Turkmenistan’s Oil and Gas University Highlights Key Aspects of the LLDC3 Conference in Avaza

On October 3, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Khojamyrat Geldimyradov, reported on the country&#39;s macroeconomic indicators for the first nine months of the current year during a government meeting.

He stated that during the reporting period, the GDP growth rate increased by 6.3 percent. Sector-specific growth included:

On October 3, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov presented a report to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the results of the Ministry&rsquo;s activities over the past nine months of the current year.

"Turkmenistan Economy Days" to Be Held in Germany

The State Service for Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has officially registered and issued a certificate for a technology titled &ldquo;Innovative Method for Regenerating Thick Liquid Diethylene Glycol Using Alternative Energy Sources.&rdquo;

This innovative solution was developed by experts from the Energy Production and Energy Saving Laboratory of the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan &mdash; M. Hudayberdiyev, R. Esedulaev, D. Gadamov, and A. Pirmedov. The technology primarily aims to enhance the efficiency of diethylene glycol regeneration in oil and gas condensate fields.

In natural gas, water vapor under certain pressure and temperature conditions combines with methane to form hydrates, which cause pipeline blockages and equipment damage. To prevent these issues, diethylene glycol is widely used as a gas drying agent. The importance of this new development lies in the necessity to maintain the purity of the absorbent at 99% or higher, which is crucial for precise and efficient operation.

This innovative solution is based on a method of creating a thin layer of thick liquid diethylene glycol through the use of energy at specialized facilities. This approach reduces energy consumption, prevents heat loss, and minimizes negative environmental impact. Additionally, the technology does not emit carbon dioxide or other harmful gases.

As a result, this new solution offers an environmentally friendly and economically beneficial approach that not only improves the effectiveness of natural gas drying but also contributes significantly to the sustainable development of the energy sector. It also helps enhance oil flow and remove oily-paraffin deposits from pipelines.

Minister of Internal Affairs Muhammet Hydyrov reported on the results of the Road Safety Month held in September under the motto &ldquo;Traffic Safety &ndash; Peace of Our Life,&rdquo; during which various events were organized aimed at preventing traffic accidents.

Next, Minister of Justice Merettagan Taganov reported on the outcomes of his ministry&rsquo;s work during the reviewed period, the implementation of the ministry&#39;s Development Program, the execution of instructions given by the President of Turkmenistan to improve staff qualifications, and the preparation of proposals to further enhance the national legal framework.

Then, Chairman of the State Migration Service Amanmukhammet Sazakow reported on the work carried out since the beginning of the year, the practical steps being taken to actively implement modern methods in fulfilling the agency&rsquo;s responsibilities, the successful implementation of priority tasks outlined in the agency&#39;s Development Program, and the strengthening of its human resources capacity.

The Head of State signed a document establishing corresponding military and law enforcement structures in the new etraps (districts) of the country&rsquo;s velayats (provinces).

Summing up the meeting, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces emphasized that great importance is attached to strengthening the country&rsquo;s defense capabilities and improving the living conditions of servicemen and their families, noting that work in this direction will continue.

Turkmenistan&rsquo;s national pavilion at the &ldquo;EXPO-2025&rdquo; World Exhibition in Osaka, Japan, has reached a major milestone &mdash; the number of visitors has surpassed two million. The milestone guest was registered at the end of September, serving as clear evidence of growing international interest in the country.

With the registration of the two-millionth visitor, Turkmenistan&rsquo;s pavilion has been recognized as one of the most successful at the expo. This achievement highlights the broad scope of international cooperation and the continued success of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s cultural diplomacy.

The pavilion, ceremonially opened with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan, was the first national pavilion to open at EXPO-2025. This key step underscores the country&rsquo;s increasing presence on the global stage.

Constructed by the economic society &ldquo;Belli HJ,&rdquo; the pavilion blends modern architectural features with national design elements. It comprises several thematic sections, where visitors can explore Turkmenistan&rsquo;s economy, innovations, historical heritage, and rich cultural traditions.

An ethnographic restaurant offering traditional Turkmen cuisine has also become a popular attraction.

Exhibition areas dedicated to ancient crafts, national attire, and visual arts attract special attention from guests.

Number of Visitors to Turkmenistan’s National Pavilion in Osaka Exceeds Two Million

On September 30, the sixth meeting of the Turkmen-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation took place in the capital of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the participants discussed the supply of energy resources from Turkmenistan to the European Union.

The Turkmen delegation was led by Minister of Finance and Economy Mammetguly Astanagulyev, while the Hungarian side was headed by Deputy State Secretary for Eastern Relations Development &Aacute;d&aacute;m Stifter. The meeting focused on the prospects for exporting Turkmen energy resources to the European market, as well as plans for cooperation in green energy and the gradual implementation of renewable energy sources.

A key topic of the negotiations was the strengthening of trade and economic ties. In this regard, Ashgabat and Budapest agreed to accelerate work on an agreement for the promotion and mutual protection of investments. Plans were also discussed for organizing reciprocal business visits for representatives of the business communities.

It is worth noting that Turkmenistan is pursuing a policy of diversifying its natural gas exports, placing particular emphasis on projects targeting the European direction. The country&rsquo;s gas reserves are estimated at over 50 trillion cubic meters. Turkmenistan ranks fourth in the world in terms of proven natural gas reserves.

&mdash; Thanks to the efforts of our esteemed President, significant progress is being observed in the oil and gas sector. It should be noted that the employees of the State Concern &quot;Turkmennebit&quot; are making a considerable contribution to this progress. Specialists at the &quot;Nebitgazylmytaslama&quot; Institute of the Concern also set themselves the goal of making the Year of International Peace and Trust a successful one. They are working tirelessly in oil exploration, scientific research, and project development, effectively using the favorable conditions created by our Hero with Arkadag roots, Serdar, and increasing the production of &ldquo;black gold.&rdquo;

The decisions made at the recent meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan oblige us to further intensify the pace of our work. In our country, labor is held in high esteem, and the work of every employee and specialist is duly recognized.

&mdash; Workers of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s oil and gas industry have marked the 34th anniversary of the country&#39;s Independence with significant labor achievements. The decisions adopted at the recent session of the Halk Maslahaty in the capital fill us with particular pride. At a ceremonial event held within the oil and gas complex in connection with the resolutions of the national forum, I was awarded the country&rsquo;s highest state decoration &ndash; the medal &ldquo;For Love of the Motherland.&rdquo; This day will forever remain one of the happiest and most memorable in my life.

I express my deep gratitude to our esteemed President for this high recognition of my work. Currently, construction is underway on the Serhetabat&ndash;Herat gas pipeline, which represents a key stage of the Turkmenistan&ndash;Afghanistan&ndash;Pakistan&ndash;India (TAPI) pipeline project. I take great pride in contributing to the construction of this important pipeline, which is being implemented thanks to the efforts of our esteemed President, who is successfully continuing the initiatives of our Hero Arkadag.
