From November 17 to 21, products of the State Concern &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo; became the main economic driver of the week&rsquo;s trades on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The Concern&rsquo;s products &mdash; crude oil, general petroleum coke, and hydrotreated diesel fuel &mdash; were in high demand both in domestic and foreign markets.

During the four days of the week, successful deals were concluded for &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo; products, including crude oils &ldquo;SN-180&rdquo; and &ldquo;SN-600,&rdquo; general petroleum coke, and hydrotreated diesel fuel. Both domestic entrepreneurs and foreign businessmen, particularly representatives from the UAE, actively participated in the trading operations. The high demand for the Concern&rsquo;s products formed a key part of the week&rsquo;s economic dynamics and growth.

Besides &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit,&rdquo; other state and industrial entities of Turkmenistan also conducted several significant trade deals during the week: Ministry of Health and Pharmaceutical Industry sold thick extracts of Buyan root; Ministry of Light Industry concluded multiple deals for clean fleece, washed Karakul wool of various types, textile products, and yarn; State Concern &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmenhimi&yacute;a&rdquo; sold urea of grade &ldquo;B&rdquo;.

Foreign market participants from Kyrgyzstan, Estonia, Ukraine, and the UAE took part in trades across various sectors. Total financial results of the week: 9,150,505.68 USD and 278,156,280.00 manat.

On November 21, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov reported at a government meeting on the modernization of gas pipeline systems being carried out by the State Concern &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmengaz.&rdquo;

As reported, enterprises under the concern are undertaking the necessary work in this direction. Special attention is being given to strengthening the material and technical base of production capacities. The successful implementation of the planned tasks will contribute to further increasing the reliability of natural gas supplies to domestic consumers and to foreign markets.

President of Turkmenistan reviews report on the development of the fuel and energy complex

On November 21, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov reported at a government meeting on preparations for the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan scheduled for November 24&ndash;25.

It was noted that mutual visits and high-level meetings, held on a regular basis, play a key role in strengthening and developing Turkmen&ndash;Kazakh relations. President of Turkmenistan to visit Kazakhstan on November 24–25

On November 21, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, during which a number of issues concerning the country&rsquo;s public affairs were reviewed.

Chairwoman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova reported on preparations for the upcoming parliamentary session scheduled for November 22 of this year. The agenda includes discussions of the draft Laws of Turkmenistan &ldquo;On the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2026,&rdquo; &ldquo;On Virtual Assets,&rdquo; &ldquo;On Scientific Intellectual Property&rdquo; (new edition), as well as the ratification of an international treaty concluded between Turkmenistan and neighboring countries, and a Protocol introducing amendments to a Convention previously joined by Turkmenistan. The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the IV International Forum &quot;Fashion Commonwealth&quot;, which took place in St. Petersburg on November 19-20 this year, became a vivid testament to the country&#39;s activity in the humanitarian sphere within the CIS. Turkmenistan strengthens humanitarian cooperation in the CIS

The &quot;Balkan&quot; Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Yard (NTZ Avaza) launched its first domestically produced dry cargo vessel, the &quot;Gadamly&quot;.

The &quot;Gadamly&quot;, with a deadweight of 6,100 tons and a length of 123 meters, fully complies with international technical and operational standards. According to Eziz Matdyev, Deputy Chief Engineer at the &quot;Balkan&quot; Shipyard, the vessel is capable of carrying up to 240 cargo containers and operating autonomously for up to four days. Turkmenistan's first domestically produced dry cargo vessel, the "Gadamly", was launched

On November 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Joo Hyun-baek, in Ashgabat.

The idea of building a new oil refinery in Turkmenistan began taking shape in the mid-1960s. In 1965, a commission was appointed to select a site. Under the leadership of V.V. Abramov, Chairman of the State Construction Committee of the Turkmen SSR, several locations were inspected, and Site No. 3 was chosen &mdash; located 80 km northwest of today&rsquo;s Turkmenabat. Its key advantages were proximity to a railway and the Amu Darya River, good soil, and potential for future expansion.

A key factor in the feasibility study was the forecasted oil production, which was expected to reach 25 million tons by 1980. The project assignment was officially approved on February 12, 1970. On February 23, a ministerial order was issued to begin developing the launch complex and provide working drawings for the 1970&ndash;1971 construction phase.

Construction began under harsh conditions. Four days after the New Year of 1971, the first stake was driven into the ground in the Shagal area. A photo shows I.A. Aganov (far left), and the first construction group led by N.G. Sapozhkov (center). On February 15, the refinery&rsquo;s directorate began operating under the leadership of Nikolai Sergeevich Pastukhov, and on April 4, funding was opened.

Initially, the directorate was located in a single-story building in Turkmenabat. By October 1972, the staff had grown to more than 20 people, with an accounting department, procurement, and production engineering offices already functioning. Logistics were challenging: engineers and planners traveled up to 1000 km weekly to visit sites, and equipment had to be delivered from the Zerger station. On February 1, 1973, despite the severe cold and lack of heating, the directorate moved to the unfinished equipment base building.

Many pioneers left their names in the historical records: team leader N.S. Filonov, refinery director R.A. Muratov, his deputies V.S. Chuguev and R.Ya. Senkina, chief engineer Kh.M. Jamaldiev, and many others. Foreign specialists also participated in the construction, including those from East Germany (Marko Frank) and Czechoslovakia.

Alongside the refinery, the city itself began to grow. One photo shows the first house that marked the beginning of Seydi. The History of the Seydi Oil Refinery

A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Khodjamyrat Ashirmyradov, Governor of the Balkan Province, paid a working visit to the Gilan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the First Meeting of Caspian Region Governors, held in the city of Rasht.

Turkmenistan participated in the First meeting of Caspian region governors in Iran

The 10th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan Working Group on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation opened at the Yyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat on November 20. A representative delegation, led by Oleg Korobchenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, arrived in our country to participate.

10th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan working group on cooperation opened in Ashgabat

On November 18, the IRIS Institute and the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France held an international conference in Paris titled &ldquo;Turkmen-French Relations: Threats and Opportunities in the Modern World.&rdquo; The forum discussed potential collaboration in energy, ecology, water resources, digital technologies, space technologies, education, and culture.

Turkmenistan and the OSCE discussed priority areas of cooperation

Lecturers and students of the Yagshygeldy Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas participated in the scientific-practical conference &ldquo;Lu Ban Workshop,&rdquo; which was held at the Polytechnic University of Ningbo (China).

During the conference, participants had the opportunity to jointly discuss the opportunities and prospects of the international educational project &ldquo;Lu Ban Workshop.&rdquo; The project aims to strengthen international cooperation and currently covers 30 countries across Asia, Africa, and Europe.

In the International Year of Peace and Trust, celebrated in honor of the 30th anniversary of our beloved homeland&rsquo;s permanent neutrality, wonderful news arrived from New York, USA: the adoption of the resolution &ldquo;Avaza Political Declaration&rdquo; at the 18th plenary meeting of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, marking an important event not only for our country but for the entire international community.

This joyful and inspiring news delighted and filled all our compatriots with pride. It clearly demonstrates that our homeland&rsquo;s efforts, under the leadership of the respected President, to maintain peace worldwide and to develop mutually beneficial relations have received broad support across the globe.

From the very first days of independence, our country chose the principle of neutrality, which fosters peace and friendship. Permanent neutrality paves the way for a harmonious and peaceful life. This principle vividly reflects our views on peace, friendship, humanism, cooperation, and development.

Today, Turkmenistan&rsquo;s foreign policy of permanent neutrality is a path toward peace, calling on the peoples of the world to embrace friendship and brotherhood. Our country consistently puts forward important initiatives at both regional and global levels. The steady support of these initiatives by the United Nations and other reputable international organizations further strengthens Turkmenistan&rsquo;s state prestige and international authority.

Turkmenistan has gained the support of the world community through its permanent neutrality

On 14 November, in the city of Rabat of the Kingdom of Morocco, a ceremony was held in which the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the country (with residence in Ankara), Mekan Ishanguliyev, presented his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the strengthening of relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Morocco, including the expansion of bilateral political dialogue, as well as trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.

In addition, the sides exchanged views on preparations for the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which will be held on 12 December of this year in Ashgabat.

President of Uzbekistan called the city of Arkadag a model innovative city

Last week, a total of 17 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The main share of the trades consisted of high-quality products manufactured by the State Concern &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo;.

In foreign currency transactions, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates primarily purchased aviation kerosene produced by &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit,&rdquo; once again confirming the strong international demand for this product. Additionally, business representatives from the UAE, Turkey, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine purchased various textile products &mdash; bedding sets, plain-dyed and jacquard terry fabrics, as well as licorice root and cotton yarn. The total value of these deals exceeded 7 million 811 thousand US dollars.

On the domestic market, national entrepreneurs mainly purchased polypropylene and Turkmen agglomerate produced by enterprises with advanced production capacity of the &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo; State Concern, as well as base oil, cotton yarn, cotton fabric, and cotton fiber. The total value of these transactions exceeded 67 million 237 thousand manats.

Leader of Exchange Trades: High Demand for “Türkmennebit” Products

On November 18, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov.

During the telephone conversation, the parties discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. It was emphasized that constructive dialogue at the highest government level is an important factor in the Turkmen-Belarusian strategic partnership.

The fruitful nature of cooperation between the two countries in multilateral formats, including the UN, the CIS, and others, was noted.

The ministers also discussed preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 in Ashgabat.
