Products of State Concern “Türkmennebit” are at the trade exchange in Turkmenistan

Guided by the specific tasks set by the esteemed President to develop the nation&rsquo;s oil and gas industry, local workers of the Nebitdag Drilling Operations Directorate of the Trust under the State Concern &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; have presented a worthy labor gift to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

Throughout this landmark year, drillers have successfully completed the drilling of a total of nine productive wells. During this period, exploration specialists reached an aggregate drilling depth of 24,814 meters.

Recently, a team led by Dovletmyrat Gulamsoyunov, Head of the Drilling Department, successfully completed the drilling of Well No. 965 at the Nebitdag field. The design depth of this well&mdash;2,400 meters&mdash;yielded a commercial inflow of &ldquo;black gold&rdquo; from a reservoir at a depth of 2,235 meters. Following technical operations, the new oil well was brought into operation by oil workers of the Gumdagnebit Oil and Gas Production Enterprise. The well is currently producing 50 tons of crude oil per day.

In addition, a drilling team headed by Ezigeldi Hangeldiyev worked diligently to reach the productive reservoir of Well No. 1847 at the Goturdepe field. As a result, the well is now producing 15 tons of crude oil per day. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, and to the people of Qatar on the occasion of their National Day.

In his message, the head of state noted his high appreciation for the multifaceted relations that have developed between Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar over the years and expressed confidence that this cooperation will continue to grow in the interests of the peoples of both countries.

President of Turkmenistan Congratulates Emir of Qatar on the Country’s National Day

On December 17, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov departed for Japan on a working visit to participate in the first &ldquo;Central Asia + Japan&rdquo; Dialogue Summit. He was seen off at the international airport of the capital by government officials.

A few hours later, the presidential aircraft landed at Tokyo&rsquo;s Haneda International Airport, where the head of state received a warm welcome.

It is worth noting that this is the President of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s second visit to Japan this year. His first visit took place in April 2025, when President Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the ceremonial event marking Turkmenistan&rsquo;s National Day at the World Expo in Osaka. During that visit, a series of high-level bilateral meetings were also held. Notably, Turkmenistan&rsquo;s national pavilion at Expo 2025 was the first to open and became one of the most visited.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, congratulated the people of the country on the successful organization of international events marking the 30th anniversary of the Republic&rsquo;s permanent neutrality.

&ldquo;On December 12, during the International Year of Peace and Trust, we solemnly celebrated the 30th anniversary of our permanent neutrality. Permanent neutrality is the fundamental doctrine of our unity and well-being. Permanent Neutrality is our national treasure, honored with glory&mdash;a path of peace and trust.

Thanks to the unity of our happy nation, over the past thirty years significant historical measures have been implemented to substantially strengthen the foundations of permanent neutrality; colossal work has been carried out, and high achievements have been reached for the sake of our bright present and future.

Of course, we must not forget that behind all this stand our love for the Motherland and conscientious labor,&rdquo; emphasized Hero Arkadag.

&ldquo;In the International Year of Peace and Trust, during the Era of Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State in our Homeland, significant successes have been achieved. The status of permanent neutrality of our Homeland has been recognized by the United Nations for the third time, which has enhanced the significance of the current year, when we celebrate the glorious 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality.

The unanimous adoption, on Turkmenistan&rsquo;s initiative, of the UN General Assembly Resolution declaring &lsquo;2025 &ndash; International Year of Peace and Trust&rsquo; became one of the events that greatly multiplied the glory of our state,&rdquo; noted the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty.

On 4 October, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with a delegation of the European Commission headed by Dietmar Crissler, Head of the Central Asia Division of the European External Action Service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting a wide range of issues on further development of co-operation between Turkmenistan and the EU were discussed. They also discussed issues of cooperation in the format &quot;Central Asia-European Union&quot;. The sides noted the effectiveness of the EU projects implemented by Turkmenistan in key areas.

Cooperation on regional security and development, climate issues, environmental protection, &lsquo;green&rsquo; and digital transformation, cooperation in energy and transport and logistics sectors were identified as priority areas.

Referring to the creation of new transport corridors, the interlocutors stressed that the launch of the Trans-Caspian Transport Crossings Coordination Platform will contribute to sustainable economic and social development of the region.
