A striking confirmation of the strengthening of humanitarian ties through joint cultural events is the gala concert held today. Regular organization of such events promotes the activation of cultural contacts, the exchange of experience between representatives of the creative intelligentsia, and also increases the interest of our peoples in the history and spiritual heritage of each other.

The gala concert opened with the song &quot;&Yacute;aşa m&auml;hriban Arkadag&quot;. The performance of the folklore ensemble &quot;Dokma&ccedil;ylar&quot; in one number, combining singing, music and dance, expressed the boundless love and respect of the Turkmen people for the Hero Arkadag.

The concert was continued by masters of culture and art from the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan. Their performances reflected the rich traditions and originality of the folk and modern art of these countries. The unique sound of folk instruments, modern rhythms, pleasant voices of singers and dances with national coloring were perceived with special enthusiasm. The numbers were distinguished by their genre diversity, demonstrating the rich potential of the national art of the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan.

During the concert, famous folk and pop singers, as well as renowned musicians of our country, demonstrated their skills. They performed the best works of Turkmen song and music art - songs about love, friendship and the beautiful world that surrounds us. Their melodic performance was met with thunderous applause from the audience.

Performances by the State Dance Ensemble, the Dehistan Folklore Ensemble, and the Galkynyş, N&auml;zli, and Meňli dance groups added to the solemnity of the event.

Along with famous artists, young performers who are just beginning their creative path also performed at the festive concert. This became a confirmation of the inexhaustible talent of our people and the continuity of the development of national art.

One of the main features of this concert was the beautiful seascape, images created by interactive fountains, harmony of light, color and sound. A special festive atmosphere was created by video footage shown on large monitors in the center and around the stage.

The song &quot;Garaşyp &yacute;azlaryň joşan wagtyna&quot;, with the words and music of Hero-Arkadag, became a real gift for the participants of the concert. The beautiful melody and deep meaning of the song evoked inspired feelings in the audience, leaving unique impressions in the heart of each participant of the celebration.

According to tradition, the concert ended with the ancient dance kushtdepdi - a wonderful example of folklore, uniting national traditions and being an integral part of world culture, embodied the main content of the joint concert - a holiday of creation and unity in the name of peace and progress. After all, it is creative relationships that open up great opportunities for bringing peoples closer together.

The powerful final chord of the concert was the song of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, &ldquo;&Ouml;ňe, &ouml;ňe, diňe &ouml;ňe, jan Watanym T&uuml;rkmenistan!&rdquo; performed by all participants of the festive event, which with all clarity reflected the great pride of the Turkmen people for the current sovereign Fatherland, striving for a bright future.

The results of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries were the subject of a special briefing with the participation of numerous domestic and foreign journalists.

As previously reported, the international high-level Forum, held from August 5 to 8 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, was attended by heads of state and government, high-ranking officials from more than 100 countries, about 50 international organizations, and representatives of more than 20 leading companies. More than 160 media representatives from about 40 countries gathered to widely cover the Conference, organized by the UN once a decade, and the significant events held on its sidelines.

Commenting on the results of the international Forum, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov emphasized that it was a vibrant and active meeting of government representatives, development partners, experts, civil society and youth, united by a common goal - to build a better future for 32 landlocked developing countries and their peoples. The key condition for success, according to him, will be strengthening the network of national coordinators - those who will be able to ensure constant monitoring, coordination and reporting throughout the entire process of its implementation.

&ndash; The name Avaza was already associated with health, recreation and tourism. Now the name also symbolizes hope and opportunity for 32 landlocked developing countries, Rabab Fatima emphasized.

On 8 August, the closing plenary session of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries was held, bringing together high-level officials from LLDCs, international organizations, as well as representatives of the private sector and civil society.

The agenda included a review of the results of the forums and high-level roundtable meetings held within the framework of the international Conference, as well as consideration of the draft Avaza Political Declaration and the announcement of the Avaza Action Programme.

One of the first topics of discussion was the reports on the results of thematic round tables devoted to such issues as simplification of trade operations, modernization of transport and energy infrastructure, attracting investment, adaptation to climate change, high technology and innovation.

As noted, the interactive format of the meetings facilitated the exchange of experience and the development of specific recommendations aimed at the economic development of landlocked developing countries. The participants of the meeting expressed confidence that the practical implementation of these recommendations will help solve the problems faced by LLDCs and build a more inclusive, sustainable and happy future.

Particular attention was paid to the results of the forums held within the framework of the Conference, which became an effective platform for dialogue between government agencies, the private sector, youth, parliamentarians and civil society, and created conditions for identifying new opportunities in terms of investment and innovation. During the discussion, the speakers noted the need to strengthen partnerships, use financial resources and exchange technologies to address the problems existing in the LLDCs. The participants of the meeting, noting that they agree with the provisions of the Declaration, emphasized the importance of civil society participation in its practical implementation, which is a key condition for achieving sustainable results.

Then, in accordance with the agenda of the meeting, the Conference report was approved, which sets out the main results and recommendations of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. At the plenary session of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, a general debate was held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Participants at the event &ndash; representatives of governments, international organizations, the private sector and civil society &ndash; emphasized the need for a comprehensive and coordinated approach to addressing the challenges faced by LLDCs. The debates identified specific goals and initiatives to improve the effectiveness of ongoing programs and expand partnerships at the regional and global levels.

The issues discussed at the plenary session included the development of transport infrastructure and the creation of modern transport corridors. As noted, optimization of the specialized sphere is the main factor in minimizing logistical barriers, increasing trade volumes and the competitiveness of the innovative economy. Particular attention was paid to the modernization of railway and automobile routes, the development of port infrastructure and the introduction of innovative technologies in the transport sector. In this regard, examples were given of the successful implementation of large infrastructure projects that improved the interconnectivity of regional markets and brought them closer together.

During the discussions, the need to attract capital investment in the transport segment was emphasized. Those gathered noted that effective infrastructure development is not limited to the construction of new facilities, it also requires the modernization of existing ones, maintaining their resistance to climate change and other risks.

The main issues brought up for discussion included improving logistics systems and strengthening trade partnerships to increase the openness of trade operations. As noted, constructive interstate relations help reduce freight transportation times and strengthen trust between partners. In this regard, joint initiatives to harmonize customs procedures are of particular importance.

The session participants also discussed the prospects for creating regional logistics centers to improve the quality of services. As was emphasized, increasing cooperation involves not only the participation of government agencies, but also requires the active involvement of the private sector and international organizations.

Today, digital trade and innovative technologies play a decisive role in the development of the RSNVM. Participants in the plenary session noted that the development of a corresponding digital system allows for the expansion of electronic platforms, the development of electronic commerce and the introduction of high technologies, which in turn increases the efficiency of trade procedures and accelerates entry into the global market.

The session also emphasized the important role of agriculture in ensuring food abundance, creating new jobs and stimulating economic growth in the LLDCs. The participants identified the introduction of advanced agricultural technology and increasing labor productivity in agriculture as priority tasks. In this regard, a strategy for supporting small and medium-sized farms, which constitute a key segment of agricultural production and ensure the supply of food to the population at the local level, was discussed.

The emphasis was placed on the system of storage and processing of agricultural products. At the same time, the possibilities of introducing sustainable agricultural practices aimed at preserving natural resources and adapting to climate change were considered. The participants of the session emphasized the importance of integrating national and regional strategies for agricultural development.

Those gathered also noted the need to intensify the attraction of investments and financial support for development projects in the LLDCs. As was emphasized, the implementation of large-scale infrastructure, technological and social initiatives requires significant investments. In this regard, emphasis was placed on the special role of international financial institutions, investors, the private sector and states in creating a favorable investment climate.

Special attention was paid to issues of ensuring gender equality, empowerment of women in LLDCs. As noted by the session participants, equality of women and men is an integral part of sustainable development, social justice and economic prosperity. Women occupy a significant position in various segments of the economy, in particular, in the agricultural and private sectors, education and health systems. And it is important to support and expand women&#39;s participation in activities in these areas.

The current plenary session of the Third UN Conference on LLDCs has become a significant stage in enhancing cooperation and consolidating the efforts of these countries. Its participants confirmed the importance of ensuring sustainable development and prosperity throughout the region through joint efforts to expand infrastructure, improve logistics and agriculture, promote gender equality, and intensify investment.

General debates were held at the plenary session of the UN Conference in Avaza

Within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC), held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, a meeting of national coordinators of LLDCs and UN Resident Coordinators was held on August 6 on the topic of &ldquo;Studying strategies for the implementation of action programs in national policies and development plans to ensure coordination and cooperation.&rdquo;

This is one of the important events on the sidelines of the representative International Forum, aimed at developing cooperation in solving the problems facing the RNCDM and increasing the effectiveness of the work carried out in this area.

The presentations particularly emphasized the importance of ensuring consistency between national priorities and international commitments. In particular, the need for the fastest possible integration of the Avaza Action Programme into national development strategies was noted, and a range of priority tasks facing LLDC national coordinators in this regard was identified, who are assigned a significant role in expressing the priorities of the countries they represent and in strengthening relations with UN organizations and structures.

As is known, the network of national coordinators was established in 2022 by the Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States to facilitate and coordinate the implementation of the LLDCs&#39; Programmes of Action at the national level, which opened up new opportunities for achieving the objectives. UN Resident Coordinators, in turn, participate in the development and implementation of projects, providing them with technical and financial support.

The meeting participants emphasized the importance of further enhancing the established productive cooperation between LLDC national coordinators and UN resident coordinators to adapt the Sustainable Development Goals to the specifics of each country and successfully implement the 2030 Agenda, taking into account international initiatives and national priorities. As noted, these complementary structures can expand interaction by creating common platforms and enhancing information exchange.

A separate topic of discussion was innovative approaches and best practices related to the implementation of the Avaza Action Programme. The meeting participants noted the importance of creating partnership platforms that facilitate the exchange of knowledge, information and experience, as well as combining efforts to implement joint projects with transit countries. This, in the general opinion, will directly contribute to the consolidation of efforts and more effective use of existing opportunities.

The discussion included a mutually interested exchange of views on effective ways to jointly implement the key tasks outlined in the new Program, which serves as a guide to action for the next decade. In this regard, the need to continue the established constructive dialogue, deepen multilateral cooperation, and use innovative approaches to achieve sustainable and inclusive growth was emphasized.

The creation of interdepartmental working groups with the participation of representatives of various ministries and industry departments (transport, trade, finance, planning), as well as the development of a corresponding Roadmap were named as an effective mechanism. Great importance should be given to explaining the importance of the Avaza Action Program to government officials, representatives of the private sector and civil society, holding information events to ensure their effective participation in its implementation, which will ensure a comprehensive approach to solving the problems facing the LLDCs.

At the end of the meeting, the LLDC National Coordinators and UN Resident Coordinators expressed their gratitude to the Turkmen side for the high organizational level of the event and expressed confidence that such meetings, joint efforts and exchange of experience will accelerate the implementation of the Avaza Action Programme and its integration into national LLDC development programmes and strategies, becoming the basis for new initiatives aimed at building a prosperous and sustainable future for all.

The Private Sector Forum, which was held within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, has ended in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

The thematic session &ldquo;Development Opportunities for LLDCs&rdquo; discussed measures aimed at sustainable and inclusive development of landlocked countries through strategic use of their potential in the rapidly developing global economy. The session was organized jointly with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

As noted, landlocked developing countries make up a significant portion of the global economy, but they face certain challenges due to their geographic location. The lack of direct access to seaports creates logistical, transport, and economic difficulties.

At the same time, LLDCs have enormous potential. Modern technologies, expanded regional cooperation and innovative approaches to economic management open up new prospects for them. In particular, digitalization and the introduction of modern information and communication technologies increase access to global markets and financial services, which in turn contributes to the development of entrepreneurship.

It was also emphasized that investments in sustainable industry will help accelerate economic growth and create new jobs. As a specialized agency of the UN, UNIDO supports the development of environmentally friendly industries in LLDCs.

Energy accessibility is recognized as the basis for any development, and the importance of implementing sustainable energy solutions and energy-saving technologies has been emphasized. The private sector is a key driver of reforms in this area. Investments in renewable energy sources, innovative technologies and production not only ensure economic development, but also help reduce harmful impacts on the environment.

It was noted that neutral Turkmenistan, pursuing an &quot;open door&quot; and good-neighborliness policy, is implementing specific measures to form a multi-vector network of international transit transport corridors. Large projects are being implemented jointly with foreign partners to create a coordinated regional and interregional logistics system connecting Central Asia, Europe, the Caspian, Black and Baltic Sea regions, the Near and Middle East, South and Southeast Asia. There was general agreement that the combined efforts of governments, the private sector and the international community will help transform the geographical challenges of LLDCs into opportunities for sustainable and inclusive growth. Speakers noted that only through joint action can favourable conditions for long-term economic development be created.

The session, co-organised with the UN Global Compact, focused on issues of financing and investment.

As noted, ensuring broad access to financial resources is a key condition for solving economic and infrastructure problems. The creation of effective financing mechanisms is recognized as a priority for achieving sustainable and inclusive growth.

Digitalization of financial services and innovative solutions open up new opportunities to expand access to finance. Mobile platforms and other technologies help remove barriers and reduce the costs of banking operations. These mechanisms are especially important for supporting entrepreneurship, the basis of economic growth in LLDCs.

The reports noted the importance of international cooperation with financial institutions to attract investment in large infrastructure projects. Such initiatives should be aligned with national development strategies and take into account the specific features of each country.

According to experts, expanding financing in LLDCs requires a comprehensive approach, including measures such as developing financial markets, introducing innovations, strengthening cooperation and intensifying international support.

The Forum then continued with a thematic session on &ldquo;Digital Development&rdquo;, organized jointly with the International Telecommunication Union.

The presentations noted that the rapid growth of digital technologies is helping to accelerate social and economic development in LLDCs. However, this requires governments and the private sector to increase strategic investments in digital infrastructure and stimulate innovative digital solutions across all sectors.

Developed digital infrastructure improves cross-border connections, reduces trade barriers and facilitates the integration of LLDCs into the global digital economy, increasing the investment attractiveness of these countries, especially in e-commerce and technology. Increased investment stimulates the economy and opens up new business opportunities.

The speakers stressed the importance of developing other infrastructures, as well as digital technologies. Only such a comprehensive approach will allow achieving sustainable economic growth in the LLDCs.

The forum concluded with a high-level final session, which identified priority areas for ensuring sustainable development of landlocked countries through the active involvement of the private sector in the implementation of the Avaza Action Programme.

The results of the Forum were reflected in the adopted final document.

Within the framework of the exhibition, special importance was attached to the exposition of works of decorative and applied art of friendly states. The current show has become a unique cultural event, uniting rich traditions and modern creativity of the participating countries. Painting, sculpture, textile products, ceramics, jewelry, as well as works of crafts reflecting the centuries-old heritage and national culture of the peoples are presented here.

On August 5, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya Mohammed Yunus Menfi. The guest arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.

Having warmly welcomed the distinguished guest to the Turkmen land, the head of state expressed gratitude for his acceptance of the invitation to participate in the Third UN Conference on LLDCs, which is held under the motto &quot;Promoting Progress through Partnerships&quot;.

Mohammed Yunus Menfi expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to discuss priority areas of interstate dialogue during a personal meeting. He noted that his country highly appreciates cooperation with neutral Turkmenistan, which puts forward initiatives aimed at strengthening global peace and trust.

The leader of the friendly country also expressed confidence that this Conference will be important for creating favorable conditions for transit transportation, providing the necessary opportunities for countries that do not have direct access to sea terminals, and establishing an effective partnership for the sake of a bright future for the peoples living in these states.

The parties noted the great potential for developing bilateral relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Having emphasized that within the framework of trade and economic cooperation there are new opportunities for expanding interaction in the oil and gas sector, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that a systematic dialogue will be useful for finding and implementing new forms and mechanisms of partnership in this industry.

At the end of the meeting, the heads of state, having confirmed the commitment of the two countries to the progressive development of friendly relations, wished each other good health and success in responsible state activities.
