Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov presented a report to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting on the results of the work done in January-August 2025 to increase oil and gas production and expand their supply routes to world markets.

Reporting on the achieved technical and economic indicators, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the oil production plan is being fulfilled by the State Concern &quot;T&uuml;rkmennebit&quot;. The oil refineries of the State Concern are achieving positive indicators in oil refining, production of gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricating oils, and production of natural and associated gas.

Summarizing the report, the President noted that further modernization of the oil and gas sector is a key task. Various projects were implemented with their participation, in particular, the project of a gas chemical complex in the Balkan velayat for the production of 386 thousand tons of polyethylene, 81 thousand tons of polypropylene worth more than 3 billion 400 million US dollars, as well as a project of a plant for cleaning commercial gas from sulfur as part of the development of the Galkynysh field with a capacity of 10 billion cubic meters annually and worth over 1 billion 484 million US dollars.

We can also mention the project of a complex in the structure of the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after S.A. Niyazov for the production of 350 thousand tons of superphosphate and 100 thousand tons of ammonium sulfate per year worth 682 million US dollars.

In this regard, the head of the friendly state expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the favorable conditions provided to Korean companies for fruitful work in the Turkmen market.

The interlocutors emphasized the presence of enormous potential for activating targeted cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

As the head of state noted, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, the UN General Assembly declared 2025 the &quot;International Year of Peace and Trust&quot;. In this regard, an international forum will be held in Ashgabat on December 12. This significant date coincides with the 30th anniversary of our country&#39;s neutrality.
