Delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the Tashkent International Investment Forum

On June 11, the harvesting season began in the wheat fields of the Dashoguz and Balkan velayats of the country. Inspired by the blessing of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, addressed to all grain growers of the Fatherland at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on May 29, farmers are determined to collect the rich grain harvest in the shortest possible time and without losses.

The start of the mowing in the Dashoguz and Balkan velayats was preceded by production seminars with the participation of representatives of the velayat and etrap khyakimliks, experienced agronomists, machine operators, and tenant farmers. The agenda included issues of proper organization of the harvest, ensuring the clear and coordinated work of the entire grain harvesting conveyor.

The grain field of the northern region is 145 thousand hectares, from which farmers will have to prepare 265 thousand tons of grain. As for the grain growers of the western region, their state order, according to the Decree of the head of state, is 80 thousand tons of grain from 50 thousand hectares of land.

According to a centuries-old good folk tradition, the elders offered a prayer to the Almighty for a successful harvest. Then the respected aksakals, having received sickles from the hands of the younger generation, mowed the first ripe wheat ears with the words &quot;Harmanyňyza bereket, &ccedil;&auml;jiňize bereket!&quot; - &quot;May the harvest of your grain be abundant!&quot; and handed over the symbolic sheaves to the combine operators.

The farmers have done a lot to grow a full harvest, in terms of carrying out measures to care for winter crops and strictly adhering to agricultural standards, giving preference to high-yielding varieties of wheat that have proven themselves well in the soil and climatic conditions of the region.

Grain harvesters, distinguished by their power and high productivity, have entered the fields. Their uninterrupted operation is ensured by a network of repair and mechanical teams with a sufficient number of spare parts, fuels and lubricants.

The delivery of wheat to receiving points, barns and elevators will be provided by trucks. The laboratories of the Main State Service &quot;T&uuml;rkmenstandartlary&quot; are also fully prepared, and their specialists will use the latest equipment to promptly determine the quality of grain coming from the fields. 
Machine operators, drivers and other workers involved in mowing have been given mandatory training on occupational health and fire safety. The international exhibition-fair Turkmentextile Expo-2025 is taking place in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, marking a significant event in the textile and fashion industry of the region. The event is organized by the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan in collaboration with TurkmenExpo. 
The exhibition covers a wide range of areas&mdash;from equipment and processing of natural fibers to fashionable clothing, textile chemistry, accessories, and the latest technologies. 
The main goal is to demonstrate the potential of the Turkmen textile industry, promote the implementation of innovations, and strengthen international cooperation. 
Turkmentextile Expo-2025 has gathered designers and experts from Italy, the United Kingdom, Singapore, the Netherlands, Thailand, Kazakhstan, India, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. 
The exhibition program includes fashion shows, presentations, master classes, lectures, and discussions aimed at experience exchange and the development of professional dialogue.

International exhibition of textiles and fashion "Turkmentextile Expo – 2025" opened in Ashgabat

The Department of Geology and Geochemistry of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev has developed an &ldquo;Innovative hydraulic unit for displacing air from the cavities of drill pipes.&rdquo;

The invention, created by professors and teachers of the said university - Doctor of Technical Sciences Arslan Geldimuradov, senior teachers Dovran Esenov and Rejepguly Gulmammedov, as well as teacher Mahmud Haydarov - received limited patent No. 956 from the State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.

In order to implement this installation into production, teachers from the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, together with specialists from the T&uuml;rkmengazburawla&yacute;yş Department of the Turkmengas State Concern, successfully tested it at the Galkynysh field at well No. 261 at a depth of 1,600 meters, at well No. 263 at a depth of 2,350 meters, at well No. 231 at a depth of 3,496 meters, and at well No. 264 at a depth of 4,019 meters. As a result of the tests, it was established that the use of an innovative hydraulic installation, scientifically developed to improve drilling operations, makes it possible to eliminate obstacles that arise during the drilling process when the pressure at the bottom of the well changes.

One of the other developments of these teachers is a device called the &quot;Pneumatic Washing Machine with a Water Fountain&quot;. It was created with the aim of cleaning drilling rigs, their units and parts, saving working time and water, ensuring environmental safety, reducing costs and ensuring reliable, high-quality and long-term operation of complex technologies.This device has also received limited patent No. 935 from the State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.

Teachers of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev have invented an innovative hydraulic unit

A cultural event was held at the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Federal Republic of Germany (Frankfurt am Main), dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

The event was attended by diplomats, representatives of the business community, members of the Turkmen diaspora and university students.

In his speech, Consul M.Ozbekbaev drew the participants&rsquo; attention to the importance of the Turkmenistan&rsquo;s status of permanent Neutrality and peacekeeping initiatives.

As part of the event, a presentation was held for the book &laquo;Magtymguly &ndash; the Sage of the World&raquo; by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the philosophical work &laquo;Hakyda G&ouml;wheri&raquo; by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The participants praised these publications highly, noting their contribution to the promotion of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s spiritual and cultural values on the international stage.

A book exhibition was also organized on the sidelines of the event, featuring works by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

A cultural event was held in Frankfurt in Honor of the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality

From 4 to 6 June 2025, the 71st meeting of the UN Tourism Commission for Europe was held in Baku. The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Tourism B.Rejepov took part in the event.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 38 countries &ndash; members of the UN Tourism Commission for Europe. During the meeting, key issues of tourism industry development in the region were discussed, including current challenges, on which the member countries agreed on further joint cooperation.

It was noted that Turkmenistan, being an active participant in initiatives within the framework of UN Tourism, attaches great importance to the development of the tourism industry both at the national and regional levels. In this context, Turkmenistan pays special attention to strengthening international cooperation in the field of tourism, introducing modern approaches to the development of tourism infrastructure, as well as promoting the rich cultural and natural heritage of Turkmenistan on the world stage.

Turkmenistan strengthens cooperation with UN Tourism

In Warsaw (Republic of Poland), the delegation of Turkmenistan held meetings and negotiations at the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (ODIHR/OSCE).

The visit of the Turkmen delegation, consisting of representatives of the Central Commission for Holding Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan, the Mejlis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the media, to this European capital took place on the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov .

During the meetings and negotiations with the Director of the Bureau Maria Tellalian , as well as heads of departments, issues of further expansion of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE/ODIHR were discussed. An agreement was reached on the development of a Roadmap for partnership in various areas.

Issues of enhancing cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE/ODIHR were discussed

In our country, where the oil industry is one of the key sectors of the economy, the State Concern &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo; includes not only main departments, but also a number of auxiliary units. One of them is the &ldquo;Burnebitgazhyzmat&rdquo; Department under the &ldquo;Nebitgazburawla&yacute;yş&rdquo; Trust. The main task of this department is to supply enterprises with drilling and casing pipes. The department ensures the timely delivery of pipes to production sites where drilling operations are conducted, as well as their preparation for use, maintenance, technical testing and inspection. It also provides services related to transportation and specialized machinery.

Since the beginning of the year, the &ldquo;Nebitgaz&ccedil;ykaryş&rdquo; Trust of the State Concern &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo; has produced 1,278,817 tons of &ldquo;black gold.&rdquo; This achievement is clearly due in large part to the skilled work of experienced drillers. The high volume of oil and gas production directly depends on the scale of drilling operations. Since the start of the year, the drillers of the &ldquo;Nebitgazburawla&yacute;yş&rdquo; Trust have drilled 57,246 meters of production wells and 16,051 meters of exploration wells. The &ldquo;Burnebitgazhyzmat&rdquo; Department has consistently supplied drilling enterprises with the necessary pipes on time. The department operates smoothly with the help of overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 12.5 tons, truck cranes with capacities ranging from 12 to 25 tons, and powerful specialized vehicles for transporting pipes.

The department maintains pipe yards at production sites in Goturdepe, Korpeje, Ekerem, and Akpatlawuk. It also supplies pipes to drilling areas in places such as Barsagelmez and Uzynada. Within the department, four operational sections are in place, where effective restoration of casing pipes used in drilling is carried out. These pipes are straightened, cleaned, and sent to the drillers. Powerful &ldquo;ASW-1050&rdquo; and &ldquo;ASW-700&rdquo; units available at the facility make it possible to accurately assess the condition and pressure resistance of the pipes before they are dispatched to the drilling teams. All pipes entering the industry&mdash;whether new or previously used&mdash;are inspected and certified by the technical control department of the pipe repair shop. It is worth noting that this is the only such unit within the State Concern &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo; that performs such a responsible task.

Among the department&rsquo;s priorities are ensuring the high quality of services provided to successfully fulfill oil and gas production plans, reducing the time required for drilling and well construction, establishing control over the efficient use of pipes, and preparing drilling and casing pipes for use with minimal labor and material costs. All these tasks are accomplished thanks to the dedicated efforts of the highly motivated specialists of the &ldquo;Burnebitgazhyzmat&rdquo; Department. The enterprise regularly supplies the drilling operations departments in Korpeje, Ekerem, Goturdepe, and Nebitdag with drilling and casing pipes, heavy-weight drill pipes, square kellys, drill and casing pipe connectors, check valves, and subs.

The Department&#39;s Labor Protection and Safety Division attaches great importance to strict compliance with labor discipline and ensuring safe working conditions. Throughout the year, inspections are regularly carried out in workshops and sections according to the schedule of the continuously operating occupational safety commission. All necessary working conditions are provided in the workshops. Workers are promptly supplied with special clothing and personal protective equipment.

The properly organized work of the &ldquo;Burnebitgazhyzmat&rdquo; Department testifies to the fact that its workforce is on track to complete the Year of Peace and Trust with high production results.

Work Is Carried Out Properly

As part of its participation in the 113th session of the International Labour Conference, held in Geneva on June 5, the delegation of Turkmenistan held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of the International Organization of Employers (IOE) and the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC).

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan M. Sylapov discussed with the Secretary General of the International Organization of Employers Roberto Suarez-Santos ways to expand cooperation, including technical support and the involvement of national employers in international processes. The Turkmen side confirmed its readiness for further cooperation with the International Organization of Employers, emphasizing the importance of joint initiatives and the active participation of business in reforming the social sphere.

During the meeting with the head of the International Trade Union Confederation Luc Triangle, the emphasis was placed on the development of a tripartite partnership between the state, employers and trade unions. Steps to further expand the dialogue were discussed, including possible membership of trade unions of Turkmenistan in the International Trade Union Confederation. The activity of national trade unions in international and regional formats, as well as their participation in the formation of the country&#39;s social policy, were noted.

The day before, on June 4, during the plenary session of the 113th session of the International Labor Conference (ILC), in his speech M. Sylapov emphasized Turkmenistan&#39;s commitment to the principles of decent work, social justice and partnership.

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population noted the relevance of the ILO global agenda and its compliance with the strategic directions outlined in the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan until 2052.

Turkmenistan expands cooperation with international organizations in the field of labor

On June 8, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a meeting with the Executive Director of the &ldquo;Turkmenistan-USA&rdquo; Business Council Eric Stewart.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and US companies.

Trade and economic vector, fuel and energy sector, transport and communications, industry, agriculture, high technologies and others were named among the relevant areas of bilateral cooperation. At the same time, the interlocutors considered the possibilities of intensifying contacts in such important areas as cybersecurity, green technologies and education. Special emphasis was placed on the activities of the Turkmenistan-U.S. Business Council and its role in strengthening interstate relations.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the commitment of the Government of Turkmenistan to expanding trade and economic cooperation with business organizations of the United States. At the same time, the sides noted the long-term positive contribution of American companies to the development of various spheres of the Turkmen economy.

A meeting with the executive director of the Turkmenistan-USA Business Council

On June 5, a reporting meeting on the results of the industry&rsquo;s enterprises for the first five months of this year, the International Year of Peace and Trust, was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the country&rsquo;s oil and gas complex at the digital sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on June 4, which had summed up the activities of all sectors of the economy for the current period.

During the meeting, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, the State Minister of Turkmenistan &ndash; Chairman of the T&uuml;rkmengaz State Concern Maksat Babayev, the Chairman of the T&uuml;rkmennebit State Concern Guvanch Agajanov, the Chairman of the T&uuml;rkmengeologi&yacute;a State Corporation Gurbangeldy Garliyev and heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex spoke, reporting on the work done during the reporting period.

Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov noted the importance of the constant monitoring of large projects being implemented in the country&rsquo;s oil and gas sector, the timely fulfillment of production plans, the acceleration of the pace of the construction of the Serhetabat-Herat TAPI section called &ldquo;Arkadagyň Ak &yacute;oly&rdquo; and the active preparation of health and recreation centers for the summer season.
