On April 25, during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported on the ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

It is proposed that a Turkmen delegation participate in the 51st Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, scheduled to take place on June 20&ndash;21 this year in the city of Istanbul, Republic of T&uuml;rkiye. Within the framework of this session, Turkmenistan has initiated the adoption of a resolution titled &ldquo;The Role of the Policy of Neutrality in Strengthening International Peace, Security and Sustainable Development in OIC Member States and Around the World.&rdquo;

Additionally, in connection with the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, it was proposed to organize a conference on the topic of peace as part of the upcoming OIC session.

President of Turkmenistan Held a Cabinet Meeting

On April 21, 2025, the ceremony of presenting credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Mongolia P.Durdyev (with residence in Beijing) to the President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh was held at the Government House of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar.

During the ceremony, Ambassador P.Durdyev conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the head of state, as well as to the entire Mongolian people.

In turn, the President of Mongolia expressed words of gratitude for the warm wishes.

After the ceremony, Ambassador P.Durdyev had a brief conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh, during which B.Batmunkh, congratulating the Ambassador on the presentation of his credentials, wished him success in his diplomatic work.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People Paid a Friendly Visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan

On April 24, 2025, a round table on the topic: &ldquo;The 30th Anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan: Сooperation for Peace and Trust&rdquo; was held in the Magtymguly Fragi Auditorium of Sukhumi State University, dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th Anniversary of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia.

The round table was attended by the delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Chairman of the Committee of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan on Social Policy, Chairman of the Turkmen-Georgian Interparliamentary Friendship Group A.Sarjaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkmenistan K.Sabiashvili, representatives of the Parliament of Georgia, the faculty of the University, as well as representatives of the media.

The speakers emphasized the high level of Turkmen-Georgian relations in a wide range of areas, and reviewed the current state and prospects of cooperation, which is successfully developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

A round table dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th Anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan was held in Tbilisi

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a two-day friendly visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

As is well known, the establishment of close and comprehensive cooperation with neighboring countries consistently remains a top priority of the foreign policy doctrine of independent and neutral Turkmenistan, which is successfully pursuing a course of constructive international dialogue in the interest of all.

The 15th Meeting of the International Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association Took Place

The International Forum on Attracting Foreign Investment to the Economy of Turkmenistan (TEIF 2025) began its work in the capital of Malaysia. The large-scale event is organized by the State Concerns &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; and &quot;Turkmengaz&quot; as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, in partnership with the Turkmen Energy Forum Business Council. 
The event has brought together leading national and international energy companies, as well as reputable experts, who are actively discussing the future of Turkmenistan&#39;s oil and gas industry and the region as a whole. Representatives from giants such as CNPC, Dragon Oil, Petronas, Mitro, and ENI are sharing their experiences working in the contract areas of the Balkan and Lebap velayats. 
The focus of the forum participants is on attracting investment in the promising offshore blocks No. 21 and 23, the development of Western Cheleken, optimizing production at mature fields, and plans for the further development of the giant &quot;Galkynyş&quot; gas field. 
The forum will also consider strategic projects for the reconstruction of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries and the Seydi oil refinery. Representatives of the British company GaffneyCline are sharing information on the support provided to the &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; State Concern in preparing investment packages for the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.

TEIF 2025 International forum started in Kuala Lumpur

On 22 April 2025, a meeting took place at the European Parliament between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium Sapar Palvanov and the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the European Parliament Sylwia Kosinska

During the meeting, the Ambassador delivered an official invitation letter addressed to the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to attend the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled to be held on December 12, 2025, in Ashgabat.

The parties discussed current issues on the international and regional agenda, exchanged views on contemporary geopolitical processes, and emphasized the growing importance of peaceful dialogue and multilateral cooperation amid global challenges.

Special attention was given to Turkmenistan&rsquo;s initiative to declare 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust. The Ambassador noted that this coincides with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s neutrality and the 80th anniversary of the United Nations. He underlined the significance of the upcoming forum in Ashgabat as a platform for promoting the principles of open dialogue and trust between nations.

Meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium with the Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the European Parliament

On April 22, 2025, a meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS was held at the Organization&rsquo;s headquarters in Minsk.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Executive Committee &ndash; CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev and his deputies, as well as permanent plenipotentiary representatives of the Commonwealth member states to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth.

During the event, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus N.Shakulyev made an introductory presentation on the book by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov &ldquo;Hakyda g&ouml;wheri&rdquo;.

During the presentation of the book &ldquo;Hakyda g&ouml;wheri&rdquo; Ambassador noted that in the publication of the new work special attention is paid to the themes of patriotism, the sanctity of the Motherland, as well as historical events demonstrating the importance of friendship, peacefulness and strengthening cooperation with countries of the world. The presentation of the book “Hakyda göwheri” took place within the framework of the meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS

On April 22, 2025, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara) Hrvoje Cvetanovic, who presented copies of his credentials.

At the beginning of the meeting, M. Byashimova congratulated the Ambassador of Croatia on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success in his diplomatic activities.

During the meeting, the parties considered prospects for expanding relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Noting cooperation on international platforms, the interlocutors also expressed their readiness to continue the practice of mutual support for initiatives within the UN.

22 апреля завершился дружественный визит Национального Лидера туркменского народа, Председателя Халк Маслахаты Туркменистана Героя-Аркадага Гурбангулы Бердымухамедова в Республику Казахстан.

Во второй день визита состоялась встреча Председателя Халк Маслахаты Туркменистана Гурбангулы Бердымухамедова с Президентом Республики Казахстан Касым-Жомартом Токаевым, которая прошла при участии членов делегаций обеих стран.

В ходе встречи Президент Касым-Жомарт Токаев поздравил Героя-Аркадага с началом Международного года мира и доверия, подчеркнув, что Казахстан с большим энтузиазмом поддержал эту личную инициативу Национального Лидера туркменского народа. Он также подчеркнул, что с удовольствием принял приглашение Героя Аркадага принять участие в Международном форуме, посвящённом Международному году мира и доверия и предстоящем 12 декабря в Ашхабаде.

Значимым шагом в их претворении в жизнь стало подписание в ходе визита Президента Республики Казахстан в Ашхабад в октябре 2024 года ряда документов между крупными профильными структурами двух стран. Подтвердив готовность Туркменистана к их практической реализации, Герой-Аркадаг высказался о необходимости дать соответствующие поручения совместной рабочей группе, созданной в целях координации деятельности по продвижению проекта освоения очередной фазы газового месторождения &laquo;Galkynyş&raquo; и поставок туркменского природного газа в Казахстан.

Важной сферой сотрудничества Национальный Лидер туркменского народа также назвал транспорт и коммуникации.

В целях дальнейшего формирования благоприятных транспортно-транзитных условий Герой-Аркадаг также предложил рассмотреть вопрос наращивания всестороннего взаимодействия между портами Туркменбаши, Актау и Курык на Каспийском море.

В продолжение темы была подчёркнута позитивная динамика роста грузоперевозок автомобильным и железнодорожным транспортом, в частности, в рамках коридора &laquo;Север-Юг&raquo;. В этой связи Герой-Аркадаг высказался за создание новых форм сотрудничества, в том числе посредством учреждения совместной туркмено-казахстанской транспортно-логистической компании.

Эффективным видится интенсификация деятельности Туркмено-казахстанского делового совета и проведение его заседаний на регулярной основе. Очередное заседание Совета состоялось в марте 2025 года в Ашхабаде.

Подчеркнув плодотворность двустороннего культурно-гуманитарного взаимодействия, Герой-Аркадаг отметил, что представители Туркменистана и Казахстана принимают активное участие в международных конференциях, выставках и других мероприятиях, проводимых в обеих странах.

Отметив, что в прошлом году были организованы перекрёстные Дни культуры в Астане и Ашхабаде, Национальный Лидер туркменского народа предложил продолжить эту добрую традицию.

В заключение, поблагодарив Президента Касым-Жомарта Токаева за личный вклад в укрепление дружбы и сотрудничества между Туркменистаном и Республикой Казахстан, Герой-Аркадаг адресовал наилучшие пожелания братскому народу соседней страны.

На открытой площадке были представлены легковые автомобили, трактора, комбайны, автобусы и комплектующие к ним.

Exporters concluded deals totaling more than $41,130,400 last week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET). 
Business representatives from Afghanistan, T&uuml;rki&yacute;e, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan purchased sodium chloride and autobenzine produced by the T&uuml;rkmenhimi&yacute;a Concern, as well as liquefied gas, aviation kerosene, petroleum bitumen, and gas-concrete products from the T&uuml;rkmennebit Concern. 
Textiles produced by enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan were also sold at the exchange trades. 
For the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased Portland cement, cotton yarn, and dried licorice root extract, totaling 34,570,000 manat. 
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 15 transactions last week.

The Visit of Hero-Arkadag to the Republic of Kazakhstan Has Begun

On April 21, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via a digital system, attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev and the khyakims of the velayats, during which issues related to the country&#39;s agricultural sector and the ongoing work in the regions were reviewed.

The khyakims reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the regions. As reported, to ensure a rich wheat harvest, irrigation is currently being carried out in the fields in accordance with agrotechnical requirements. At the same time, steps are being taken to prepare reception points, grain elevators, combine harvesters, and other equipment for the wheat harvest.

The President of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the khyakims of the velayats

On April 19, 2025, in the building of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Exchanges of Afyonkarahisar, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in T&uuml;rkiye organized a business forum on the topic &quot;Turkmenistan and T&uuml;rkiye: modern directions of economic cooperation&quot;.

The event brought together more than 100 heads of Turkish companies and non-governmental structures. The purpose of the forum was to reveal the investment potential of Turkmenistan for representatives of the Turkish business community.

In his speech at the meeting, Ambassador M.Ishangulyev noted that in order to fully utilize the investment potential, Turkmenistan is taking a responsible and comprehensive approach to building partnerships in the international trade system based on the principles of mutual respect, equality and trust.

It was noted that Turkmenistan actively supports the development of the private sector and attracting foreign investment, providing various benefits and favorable conditions for doing business. The Ambassador also noted Turkmenistan&#39;s commitment to the introduction of environmentally friendly and green technologies in all sectors of the economy.

During the business forum, the participants exchanged views on promising areas for attracting Turkish investment, such as the oil and gas chemical industry, the agro-industrial complex, transport and logistics, telecommunications and information technologies.

Also, during the meeting, a video dedicated to the investment potential of Turkmenistan was shown to the participants.

In addition, as part of the events in Afyonkarahisar, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey M.Ishangulyev held a number of meetings with the leadership of the region.

Thus, during the meeting with the head of the Afyonkarahisar city administration Kubra Guran Yigitbashi, an exchange of views took place on increasing cooperation in the trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian and educational spheres.

Along with this, a meeting of the Turkmen delegation with the director of the regional industrial zone Bekir Yesilaya took place. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed promising areas of Turkmen-Turkish relations, including in the areas of trade and investment.

Ambassador M. Ishangulyev also held meetings with the rector of Kocatepe University Mehmet Karakas and the rector of the Medical University of Afyonkarahisar Nurullah Okumush. During the meetings, the parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of education, science and culture, as well as expanding partnership and exchange of experience between educational institutions of the two countries.

Arkadag city hosted the meeting of Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship Oguljahan Atabayeva with the delegation of the Al-Arabiya TV channel, which arrived in our country on a visit, headed by the TV channel&rsquo;s presenter Rizvan Khan. Vice President of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation met with the delegation of the Al-Arabiya TV channel

On April 18, 2025, a round table entitled &ldquo;Development of transport connectivity and trade and economic integration in the region of Central Asia and the South Caucasus in the context of the Ashgabat Action Program (2024&ndash;2035) and the Decade of Sustainable Transport (2026&ndash;2035)&rdquo; was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The round table was attended by heads and employees of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as media representatives.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Executive Secretary of the International Center for Transport Diplomacy Igor Runov in their speeches noted that the creation of an extensive, safe international transport infrastructure is one of the integral factors of universal sustainable development, and emphasized the priorities, tasks and practical steps to further increase the potential of transport diplomacy.

On April 17, 2025, within the framework of the proclamation of 2025 as the &ldquo;International Year of Peace and Trust&rdquo; and in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&#39;s permanent neutrality, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic organized a round table at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn.

The event was attended by teachers and students of this university, as well as scientists from the University of the Republic of Turkey, who participated via video conference.

During the round table, the significance of the proclamation of 2025 as the &quot;International Year of Peace and Trust&quot; on the initiative of Turkmenistan was presented. ​The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the projects of buildings planned as part of the upcoming stage of the city&#39;s development, heard information about their decorative features, and also held a working meeting with the participation of relevant leaders.

In the new city, founded on the initiative and thanks to the efforts of the Hero Arkadaga, the pace of work in all directions is increasing. This is a clear evidence of the successful implementation of a large&ndash;scale urban development program initiated by Hero Arkadag and continued by Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people arrived in the city of Arkadag, which has received many international certificates. Honored Architect of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag first of all got acquainted with the projects of modern buildings planned for construction here and their decorative features. Currently, in accordance with the requirements of the time, the second stage of the city&#39;s development is being implemented.

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov reported on the pace of construction of buildings for various purposes, including the prepared projects of the artistic carpet-making enterprise, on the features of the exterior decoration of the main building of the complex, equipment of other social facilities that will be built on the territory of the new city.

The Arkadag hero was shown a mock-up of the general appearance of the artistic carpet-making enterprise, the features of its exterior decoration, as well as projects of the new Arkadag city park and road transport infrastructure facilities, lighting system options.

As you know, at the request of residents of the new city, a decision was made at the state level to build a carpet factory here, which will create new jobs. Handmade products of high quality by Turkmen craftsmen will make a great contribution to the development of carpet weaving in our country. The carpet company will form a single harmony with the architectural appearance of the new city, will take a worthy place in the creation of unique samples of Turkmen carpets.

The Arkadag hero got acquainted with the submitted projects and made some adjustments. In particular, modern digital technologies should be effectively used in the exterior decoration of a new enterprise. Great importance should be attached to innovative lighting technologies.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people stressed that the elements of the unique spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people should be reflected in the exterior decoration of the carpet enterprise. In this context, the expediency of using images of the dagdan tree or yuzarlik, etc., to which our ancestors attached sacred significance, as well as the main symbol of the national art of embroidery &ndash; the &quot;go&ccedil;ak&quot; pattern, was noted. The hero-Arkadag instructed to carefully study the issues in this direction.

As noted, the construction of a carpet factory here is of particular importance. The development of carpet art is determined by an important task of our time. In this regard, it is necessary to thoroughly approach the architectural features and equipment of the enterprise, its external design based on the principles of national architecture.

Hero-Arkadag noted that at the enterprise of artistic carpet making, which will be built as part of the second stage of development, all conditions for creative activity and comfortable rest, as well as useful leisure of its employees, should be created. In addition, it is necessary to provide opportunities for proper rest of the carpet workers during the break and performing various physical exercises.

Then Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, having familiarized himself with the project of the park planned within the new city and its facilities, made some comments and made appropriate adjustments. Special attention should be paid to the placement of comfortable benches in the park, which is especially important for a comfortable stay of people.

As the Honored Architect of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag emphasized, the construction of road transport facilities, including unique buildings that are planned to be erected at the junction of transport routes, should form a single harmony with the architectural appearance of the city. The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that work in all areas, especially concerning the construction of the city, should be carried out at a high quality level. At the same time, best practices and innovative technologies should be effectively used, and special attention should be paid to environmental issues. All work must be kept under constant control.

Then Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty held a working meeting with the participation of Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov and head of the city administration G.Mammadova.

In particular, the agenda includes preparations for the upcoming VI Vienna Ball in Smart City. As noted, modern Turkmenistan has become a venue for major international forums on various topics, including in the field of culture and art. In this regard, the decision to hold the next Vienna Ball in the city of Arkadag, which meets international standards in all respects, has once again confirmed its status as a center for large-scale events.

At the same time, information was provided about the nomination &quot;Akhal-Teke horse breeding art and traditions of horse decoration&quot; presented by Turkmenistan within the framework of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. As reported, it was included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Mankind by UNESCO: in the coming days, the city of Arkadag will be awarded the appropriate certificate.

This event will fully demonstrate the international recognition of the comprehensive work carried out in Turkmenistan &ndash; in the ancient homeland of Akhal&ndash;Teke horses - to preserve the purity of the breed, increase the number and increase the world fame of elite horses, as well as proper care for them according to the ancestral folk practice.

In continuation of the working meeting, Chairman of the State Committee D.Orazov said that the delegation of our country had been invited to a meeting of the International Monetary Fund, and appealed to Hero Arkadag with a request to convey Arkadagly&#39;s sincere gratitude to Hero Serdar for the opportunity to participate in the high-level forum. The wide recognition of the colossal work carried out here is confirmed by the award of the 21st international certificate to the city of Arkadag, as well as 3 prestigious awards at a major exhibition recently held in the Republic of Korea.

Speaking about this, the Arkadag Hero emphasized the detailed presentation during the next IMF meeting of information on the pace of work and dynamics of reforms in the new city, which are carried out on the basis of modern practice and in accordance with international standards.
