A meeting with a high-ranking politician and head of the Diplomatic Friendship Group of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Durrani, was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.

The guest was introduced to the foreign policy concept of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, trade and economic opportunities and investment potential of the country. He was also told about the favorable conditions created in Turkmenistan for international partnership.

Turkmenistan and Pakistan discussed opportunities for expanding trade and economic relations

On July 30, a new avenue and a modern bridge were inaugurated in the city of Arkadag. The opening ceremony took place at the intersection of G&ouml;kdepe and Ke&yacute;mir k&ouml;r avenues.

The width of the roadway on each side of the bridge, constructed by domestic entrepreneurs, is over 12 meters, and the width of its dividing strip is 5 meters. Pedestrian and green lanes are located on both sides of the bridge.

The bridge has a height of 9 meters, a length of 627 meters, and a width of 29.5 meters. The roads, which ensure the coordinated movement of vehicles over and under the bridge, are designed in accordance with modern requirements, which speaks to the continuation of good deeds in our country under the leadership of the head of state.

A new avenue and a modern bridge were opened in the city of Arkadag

At the regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on Friday, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M&auml;mmetkhan Chakyyev presented to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov a proposal regarding the &quot;Electronic Government&quot; system. The President approved the proposal.

The new platform, implemented by the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), now connects 10 ministries and agencies, and integrates 12 state electronic services.

To ensure secure information exchange, cybersecurity servers have been installed. All electronic services are integrated through the &quot;X-Road&quot; platform, which enables government bodies to provide services to citizens quickly and securely, while also reducing costs and enhancing data protection.

As part of the project, phased training courses were organized for 75 specialists from the Ministry of Communications and participating agencies. The training covered the use of the &quot;X-Road&quot; platform, networking technologies based on &quot;Cisco CCNA&quot; and &quot;Cisco CCNP&quot; programs, as well as programming languages such as &quot;Linux&quot;, &quot;Java&quot;, and &quot;Python&quot;. Turkmenistan Launches Interagency Electronic Data Exchange System

On July 28, the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Azerbaijani Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Baku.

The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Nokerguly Atagulyyev, while the Azerbaijani delegation was led by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the positive nature of cooperation between the two countries, covering important areas such as trade and economy, energy, transport, and cultural-humanitarian sectors. It was also noted that there are ample opportunities for expanding cooperation in the energy sector.

Special attention was given to the positive dynamics of transit transportation between the two countries.

Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan to Expand Cooperation in Energy and Transport

On July 30, entrance exams for higher education institutions began in Turkmenistan following the completion of the application period for specialist, bachelor&#39;s, and master&#39;s programs.

The examination campaign is being conducted in stages across different regions and institutions and will continue until August 20. One of the first to start the entrance exams was Magtymguly Turkmen State University, with other regional universities to follow.

Particular attention is being paid to a newly established institution &mdash; the International University for Industrialists and Entrepreneurs &mdash; which is enrolling students for the first time in eight modern disciplines, including IT, mechanical engineering, economics, and law. The new university is based on the &ldquo;University 4.0&rdquo; model, integrating education, science, and innovation, and is geared toward the needs of the private sector and digital economy.

Starting from the 2025&ndash;2026 academic year, 13 new specialties will be introduced in a number of universities, including artificial intelligence systems, information technology, energy efficiency, banking, taxation, and analytics. Turkmenistan to Host Large-Scale Events under its Chairmanship in the UN Programme

On August 23 of this year, a meeting of pedagogical workers is scheduled to take place in Ashgabat, focusing on the priority tasks for the 2025&ndash;2026 academic year.

Turkmenistan received revenue of about 97 million dollars

A delegation from Turkmenistan participated in an international environmental conference held from July 24 to 26 at the &ldquo;Manzherok&rdquo; ski resort near the city of Gorno-Altaisk in the Altai Republic. Turkmen representatives, along with colleagues from seven other countries, discussed pressing issues related to environmental protection across the Eurasian continent.

Turkmenistan Presented Its Environmental Agenda at an International Conference in the Altai Republic

On July 26, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, which stands as a vivid example of the successful implementation of the country&rsquo;s urban development program in line with modern requirements and high international standards. The Hero-Arkadag reviewed various construction projects in the new city related to the modernization of the road and transport infrastructure and held a working meeting with relevant officials.

Early in the morning, Hero-Arkadag arrived at the modern road interchange built along the G&ouml;ktepe Avenue.

Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, Deryageldi Orazov, reported that specialists from the Research Institute for Seismic-Resistant Construction of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture conducted seismic studies of the area using artificial intelligence. Soil density, characteristics, and local climate factors were key considerations. Based on these, various facilities are being built within the city limits of Arkadag.

Projects built by local entrepreneurs applied modern innovative methods and years of experience in construction.

Hero-Arkadag emphasized that roofing materials and concrete for roadside zones must meet high international standards and be selected for their color, strength, and aesthetic appeal, considering the country&rsquo;s climate. Turkmenistan Approves Procedure for State Registration of National Cultural Heritage

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People&#39;s Republic of China to Turkmenistan, Ji Shumin, who presented his credentials to the head of state.

The diplomat conveyed warm greetings to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, from the President of the People&#39;s Republic of China, Xi Jinping. The Ambassador emphasized that China attaches great importance to the development of relations with Turkmenistan and highly values the international initiatives put forward by the country.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Ji Shumin on his appointment and underlined that China is one of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s most important strategic partners. He noted that bilateral cooperation has reached a qualitatively new level in recent years, as evidenced by mutual visits and intergovernmental negotiations.

In the economic sphere, China is Turkmenistan&rsquo;s leading trade, economic, and investment partner. The major Turkmenistan&ndash;Uzbekistan&ndash;Kazakhstan&ndash;China gas pipeline serves as a vivid example of effective cooperation in the fuel and energy sector.

Special emphasis was placed on the meeting between the President of Turkmenistan and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the second &quot;Central Asia&ndash;China&quot; summit in Astana, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening comprehensive cooperation.

Turkmenistan also supports further coordination of its proposed &ldquo;Revival of the Great Silk Road&rdquo; strategy with China&rsquo;s &ldquo;One Belt, One Road&rdquo; initiative.

The cultural and humanitarian dimension remains an integral part of the Turkmen-Chinese intergovernmental dialogue, with special attention devoted to expanding ties in science and education, healthcare, and culture.

The Ambassador assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen the traditionally friendly intergovernmental relations.

President of Turkmenistan Received the New Chinese Ambassador

On July 25, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, during which a number of state matters were discussed.

The meeting also addressed preparations for international events within Turkmenistan&rsquo;s chairmanship of the United Nations Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) in 2025. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on plans to hold an Economic Forum, the 20th session of the Governing Council, and working group meetings in Ashgabat in November&ndash;December, as well as on preparations for &ldquo;SPECA Days.&rdquo; These events are expected to be attended by high-level representatives of SPECA member states, UNECE leadership and specialized structures, as well as international experts.

Chairperson of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, reported on the drafting of legislative initiatives aimed at further legal development of the country, and on upcoming events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&#39;s permanent neutrality.

Reports were also presented on the work in the gas sector, the progress of agricultural campaigns, measures to improve energy supply quality, and preparations for the new academic year. The President announced the start of annual leave for government officials beginning August 1, excluding those in the agricultural sector and the heads (Hyakims) of the velayats.

The President of Turkmenistan held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on July 24, congratulating him on his birthday.

The Hero-Arkadag also conveyed warm congratulations on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The President of Uzbekistan expressed sincere gratitude for the congratulations and the special attention given to the development of bilateral cooperation.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted the dynamic nature of Turkmen-Uzbek interstate relations.

&ldquo;I would like to emphasize with great satisfaction that Turkmen-Uzbek interstate relations are currently developing dynamically. Regular meetings and constructive negotiations contribute to the deepening and expansion of bilateral cooperation across a wide range of areas,&rdquo; said Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The interlocutors confirmed the high level of partnership in the political and diplomatic sphere, based on trust and mutual understanding. It was noted that cooperation is successfully developing both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations.

In the trade and economic sphere, efforts are being made to increase mutual trade turnover, establish contacts between the business circles of the two countries, and develop interregional ties. The importance of the humanitarian component of the relationship, including the organization of cultural events, exhibitions, and concerts, was particularly emphasized.

The sides also exchanged views on international and regional agendas.

At the conclusion of the conversation, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan wished the President of Uzbekistan good health and further success in his state activities, and wished the brotherly people of Uzbekistan peace, progress, and prosperity.
