Over $2.405 Million in Deals Recorded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan

Specialists from the construction and installation department of the T&uuml;rkmen&shy;gaz&uuml;pj&uuml;n&ccedil;ilik association are actively engaged in the gasification of rural areas in Dashoguz Velayat. In 2024, they constructed 60 kilometers of new gas pipelines of various pressure levels.

Among the projects implemented last year was the construction of a medium-pressure gas pipeline over two kilometers long, laid in the village of Ak Altyn in the Boldumsaz etrap.

The new gas pipelines, built as part of the National Transformation Program, are intended for the gasification of rural areas. In addition to Ak Altyn, pipelines of various lengths have been laid in the Shavat, Akdepe, and Gorogly etraps.

These measures ensure the uninterrupted supply of gas to consumers, enhance the reliability of the gas infrastructure, and improve its efficiency.

Dashoguz Velayat has developed an extensive gas supply network that fully meets the local population&rsquo;s demand for natural gas. The number of such facilities increases every year, contributing to the development of infrastructure in line with modern requirements.

In the northern region of the country, timely maintenance of equipment is also carried out, ensuring the safe operation of existing gas supply networks.

Effective Measures for Gasification of Rural Areas Implemented in Dashoguz Velayat

On January 31, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, during which a number of priority issues of state life were reviewed.

The Quality of Services for Providing Consumers with Petroleum Products is Improving

In our country, the stable prosperity and well-being of the people are based on the dynamic development of the economy. In the past year, the volume of industrial production at current prices reached almost 25.7 billion manats. Of the produced goods, 6.465.6 million manats worth were manufactured at state-owned industrial enterprises. The majority of the value of these products comes from the enterprises in the oil and gas sector in our region. Compared to the previous year, there has been an increase in the production volume at large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in the chemical industry, flour and feed production, and light industry.

From January to December 2024, the volume of industrial products sent to consumers (including the remaining production at the start of the year) amounted to 6.386 million manats. Of this, 58.8% was exported abroad.

The energy sector plays an important role in accelerating socio-economic development and ensuring the well-being of the population. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our Hero Arkadag and esteemed President, powerful energy facilities have been built in our region in recent years and are now operational. As a result, last year, 4,828 million kilowatt-hours of electricity were produced, marking a 9.3% increase compared to the previous year. The employees of the state-owned &quot;Lebap&quot; and &quot;Watan&quot; power plants have significantly contributed to this success. Thanks to their joint efforts, domestic consumers are supplied with electricity without interruptions, and part of the energy is exported in accordance with intergovernmental agreements.

The Seyd oil refining plant has completed significant work in producing valuable petrochemical products through deep processing of raw materials. In the large industrial enterprise, 472,300 tons of raw materials were processed last year, producing 244,000 tons of gasoline, 117,900 tons of diesel fuel, and 21,500 tons of road bitumen.

In the completed year, high results were achieved in the production of cement (1,118.7 tons), cotton yarn (402.9 million manats), silk fabrics (112,400 square meters), and sewing and knitwear products (812.5 million manats), marking a significant achievement compared to the previous year.

Excellent results were also achieved in the processing of cotton produced by the farmers in our region. Last year, cotton gins produced 108,400 tons of cotton fiber. This fiber is used in textile factories across the country to produce high-quality yarn, part of which is exported.

Workers at the industrial enterprises of the region have made great efforts to produce food products in abundance. During the reporting period, 396.8 tons of flour products, 2,858.8 tons of sweets and confectionery, nearly 35,800 tons of dairy products, 97,423 standard cans of packaged fruits and vegetables, 17,318.8 tons of grains, and 839.4 tons of fish and fish products were produced. This indicates significant growth in the production of these goods compared to the previous year.

High production results have been achieved thanks to the significant contribution of workers from individual industrial enterprises. Last year, large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in the city produced goods worth 4,776.4 million manats, which is the highest indicator in the region. High results were also achieved at industrial enterprises in the K&ouml;ytendag and Khala&ccedil; districts. For example, last year, industrial enterprises in the K&ouml;ytendag district produced goods worth 531.2 million manats, showing a 43.6% increase compared to the previous year.

The successes and high indicators achieved in the past year serve as a strong foundation for further progress and development. In the new year, industrial workers in the region face responsible tasks. They work with enthusiasm, fulfilling the orders of the Head of State and achieving new successes. The construction of the Turkmenistan&ndash;Afghanistan&ndash;Pakistan&ndash;India (TAPI) gas pipeline serves as a vivid example of these efforts. In September 2024, the foundation was laid for significant projects in the Mary region, which aim to bolster regional energy security, enhance the welfare of neighboring nations, and create a sustainable economic environment. These projects include the construction of the Serhetabat&ndash;Herat section, part of the TAPI project, and the establishment of the &quot;Şatlyk-1&quot; gas compressor station.

The ambitious tasks assigned to the FEC, such as identifying and developing new resource-rich deposits, increasing hydrocarbon production and processing volumes, creating diversified routes for delivering Turkmen energy resources to global markets, and utilizing innovations in oil and gas production, are being systematically addressed by the State Concerns &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmennebit&rdquo; and &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmengaz&rdquo; as well as the State Corporation &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmengeologi&yacute;a.&rdquo;

In line with achieving the nationally adapted Sustainable Development Goals, key directions of ongoing work include strengthening partnerships in energy resource processing, exchanging advanced technologies under new environmental standards, and attracting investors to supply advanced specialized equipment. Turkmenistan plans to completely eliminate greenhouse gas emissions by 2030

In Turkmenistan&#39;s gas industry, significant attention is given to implementing the country&rsquo;s President&rsquo;s energy policy. Industry specialists are tirelessly working to increase natural gas production and ensure reliable supplies of this essential energy resource to both domestic and international consumers.

The Shatlyk Gas Compressor Station, one of the largest facilities within the &ldquo;T&uuml;rkmengazakdyrys&rdquo; association, plays a key role in fulfilling this task. The station services 65 kilometers of high-pressure pipelines and ensures the uninterrupted flow of gas from the &ldquo;Galkynysh&rdquo; field and other fields. Over 300 specialists are employed at the station.

The incoming natural gas is directed to both export and domestic markets, meeting the needs of the population in the Mary and Ahal regions.

In 2024, large-scale repair work was carried out on the pipeline. A 1,200-meter section was replaced, significantly improving the system&#39;s reliability. Additionally, a new gas pipeline was constructed to enhance gas supplies to the Sarahs district of the Ahal region.

Furthermore, mechanisms for opening and closing the pipelines were replaced, and the inlet and outlet pipelines were reconstructed.

&ldquo;With the combined efforts of our specialists, we ensure full compliance with technological requirements for the uninterrupted transportation of natural gas,&rdquo; the station&rsquo;s staff emphasize.

Uninterrupted Transportation of Natural Gas through the Dowletabat–Deryalyk Pipeline

On January 3, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting via a digital system, during which a range of priority issues concerning state affairs were reviewed.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, B. Amanov, reported on the draft Work Plans for 2025 for the sectoral departments of the oil and gas industry.

According to these plans, the State Concerns &quot;T&uuml;rkmengaz&quot; and &quot;T&uuml;rkmennebit&quot; have outlined objectives for the comprehensive development of oil and gas fields, the extraction of natural and associated gas, oil, and gas condensate, the production of liquefied gas, the export of Turkmen &quot;blue fuel,&quot; as well as the advanced processing of oil and the supply of petroleum products to domestic and international consumers.

The State Corporation &quot;T&uuml;rkmengeologi&yacute;a&quot; plans to carry out activities aimed at identifying oil- and gas-rich strata, exploring solid mineral resources and underground water, increasing their reserves, and widely introducing advanced scientific achievements and innovative technologies into production.

In addition, among the main objectives are the phased development of the &quot;Galkynysh&quot; gas field, which ranks among the world&#39;s largest reserves of &quot;blue fuel,&quot; and the construction of a key segment of the Turkmenistan&ndash;Afghanistan&ndash;Pakistan&ndash;India (TAPI) gas pipeline&mdash;namely, the Serhetabat&ndash;Herat section, also known as the &quot;Arkadag&rsquo;s White Path.&quot;

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the fuel and energy sector is one of the key segments of the national economy. In this regard, efforts should focus on increasing the production capacity of specialized enterprises, adopting modern technologies, and implementing comprehensive measures in this direction.

Approving the proposed Work Plans for the oil and gas complex, the head of state instructed the Vice Premier to carry out the necessary work.

In Turkmenistan, not only is the extraction of valuable natural resources continuing successfully, but their reserves are also being replenished. Specialists of the &quot;Lebapnebitgazg&ouml;zleg&quot; expedition of the State Corporation &quot;T&uuml;rkmengeologi&yacute;a&quot; are making a significant contribution to this process.

One of the key areas of their work is scientific and research activities conducted in the western part of the country. A drilling team led by Magtym Mahmudov is extracting valuable resources, replenishing underground mineral reserves.

Recently, exploratory drilling of well No. 1907 at the Goturdepe field was successfully completed, reaching a depth of 3,975 meters. Currently, specialists are finalizing their work and are expecting an industrial flow of crude oil.

Masters of their craft, such as drillers Jorakuly Azimov and Alijan Durdybayev, as well as assistant drillers Zakir Sabirow and Muradjan Seyidov, have proven their expertise in the Balkan region, where they had previously worked actively on the Ekere and Cheleken sites. The results of geological studies confirm the high prospects for successful operations at Goturdepe.

The team is regularly provided with modern drilling equipment, including Chinese-manufactured tools, which significantly improve the quality and productivity of their work.

Additionally, great attention is paid to creating favorable conditions for the regular rest of employees working in remote areas.

Magtym Mahmudov proudly reports that the New Year holiday was greeted with significant labor achievements. In the near future, the team will begin drilling well No. 1908 at the Goturdepe field. They are confident that their efforts will make a worthy contribution to the development of Turkmenistan&#39;s economy.

Extensive work is being carried out in our country to explore, industrially develop hydrocarbon resources, increase production volumes, process raw materials, and deliver finished products to consumers.

One of the largest enterprises in our country, making a significant contribution to the further development of the oil and gas sector, which is a priority area, and to the production of goods from hydrocarbon resources that are in high demand on global markets, is the Seydi Oil Refinery, located in the Lebap region. Over the past years, important projects have been implemented at this powerful enterprise, and extensive modernization has been carried out through significant investments, which has contributed to a substantial increase in production volumes and quality. Clear evidence of this is the variety of high-quality products manufactured at the plant and the high results achieved.

Since the beginning of 2024, declared the &quot;Year of the Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy,&quot; the refinery has processed approximately 431.4 thousand tons of raw materials, achieving 109.1% of the planned target. From this volume of raw materials, approximately 375.7 thousand tons of finished products were produced. Notably, around 219 thousand tons of the produced output consisted of gasoline with various octane ratings, which was delivered to consumers. Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate of production for this valuable product reached 109.6%, serving as a vivid example of progress in improving production and its efficient organization at this enterprise.

At this large enterprise, which plays an important role in the steady development of the national economy, approximately 109.6 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 23.6 thousand tons of heavy vacuum gas oil, and more than 19 thousand tons of road bitumen were produced during the first 11 months of this year.

Such high achievements have been made possible by equipping the enterprise with state-of-the-art equipment, as well as the broad opportunities created by our esteemed President for productive work and the proper rest of the employees.
