On June 21-22, 2025, the delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the 51st meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which was held in Istanbul.

Among the participants of the large-scale event are famous theatre artists, pop and folk performers, museum and library specialists, musicians, artists, poets and prose writers, creative groups and popular folklore and ethnographic groups from all regions of the country.

At the end of the concert, on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a toy-sadaqah was given in the building for holding public events at &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmeniň ak &ouml;&yacute;i&rdquo; for the prosperity of the country and the well-being of the people.

The events continued at the Ak bugda&yacute; National Museum, the world&#39;s first and only wheat museum, in a place where, according to irrefutable evidence from scientists, the oldest center of irrigated agriculture was located. The National Museum was opened in July 2005. In its architectural embodiment, this unique building resembles a sheaf of wheat, which is crowned by a giant golden ear reaching towards the sky.

The wheat grains, grown on Turkmen soil in the 5th millennium BC (seven thousand years ago), discovered in 1904 by the expedition of the American geologist Raphael Pampelly, are the main exhibit of the unique collection collected here. The museum also presents finds from other agricultural settlements of the Kopetdag Valley - stone grain grinders, hand millstones, a bronze hoe and knife, a butter churn, fragments of ceramic dishes, other tools and household utensils.

Then, an educational and methodological meeting of museum specialists was held on the topic &ldquo;Halkymyzyň medeni mirasyny toplamakda, gorap saklamakda we olary ylmy esasda &ouml;wrenmekde muze&yacute;leriň orny&rdquo;, dedicated to the role of museums in collecting, preserving and scientifically studying the cultural heritage of our people.

As noted, the country&#39;s museums are the largest cultural, scientific and educational centers in the study of the history of the Turkmen people, preservation for future generations and popularization of spiritual heritage, which is one of the priority tasks of the state. They preserve and increase the artistic and intellectual values accumulated over centuries, unique historical evidence and rarities.

It should be noted that this area is effectively developing thanks to the tireless care of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The ancient history of the Turkmen people, their unique culture, traditions and customs, the unprecedented achievements of the state in the modern era - all this is embodied in the richest museum expositions.

Of great importance are also the historical and cultural monuments of Turkmenistan, which are an important component of the world cultural heritage and evidence of the rich history and cultural diversity of the region. The participants focused special attention on improving the activities to preserve and enhance the unique spiritual wealth of our people, as well as the role of museums in such an important matter. In this regard, great importance is attached to the comprehensive work on the protection, restoration and monitoring of the condition of hundreds of historical, cultural, archaeological and architectural monuments in all velayats. Scientific research is being conducted at the sites.

During the meeting, there was an interested exchange of opinions on issues of further modernization of the methodology of organizing museology, studying material and spiritual values that have not only national but also universal significance. Reports were also heard on the accounting and storage of works of art, archaeological finds, the specifics of registering and preserving ancient weapons, the rules and procedures for placing exhibits, as well as the introduction of a digital system in museum work.

It was emphasized that today new methods and advanced technologies are being actively introduced into the organization of museum work, and the legislative framework in this area is being improved in the country.

As part of the forum, a methodological meeting was held at the Culture House of Kaka region with the participation of creative workers from folk theaters, drama clubs and theater studios of the Ahal velayat. In the evening, artists from the Kaahka etrap folk theater were invited to show the play &quot;Ş&uuml;k&uuml;r bagşy&quot;. In this production, the main character, Shukur, went to a foreign country to free his brother from captivity, taking a dutar with him instead of a weapon, since he preferred peace to violence. President of Turkmenistan approves proposal to supply electricity to Uzynada field

On June 20, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, physician Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the capital, where he got acquainted with the projects and drawings of the location of healthcare facilities being built here.

As part of the familiarization with the projects of the Dentistry Center, doctor J. Garlyev reported on the features of its equipment, emphasizing that all conditions for inpatient treatment of patients will be created here, including departments for different age categories of citizens, including children.

On 17 June 2025, within the framework of the 17th Human Rights Dialogue between Turkmenistan and the European Union, a bilateral meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Director of the European External Action Service for Asia Paola Pampaloni.

The meeting focused on regional security issues, especially in the context of the situation in Afghanistan. The Turkmen side presented its approach based on the principles of neutrality, good neighborliness and non-interference in the internal affairs of states. An international scientific and practical symposium on the topic “Multifaceted Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan: Achievements and Prospects” was held in Baku

On 17 June 2025, the 176th session of the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) was held in Paris, bringing together delegations of member countries to discuss current issues related to the organization of international and specialized exhibitions.

The session was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the BIE Maksat Charyev, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Mergen Gurdov, as well as the head of the exhibitions and fairs department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Kemal Amanov from the Turkmen side.

During the opening of the session, the agenda was approved, including the reports of the Administrative and Budgetary Committee, the Executive Committee, the Legal Committee, and the BIE Information and Communications Committee.

The 176th session of the General Assembly of the International Exhibitions Bureau was held in Paris

The Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan held a solemn awards ceremony for the winners of the III integrated Olympiad &ldquo;Talented Descendants of Oguz Han&rdquo;, held by the university among students in grades 9-12 of secondary schools in the country.

Based on the results of the competition, 33 schoolchildren were awarded prizes.

Having performed brilliantly in the Olympiad, 11 students from the country&#39;s schools won first place. Among them are Palvan Ilmammedov, Maksat Tyllaev, Rustem Jumayev, Diyar Dovletov, Hudayguly Hudayberenov, Aylar Orunova and Nyazli Serdarova, students of grades 10-12 of the Ashgabat Specialized Boarding School named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi.

The honorable first places in the Olympiad were taken by Ulker Ahmedova and Shatlyk Jumageldiyev, students of School No. 86 in Ashgabat, as well as Yusup Resulov and Parakhat Odzharov, students of School No. 87 in the capital.

8 second and 14 third places were rightfully awarded to the most talented and capable participants of the Olympiad &ndash; young experts in science from Ashgabat and all regions of the country.

Another 16 schoolchildren became the winners of Incentive Prizes of the large-scale intellectual competition.

During the award ceremony, the winners and prize winners of the Olympiad were presented with medals, diplomas and valuable gifts from the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.

The III integrated Olympiad &quot;Talented Descendants of Oguz Han&quot; in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology included 3 rounds and started in March of this year. In the first round of the competition, 2,500 schoolchildren from all over the country competed. More than 1,000 of them continued the intellectual struggle in the second round. The 60 best experts in the disciplines competed in the final of the Olympiad.

As part of the final stage, held at the university, a summer school was organized for the finalists. It included intellectual and sports competitions, creative and cultural meetings, additional classes in various subjects, as well as entertaining training courses dedicated to current areas of modern science and education.

Events for schoolchildren were held in the university&#39;s innovation centers &quot;World of Knowledge&quot; and &quot;Cybersport&quot;, as well as in the university&#39;s ultra-modern research and scientific laboratories equipped with advanced equipment. The finalists received educational lectures on the development and achievements of modern science, which were given by foreign professors, famous scientists from Germany, T&uuml;rkiye and China.

The meetings of schoolchildren with university students, who introduced them to their scientific works and told them about the first steps on the path to science, were fruitful. Modeling lessons and practical classes in robotics were also included in the intensive program of the summer camp for the Olympiad finalists. The events held were aimed at stimulating the interest of schoolchildren in studying science, expanding their horizons and increasing motivation for active participation in scientific research work.

The integrated Olympiad, held for the third year in a row, is one of the university&rsquo;s career-oriented projects, which is actively working to attract talented youth from the country.

It should be noted that all participants who passed the I, II or III stage of the Olympiad are included in the Golden Fund of the University &ldquo;Talented Descendants of Oguz Han&rdquo;, whose members enjoy a benefit when entering the university.

The fact that 113 of the 146 schoolchildren who participated in the Olympiad in previous years are currently studying at this prestigious university in various fields fully confirms the effectiveness of this project.

The Olympiad successfully makes a significant contribution to the implementation of priority tasks in the sphere of science and education of the country. Among them are strengthening effective links between higher and secondary educational institutions of the country, stimulating and supporting the interest of the younger generation in studying sciences, raising erudite, talented, active youth capable of successfully applying innovative technologies, thinking broadly and independently solving assigned tasks.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived on a working trip to Mary province.
