to monitor strict and accurate observance of the rule of law in all areas. There was also a report on the results of inspections conducted on behalf of the head of state, the implementation of the provisions of regulatory legal acts, the implementation of digital technologies and advanced methods in the activities of subordinate structures.

After hearing the report, the head of Turkmenistan stressed that work should be properly carried out to respect the rule of law and public order in the country, the rules of road and fire safety. Noting the importance of taking concrete measures to further strengthen the material and technical base of the structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed relevant instructions to the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Chairman of the Supreme Court B.Hodjamgulyev reported on the results of activities for the designated period, the implementation of the Development Program of the headed body, the conditions created for the fruitful service of judges. There was also a report on the fulfillment of the instructions of the head of Turkmenistan and on the opening of the modern building of the Karakum Etrap court of Mary Velayat.

After hearing the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country&#39;s Armed Forces emphasized the importance of ongoing reforms in this area. To successfully solve the tasks, innovative technologies should be actively applied, and the professional skills of employees should be constantly improved, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, instructing the head of the department to conduct explanatory events on the provisions of national legislation among the general public, employees of enterprises, institutions, organizations and the media.

The Minister of National Security, N. Atagarayev, who then spoke, reported on the work carried out since the beginning of the year in order to maintain a favorable public climate in the state. It was also reported on the measures being implemented to apply modern technical means and methods for the effective implementation of the main powers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Summarizing the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country&#39;s Armed Forces stressed that priority should be given to the implementation of an appropriate Development Program. Noting the importance of close cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, as well as strengthening human resources, the head of Turkmenistan gave the head of the Ministry a number of instructions.

Next, the head of the State Border Guard Service, Ya.Nuriyev reported on the results of activities during the period under review to ensure the inviolability of the sacred borders of the Fatherland, modernize the material and technical base of the Border Troops, and fulfill the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the need for reliable protection of the State border of our Motherland. Among the long-term plans, further improvement of the activities of border posts and the creation of appropriate conditions for the effective service of military personnel were identified. The head of the department was instructed to take appropriate measures to improve the professionalism of the officers.

Further, Minister Adalat M.Taganov reported on the practical steps taken in January&ndash;September this year to bring the national legislative framework in line with the realities of the time, raise legal awareness and provide appropriate legal assistance to Turkmen citizens.

Summarizing the report, the Head of state named the consistent implementation of a unified state policy in the field of rule-making and law enforcement practice among the key vectors of work. Emphasizing the importance of raising the legal awareness and legal culture of the population, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Minister to systematically carry out explanatory activities to prevent offenses and for every citizen to fully understand their rights and obligations.

Then the chairman of the State Customs Service M.Hudaikulyev reported on the results of activities for the first nine months of 2024 in order to optimize the growing cargo flow passing through the border of our Motherland.

Summarizing the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country&#39;s Armed Forces noted that due to the strengthening of the country&#39;s geostrategic role on the Eurasian continent as an important crossroads of transport and transit corridors, the volume of work of this department is growing. This, as emphasized, requires strict control over the observance of the procedure for the movement of goods across the customs border. In this regard, the head of the Service was instructed to keep the full compliance of the quality of imported products with the established requirements in the center of constant attention.

Further, the Chairman of the State Migration Service, A.Sazakov, reported on the comprehensive measures taken since the beginning of the year to successfully implement the Development Program of this structure. There was also a report on the progress of modernization of the material and technical base of the department through the introduction of a digital system and best practices in this area.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that in the modern era, an important duty of every employee of this body is to comprehensively contribute to strengthening the foundations of state sovereignty. Close attention should be paid to improving the work carried out through the active development of world experience in this field, improving the skills of employees, the head of Turkmenistan stressed, addressing the head of the Service with appropriate instructions.

Summing up the meeting, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country stated that according to the Military Doctrine of the Motherland, which is purely defensive in nature, measures are being taken to ensure the high level of security and integrity of an independent neutral Homeland. Strengthening the defense capability of a sovereign state, improving the social and living conditions of military personnel and their family members are issues that are given priority, the head of state continued, stating that work in this direction will continue.

A number of other issues were also considered at the meeting of the State Security Council, on which appropriate decisions were taken.
