On October 27, consultations on countering modern challenges and threats were held in Moscow between the foreign affairs agencies of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, with the participation of representatives from the relevant authorities of both countries.

This is the third strategic goal, which we are consistently pursuing, noted President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Regarding the fourth goal, with its colossal hydrocarbon reserves, Turkmenistan has begun developing a full-fledged national industry for natural gas processing and the production of high-quality products aimed at foreign markets.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Italian businesses have been present in Turkmenistan for many years in the oil and gas sector and the hotel industry, and that a number of projects are being implemented in construction and trade. A partnership has been established with the leading Italian oil company Eni, which has been operating in Turkmenistan since 2008. A conference will be held in Ashgabat on November 1 to mark the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of the national manat

At the international conference &ldquo;Turkmenistan Oil and Gas &ndash; 2025&rdquo; held in Ashgabat, Irina Luryeva delivered a report on the current state and future prospects of the Galkynysh field development. Doctor of Technical Sciences Irina Luryeva, head of the laboratory for field development and international gas pipelines at the Scientific Research Natural Gas Institute of Turkmengaz, addressed two key issues.

Specifically, regarding the strategy and current state of the Galkynysh field, Irina Luryeva stated: 
&ldquo;The development of the Galkynysh field is being carried out according to a seven-stage development strategy. Currently, the first stage involves pilot-industrial operations. There are 52 operating wells, and 7 more wells are being prepared for commissioning. In addition, 8 wells are actively being drilled.&rdquo;

Irina Luryeva noted that the average design flow rate of the wells is 1.5 million cubic meters/day, and the reservoir capacity can support up to 3 million cubic meters/day in the long term. In 2022, three wells with a stable flow of 3 million cubic meters/day were commissioned. According to forecasts made together with Gaffney Cline experts, the stable gas production period for each stage will exceed 30 years.

Regarding future development, Irina Luryeva stated: 
&ldquo;In the near future, the second, third, and fourth stages are planned. Gas production rates will gradually increase, and the development strategy allows for efficient allocation of investments, taking into account the experience of operating wells.&rdquo;

Furthermore, with the accumulation of new geological and production data, the geological-hydrodynamic model will be updated, which will help assess production efficiency and optimize development projects. Once all stages are fully implemented, the total annual gas production at the field could reach approximately 200 billion cubic meters.

Irina Luryeva also emphasized the importance of technological and environmental issues, including drilling operations, construction of gas processing plants, and neutralization of acidic gases and CO₂. Projects are planned to inject carbon dioxide into the water-bearing layers of the field and depleted reservoirs of neighboring fields, which allows the creation of technogenic reservoirs and reduces environmental impacts.

Doctor of Technical Sciences Irina Luryeva&nbsp;holds over 20 patents and more than 200 scientific publications. She graduated from the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction in 1988, has been working at the Scientific Research Natural Gas Institute of Turkmengaz since 2006, heads the laboratory, and advises young specialists. Her scientific interests are related to hydrodynamic modeling, field development technologies, and well operation.

On October 25, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated dog breeders and the people of Turkmenistan on the occasion of Turkmen Alabay Day, celebrated as a symbol of reverence for the national heritage in the Era of Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State.

&ldquo;This unique holiday, celebrated in honor of the Turkmen Alabay, has special significance in the International Year of Peace and Trust. Turkmen Alabays possess an innate quality of being protectors of the home and peace, and they are a true embodiment of loyalty.

Today, the Turkmen Alabay, having preserved its original appearance, has become one of the symbols of beauty and of the material and spiritual values of our people. The Turkmen nation, known for breeding purebred horses, has also created an exemplary system for breeding pedigree dogs. Our ancestors instilled in Alabays such qualities as devotion to their owner, vigilance, intelligence, and courage. Purebred Alabays are a remarkable contribution of the ancient Turkmen people to world culture,&rdquo; the Head of State emphasized.

&ldquo;In the Era of Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State, all necessary conditions are being created for the advancement of the national art of dog breeding, which has deep historical roots. To develop this important field, the International Association of Turkmen Alabay Dogs (T&uuml;rkmen alaba&yacute; itleri) was established in Turkmenistan, providing a strong impetus for expanding cooperation with various countries around the world.

Furthermore, to promote dog breeding in Turkmenistan and to widely popularize achievements in this area internationally, the magazine &lsquo;T&uuml;rkmeniň nusgalyk alaba&yacute;y&rsquo; (&lsquo;The Exemplary Turkmen Alabay&rsquo;) was founded. The country has also established Alabay centers that meet international standards.

In addition, Turkmen Alabay Day is celebrated annually, featuring various competitions. Alabays bred by local dog breeders are invited to participate in the contest for the title of &lsquo;Turkmen Brave Alabay of the Year&rsquo; (&Yacute;ylyň t&uuml;rkmen edermen alaba&yacute;y). This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the excellent qualities of Turkmen Alabays, rightfully regarded as an embodiment of beauty. It serves as a clear example of the comprehensive efforts being made to preserve their purity and promote them worldwide.

We will continue to pay great attention to the development of dog breeding, to strengthening effective international cooperation in this area, to exchanging experience with other countries, and to further improving the living and working conditions of our dog breeders,&rdquo; the Head of State noted.

On October 24, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived on an official visit to the Italian Republic.

As part of the visit, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the &ldquo;Altare della Patria&rdquo; (&ldquo;Altar of the Fatherland&rdquo;) memorial complex.

That same day, a meeting took place at the Quirinal Palace between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Italy Sergio Mattarella.

Warmly welcoming the distinguished guest from Turkmenistan, the President of Italy emphasized that his country highly values its constructive cooperation with Turkmenistan, based on the principles of mutual respect.

Expressing gratitude for the invitation to visit the Italian Republic and for the hospitality extended, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the current bilateral meeting would make a significant contribution to the further strengthening of interstate partnership.

&ldquo;We highly appreciate the Italian Republic&rsquo;s commitment to developing close cooperation with Turkmenistan. In turn, we are also interested in expanding our partnership with Italy &mdash; both on a bilateral and multilateral basis,&rdquo; 
said President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting in this regard the importance of the first &ldquo;Central Asia&ndash;Italy&rdquo; Summit held in April of this year.

During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov mentioned that Turkmenistan is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its permanent neutrality this year and, in commemoration of this event, an International Forum will be held in Ashgabat on December 12. He invited President Sergio Mattarella to take part in the forum.

Thanking him for the invitation, the head of the friendly state emphasized that Italy highly values the important role of Turkmenistan in strengthening regional peace and stability.

Presidents of Turkmenistan and Italy discuss development of interstate dialogue

Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported at a government meeting on October 23 on the international educational online olympiads, competitions, and scientific and practical conferences planned for November and December at higher education institutions across the country.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the olympiads and scientific and practical forums planned for digital and hybrid formats will include the participation of representatives from major international universities, research centers, and international organizations, alongside students, professors, and faculty from higher education institutions. In this regard, Orazdurdyeva submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state&#39;s consideration.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that our country places particular importance on developing the creative skills of the younger generation and strengthening international partnerships in this area. Having approved the proposal to hold international forums and Olympiads at relevant higher education institutions in Turkmenistan using a digital system, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work.

President of Turkmenistan approved a plan for international olympiads and conferences at Turkmen universities

The 30th International Conference and Exhibition &quot;Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan &ndash; 2025,&quot; organized by the state concerns T&uuml;rkmengaz and T&uuml;rkmennebit, concluded in Ashgabat on October 24.

This year&#39;s conference was held under the theme: &quot;Shaping the Future of Global Energy in the International Year of Peace and Trust &ndash; Innovation, Energy Transition, and Strategic Cooperation.&quot; The global event brought together over 1,200 delegates from 70 countries, and over a hundred exhibiting companies presented their latest technologies.

The main topics of OGT were the monetization of colossal resources, the development of the TAPI gas pipeline, and the strategic transition to environmentally friendly solutions, such as the construction of hybrid solar and wind power plants. In essence, the forum demonstrated the country&#39;s new, diversified energy strategy to the world.

Presentations emphasized the role of Turkmenistan, with its colossal natural gas reserves, in ensuring energy security and diversifying energy exports. It was noted that our country&#39;s significant natural resources create a solid foundation for strategic planning and international cooperation.

The conference also included informal discussions, during which executives from leading international oil and gas companies operating in Turkmenistan shared their views on business opportunities in one of the world&#39;s strategically important energy markets and exchanged experiences with Turkmen companies in establishing long-term cooperation and implementing projects.

Special attention is paid to the development of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s petrochemical industry. Large investments are being attracted for the production of ammonia, mineral fertilizers, polymers, and other high value-added products. These objectives contribute to the growth of domestic production, job creation, and the adoption of foreign technologies.

Digitalization and the broad implementation of innovative technologies also play a significant role in the development of the oil and gas sector. New training centers are being established to improve the skills of industry workers, and experience exchange programs are being carried out within the framework of international cooperation. Thus, the oil and gas complex regularly familiarizes itself with advanced global technologies.

At the forum, representatives of government bodies, international organizations, and oil and gas industry experts discussed opportunities, future projects, and Turkmenistan&rsquo;s role in the region in detail. As noted in the congratulatory message from the President of Turkmenistan, the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project, as well as the Serhetabat-Herat gas pipeline, are of great importance for ensuring the region&rsquo;s energy security and developing energy cooperation.

The exhibition features technologies from leading global companies as well as works by Turkmen entrepreneurs in the oil and gas, logistics, and service sectors. For example, China&rsquo;s CNPC, Italy&rsquo;s Eni, Baker Hughes, Japan&rsquo;s Sumitomo, ADNOC from Abu Dhabi, and other international partners showcased their innovative solutions and joint projects.

The forum&rsquo;s plenary sessions covered comprehensive topics including innovation, energy transition, environmental protection, and carbon emissions reduction. Particular emphasis was placed on expanding export routes for Turkmenistan&rsquo;s natural gas and modernizing the energy and petrochemical industries. Important tasks also included the implementation of digital systems and technological innovations in the oil and gas sector.

Turkmenistan&rsquo;s rich natural gas reserves not only form the foundation of the country&rsquo;s energy security but also make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of the region. These opportunities foster expanded international cooperation, attract new investments, and support the development of technological partnerships.

Thus, major projects in the oil and gas sector, the introduction of modern technologies, and the expansion of transport and logistics capabilities provide a strong impetus for the development of various sectors of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s economy. On October 12, the presentation of a collection of poems by Mahtumkuly Fragi, translated into Armenian, took place at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturian and members of the delegation of the friendly country, as well as some heads of the education sector, faculty and students of the university.

On this occasion, an exhibition was launched here, which presents works of national fine and decorative arts, as well as museum exhibits. The works of artists and sculptors made a great impression on the participants of the event.

The musical accompaniment gave the celebration a special flavor.

It should be noted that the International Forum &quot;Interrelation of Times and Civilizations &ndash; the basis of Peace and Development&quot;, held on October 11 under the chairmanship of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, became a historically significant event aimed at widely popularizing the work of Mahtumkuly Fragi.

Mahtumkuly Fragi occupies a worthy place among the outstanding literary figures not only of the Turkmen people, but also of the world due to his philosophical teachings and poetic works. The work related to the comprehensive study of his creative heritage is widely supported by prestigious international organizations and in different countries. The translation of the poet&#39;s poems into Armenian is a vivid confirmation of this.

Currently, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, measures are being successfully implemented to study the literary heritage of Mahtumkuly on a scientific basis and popularize it in the world. The poet&#39;s thoughts and ideas reflected in his work are of great importance for the moral education of young people. Fraga&#39;s views on the future are the spiritual heritage not only of the Turkmen people, but also of all mankind. In the modern historical period, the importance of Mahtumkuly&#39;s poetic heritage has gone beyond the national framework and has become an integral part of world literature, was emphasized in the speeches of representatives of the Turkmen side.

Thus, the translation of the poems of the great classic poet of Turkmen literature into Armenian became another step in strengthening cultural ties and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
