Turkmenistan’s Charity Fund Sent Humanitarian Aid to the Afghan People

On November 6, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the venues of the upcoming celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country&rsquo;s permanent neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust.

Turkmen Delegation Participates in the International Oil and Gas Exhibition ADIPEC-2025

A conference organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan, marking the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s Permanent Neutrality, was held at the M. S. Narikbayev Kazakh State Law University in Astana.

Opening the solemn event, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Batyr Rejepov emphasized the historical significance of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s declaration of Neutrality on December 12, 1995, which was enshrined in a UN General Assembly resolution and demonstrated Turkmenistan&rsquo;s steadfast commitment to the ideals of peace and mutual respect.

Representatives of the Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan offered heartfelt congratulations, noting that Turkmenistan serves as a vivid example of a consistent and responsible approach to international relations.

A conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality was held in Astana

Gurbanaly Amanalyyev was born in 1971 in the Esenguly district of Balkan province. From childhood, he showed a deep interest in folk music and playing the dutar. Between 1981 and 1986, he studied in the dutar department of the Esenguly Children&rsquo;s Music School. Continuing his musical education, from 1986 to 1990 he studied in the folk instruments department of the Turkmen State Music School named after Dangatar Ovezov, earning a qualification as a dutar teacher.

After completing his military service (1990&ndash;1992), he began his professional career as a dutar instructor at the children&rsquo;s music school in his home district. His creative and leadership talents developed in line with modern cultural standards.

The path of culture and mentorship

From 1995 to 1999, Gurbanaly Amanalyyev worked as the artistic director of the Department of Culture in the city of Turkmenbashi. In subsequent years, he continued performing on folk instruments in the fields of education and within cultural and sports centers. He not only worked as a musician but also actively encouraged the creation of new artistic groups.

He led various ensembles and made a significant contribution to the formation and development of folklore groups such as &ldquo;Dagdan&rdquo;, &ldquo;Gara altyn&rdquo;, and &ldquo;Shagadam.&rdquo; Between 2003 and 2005, he directed a folk instrument ensemble that regularly participated in festive events.

Work with children and international achievements

In 2008, Gurbanaly Amanalyyev was appointed director of the House of Culture of the TNGIZT Coastal Oil Loading Enterprise. Under his leadership, new creative groups were formed &mdash; the children&rsquo;s dance and folklore ensemble &ldquo;Hazar Merjenleri&rdquo; (&ldquo;Pearls of the Caspian&rdquo;) and the vocal group &ldquo;Tolkun&rdquo; (&ldquo;Wave&rdquo;). These groups achieved success not only within Turkmenistan but also internationally.

The &ldquo;Hazar Merjenleri&rdquo; ensemble participated in the &ldquo;Awaza &mdash; Land of Friendship&rdquo; International Children&rsquo;s Festival in 2010, 2013, and 2014, earning diplomas of distinction. The ensemble also represented Turkmen culture at international festivals in Bursa, Istanbul, and Antalya (Turkey).

Success in the &ldquo;Golden Age of the Turkmen&rdquo; contest

Under Gurbanaly Amanalyyev&rsquo;s leadership, his groups have repeatedly won awards in the &ldquo;Golden Age of the Turkmen&rdquo; contest organized by the President of Turkmenistan. Thanks to his mentorship, thirteen of his students took part in the national competition &ldquo;Pearls of Independence.&rdquo; Among them, B&auml;g&uuml;l Muhammedova, Abdysetdar Geldiyev, Mayag&ouml;zel M&auml;mmetgylyyeva, G&uuml;l&ouml;wser M&auml;ti&yacute;ewa, Kerem Hangeldi&yacute;ev, Arzuw Agany&yacute;azowa, and others received Presidential diplomas and &ldquo;Gulbaba&rdquo; prizes.

Several other students, including Muhammet Meredov, became winners of the &ldquo;Resonate, My Homeland&rdquo; competition and received high honors.

A devoted guardian of folk traditions

Gurbanaly Amanalyyev works creatively not only with children but also with adults. He founded the folklore ensemble &ldquo;Nebitchi Zenanlary&rdquo; (&ldquo;Women of the Oil Workers&rdquo;), which performed successfully at the &ldquo;Lale&rdquo; (Tulip) Festival. In 2023, the &ldquo;Tolkun&rdquo; group won an award at an international competition.

In 2025, one of his students, Arzuw Orazovna Agany&yacute;azowa, became a winner of the &ldquo;Golden Age of the Turkmen&rdquo; contest and, by Presidential Decree, was awarded a laptop, a tablet, and a diploma.

In creative pursuit &ndash; music, dance, and literature

Gurbanaly Amanalyyev has gained extensive experience in preserving folk art and integrating national traditions into educational activities. He reinterpreted and recorded several versions of the famous coastal Turkmen dance &ldquo;Kushtdepdi.&rdquo; He also composes music based on poems by folk poets and actively enriches his ensembles&rsquo; repertoires with new works.

He strives to deliver modern songs dedicated to the people and the beloved Motherland through children&rsquo;s performances.

Gurbanaly Amanalyyev is widely respected among the people as a hardworking, sincere, and dedicated leader who has earned genuine love and recognition.

On November 5, a meeting took place in Ashgabat between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov and Governor of North Khorasan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran Bahman Nouri.

An industry meeting summarized the fuel and gas sector's performance for the first ten months of 2025

On November 5, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the &quot;Arkadag&quot; park of the new &ldquo;smart&rdquo; city, where Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan Deryageldi Orazov and the city&rsquo;s Hyakim (Mayor) Gulshat Mammedova reported on the ongoing work to install sculptures of the &ldquo;heavenly&rdquo; Akhal-Teke horses and a composition depicting a trade caravan, in accordance with previously given instructions.

Sculptures of Akhal-Teke Horses to be installed in the “Arkadag” park

On November 5, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he chaired a meeting of the Board of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The agenda of the meeting included discussions on the Foundation&rsquo;s work and medical activities carried out during the reporting period, amendments to its Charter, international cooperation, draft Resolutions on approving the amended Charter and introducing a Founder into the Foundation&rsquo;s structure, as well as the allocation of funds.

The Foundation&rsquo;s Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Recep Bazarov, reported that, following the recommendations of Hero-Arkadag, the Foundation&rsquo;s Charter had been revised and supplemented to improve its operations, and a draft of the updated document had been prepared. In particular, the new version of the Charter provides for the introduction of a Founder into the Foundation&rsquo;s structure and defines the Founder&rsquo;s powers.

Executive Director &ndash; Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Foundation, Oguldzahan Atabayeva, then presented a report on the medical work carried out during the relevant period.

It was noted that to date, more than 700 surgeries have been performed on children across the country, and inpatient treatment has been provided. From January to October of this year alone, 163 children have undergone surgeries. In addition, around 900 children received rehabilitation and therapeutic procedures. Young patients remain under the special care of highly qualified pediatric specialists.

Speaking about the strengthening of cooperation with reputable international organizations, Atabayeva emphasized that relevant agreements have been reached and bilateral documents signed. It was highlighted that proposals for cooperation with the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov are regularly received from various countries around the world.

Next, the Foundation&rsquo;s legal adviser, Mayagozel Hodjamberdiyeva, reported on the draft Resolutions on approving the amended Charter of the Foundation to further improve its operations and on introducing a Founder into the Foundation&rsquo;s structure.

Hodjamberdiyeva also reported on the ongoing work to ensure the realization of children&rsquo;s rights to life, development, health care, and education, as well as the provision of services and support for children in accordance with international standards, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Law of Turkmenistan &ldquo;On State Guarantees of the Rights of the Child,&rdquo; the National Action Plan for the Implementation of Children&rsquo;s Rights in Turkmenistan for 2023&ndash;2028, and other legal acts.

Hero-Arkadag of Turkmenistan holds meeting of the Board of the Charitable Foundation

On November 5, 2025, a solemn ceremony was held in Ankara to present the books authored by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, as a gift to the collection of the Presidential National Library located within the Presidential Palace Complex of the Republic of Turkey.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of T&uuml;rkiye in cooperation with the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) as part of the Week of Turkmen Literature and Creativity in T&uuml;rkiye. The ceremony was attended by Turkish state and public figures, renowned scholars and writers, cultural and art personalities, as well as representatives of the media.

The scientific works presented as a gift by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people reflect profound philosophical and humanistic ideas that form the foundation of the state policy and cultural heritage of Turkmenistan. These books make an important contribution to developing intercultural dialogue and strengthening spiritual cooperation between the peoples of Turkmenistan and T&uuml;rkiye.

Speakers at the ceremony emphasized that this act symbolizes the high level of brotherly relations between the two countries and peoples united by common historical and cultural roots.

The International Conference and Exhibition &quot;Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Industries of Turkmenistan&quot; (CIET-2025) concluded in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on November 4.

This large-scale event, which brought together leading global and domestic experts, executives from major companies, and representatives of financial institutions, became a key platform for identifying strategic directions for the development of the Turkmen economy.

A number of important bilateral agreements and memorandums of cooperation with international partners, including companies from Germany, Italy, China, and Russia, were signed on the sidelines of the forum. CIET-2025 Conference and Exhibition Concluded Successfully in Turkmenistan

On November 4, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov met with Charg&eacute; d&#39;Affaires of Afghanistan Fazal Muhammad Sabir in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister expressed sympathy and support to the Afghan diplomat in connection with the devastating earthquake in northern Afghanistan, which resulted in casualties and injuries.

Gurbanov noted that Turkmenistan received this news with deep sorrow and announced the country&#39;s readiness to provide humanitarian aid to the people of fraternal Afghanistan in the near future.

President of Turkmenistan arrived in Washington on a working visit

The Second United Nations World Summit for Social Development is taking place in Qatar from November 4 to 6. A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Minister of Labor and Social Protection Muhammedseit Silapov, is participating.

Turkmenistan participated in the Second UN World Summit for Social Development

The Summit of Heads of State of Central Asia and the United States will be held in Washington on November 6. The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, will participate in the event.

It is worth noting that the day before, U.S. President Donald Trump personally sent a letter to his Turkmen counterpart, inviting him to the White House for a meeting with other heads of state from Central Asia.

President of Turkmenistan to participate in the Central Asia–USA summit of Heads of State

The Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan and Japan&rsquo;s Sumitomo Corporation have signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement aimed at improving the reliability and continuity of the country&rsquo;s power supply.

The agreement covers a project for the supply of specialized equipment designed to prevent ice formation on overhead power transmission lines (PTLs). Icing on power lines is a serious challenge for energy systems in regions with variable climatic conditions, often leading to breakdowns and outages.

This partnership with a leading Japanese conglomerate underscores the priority Turkmenistan places on systematically strengthening the material and technical base of its energy sector and introducing advanced technologies to ensure reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply for domestic consumers.

On October 16, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan took place at the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. This creative action once again testifies to the importance of the cultural and humanitarian sphere in the strategic partnership of the two friendly states.

Centuries-old bonds of friendship, common history and culture are today an important factor contributing to the further rapprochement of fraternal peoples, strengthening their mutual understanding and trust, and expanding creative contacts.

This year, held under the motto &quot;The Storehouse of the Mind of Mahtumkuly Fragi&quot;, various events are being held throughout the country and abroad in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet and thinker.

In this regard, it should be noted that the International Forum &quot;Interrelation of Times and Civilizations &ndash; the basis of Peace and Development&quot;, which was held in Ashgabat on October 11 this year, was attended by the Presidents of the Republic of Armenia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, it should be noted that in the cultural and park complex &quot;Magtymguly Pyragy&quot; near the majestic monument of Mahtumkuly Fragi on the alley of famous classical poets and thinkers of world renown representing different countries and continents, a monument to the classic of Russian and world literature, writer Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, has been erected.

Recently, humanitarian contacts between the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan have acquired a deeper meaning and content. The interregional partnership between the two states has expanded, including in the educational sphere, and scientific and cultural exchanges are actively developing.

Cultural Days, held alternately in both countries, have become popular. The great interest shown in Turkmenistan in this event is evidenced by the crowded hall of the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center, which was chosen as the place of the grand opening. Representatives of the cultural sphere, the media, the creative intelligentsia, and numerous fans of the art of the fraternal people gathered here.

A bright action unfolded on the stage, in which the masters of culture and arts of the Russian Federation took part. The right to represent Russia fell to the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea &quot;Nalmes&quot; (artistic director &ndash; Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Kuban and the Republic of Abkhazia, People&#39;s Artist of the Republic of Adygea Aslan Khadzhaev). The team consists of highly professional versatile dancers who are able to embody complex choreographic tasks at a high performing level. The ensemble begins its performance with the ancient dance &quot;Islamey&quot;, reminiscent of birds in flight. Next in the program is a dance with daggers, a &quot;Necklace of folk dances of the Adyghe Diaspora&quot;, a choreographic composition &quot;Dancing Nalmes&quot;.

The choreographic novel &quot;Nalmes Nalkut&quot; (modern dance) uses elements of classical dance mixed with national Caucasian elements of movements.

The concert was decorated with a medley of ancient folk instruments and other creative performances. The audience rewarded the guests with a standing ovation.

An exhibition of works by photographers and works of applied art &ndash; &quot;Patchwork Mosaic of Russia&quot;, prepared by the V.D.Polenov State Russian House of Folk Art, has been launched in the lobby of the Mukam Palace.

As part of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation, members of the Russian delegation also took part in a flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Mahtumkuly Fragi, erected in the picturesque foothills of Kopetdag, and also visited the National Museum of the Turkmen Carpet.

Today, the winner of the XV International Chaikovsky Competition and winner of many other All-Russian and international competitions, soloist of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic, Russian pianist Dmitry Masleev held a master class at the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory.

Tomorrow, the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan will host a master class by soloists of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea &quot;Nalmes&quot; for students of the choreographic school and dance groups of Ashgabat. And in the evening, on the stage of the Mukam Palace, wonderful Russian dancers will once again demonstrate their art to residents and guests of the Turkmen capital.

A cultural program has also been prepared for guests from Russia, which includes acquaintance with the sights of Ashgabat and the unique exhibits of its museums.
